Sleepy Mice Remake My Thoughts

It takes a while,
time gets trapped behind closed doors,
mice need to be nudged into awareness,
whiskers electrified.

A sleeper adjusts its mouth,
for often lips arrive
behind a scream.

The brain is now ready for its screenshot.
The body stretches to a window,
neuronal mice
pull upon somatic ligaments,
yank upon slabs of connective tissue,
slowly reshaping a new reality.

Unfortunately,
you are not exactly transferable,
you can’t get on the same hamster wheel.
A new you must be rehabilitated,
the world also must be trained
to accommodate this au currant -

this avant garde prototype
of an old guy.

Love that saved stork

“It’s a very beautiful bird. It can never be ugly!
It’s the most beautiful bird in the world!”
- Quote by Purnima Devi Barman,
Wildlife biologist who saved
Greater Adjutant stork species
-------------------------------------------------------
Greater Adjutant stork
Uncomely looks
Despised by all
For being ugly
No other fault

No graceful gait
No melody
Awkward height
Impolite eater
Unsettled gaze

A woman fell in love
Raised an all woman
Hargila army to save
To educate, made those
Who despised love the bird

Rescued,
Rehabilitated
Cared,
Now the storks
Live in peace

Love can change
Love can conquer
Love is best when
Under pressure, so
Says the saved storks

An endangered bird
Brought back to live
Just because one
Woman saw beauty
In this incongruous bird

Brokenhearted Afterthought In An Abandoned Park

the park is abandoned
my heart is abandoned
our fresh start is abandoned
i take an honest picture of myself
i never treated you the best
i never treated myself the best
everyday i failed the test
i admit that i do not deserve her
she found herself a man and left this uneducated boy behind
i am proud of her and i congratulate her for she is in a better place
i made her life hell by being to into myself and not supporting her at all
i made her life hell by my denial of my narcissism and my lack of attentiveness to her
when i see her so full of happiness and so full of love, i feel nothing but proud and nothing but happy for her
i also feel personal growth because and am learning to learn and evolving to evolve
one day i will get it right
one day i will win the fight
one day my rehabilitated heart will correctly take flight
until then, happy valentines day to my broken heart
this one would have been our tenth year together
i guess i will celebrate with the air of the memories
for like mister in that purple movie, that is all i have to lean on now

Rehabilitated

This is coming from the bottom of my heart.
Upon my release I'll have a brand new start.
Get to make up for all of my lie's.
Wasn't me I deeply apologize.
The person I was, became a person I'm not.
With my addiction, all the trouble it brought.
Mom I'm sorry, I was so weak.
Hurt you badly, now we don't even speak.
I know it must of been really sad.
What happened to the baby you once had.
With it all being harder for you than me.
Can't imagine how difficult I became to see.
You givin me money, so I could get by.
Even when you knew, was going to get high.
Doing it all, to keep me safely out of jail.
With all of that I created my own hell.
I'm very thankful to have another shot.
May stumble a bit but fall I will not.
Hope you can see all of my sincerity.
Time for me to be the man I was suppose to be.

Rehabilitation

She was brutally raped
And sent home, her father's rage
Mixed with mother's curse
Rehabilitated her in marriage
With the rapist,à la carte.

Premium Member Rehabilitated Gambler

I look at you and shudder to recall
How I might have been once so like you
Shamelessly desperate for attention
Gambling on love at every chance
Sometimes foolishly betting the farm
Anything just to make me feel alive

That all consuming quest ablaze
Focused entirely on the prize
Everything else falling by the side
Days thankfully long gone and forgotten
To think back absolutely exhausts me

I see your obvious pain but cannot understand
Fail to imagine how it might have been me
Seems now I’ve been happy forever or longer
Conveniently having blanked out life before now
I’m carefree in love and content
Of all those lessons learnt in the past
Really see no need to agitate murky those waters

Turnstile Carousel

Jail cell turnstile ...
two coming in, one leaving out
Rehabilitated prison farm menu;
criminal cold turkey,
and hot caught fee bitter words
makes for a tough cement wall chew
Only the well-adjusted few
will make it thru
Leaving byway of the electronic gate
swinging open past the turnstile carousel
Up and down ... in and out
Round and round,
five heading north, ten going south
Freedom is a justice pre-cooked plea barter word;
small shrimps
are tossed out the penal frying pan,
when bigger fish get cuff hooked and jury served
The little crustaceans
also avoid the long crab boil gavel time
whenever volatile, powder keg overcrowding occurs
Carnival turnstile carousel
offer clowns free limited accommodations,
yard bird view without bail ...
Twenty tickets always get punched in —
polite society’s bad ne’er do well
As ten lucky losers be parole exiting,
the wheel of misfortune carousel
keeps on troubled turnstile spinning

Premium Member Christian, the Lion

Christian, a lion, was purchased when he was just a baby.
Ace and John, Christian's owners, were also Christian's family.
All three of them for years lived in the big city,
until Christian reached that size and age,
that prevented Christian from being housed in any area or cage,
and so Ace and John decided unequivocally,
that Christian could use a little wildlife rehabilitation therapy,
and so Christian was shipped off to Africa to learn to live wild and free.
After about a year of Christian living in the wild freely,
Ace and John missed Christian terribly,
and decided to pay Christian a surprise visit unexpectedly.
"He probably won't remember either of you," George Adamson said,
a Kenyan conservationist who helped Christian get rehabilitated,
but one could only imagine Mr Adamson's surprise,
when he witnessed the reunion of Ace, John and Christian with his own eyes.
That reunion in itself is nothing short of becoming a legend,
It reminds us all that there aren't any bounds that love can't transcend .

Together Forever

Together Forever?
Some words they scar
Which last forever
I know you fail to recall
But I still remember
You go ahead
And say you are overwhelmed
That
We are back together
But one things for certain
I still remember
You left a big scar

And
It will last forever
It will never feel the same
Though it’s all cleared out
I will still just remember
We were once together
Nor scar, nor confused
As light as a feather
But that all changed
And we will never be as near
As once we were together
You will certainly not know what I have enclosed
In my heart
Where it will stay forever
A blizzard so wild
Which I can let out whenever
To terminate you’re ahead
The route you took
You could’ve rehabilitated
Weren’t you the chooser?
Then why did you go
A single sentence wrecked us forever
But can we still try
To be what us onetime were together
Forever?

Third Millenium London Update

St Paul’s gazes out over the modernising City
Where the Tower shrinks in its corner
Fearful of the vicious Shard
The Abbey and Houses of Parliament
Keep Westminster alive
Under the gaze of a watchful Eye
The hustle of the restless Oxford Street
Is matched by the bustle of Soho
The British Museum still reigns supreme in Bloomsbury
Despite constant tourist invasion
On the river the Cutty Sark is rehabilitated
And Tower Bridge still opens
The Boat Race can be seen every year but not from the new Garden Bridge

That Prewinter Feeling Consumes Me

stars in the sky in late fall blind me to happiness
that prewinter feeling consumes me and i reminisce till rehabilitated
i forget about everything and think about periods that simple sentences forgot
i then remember that God has answered more of my prayers than He didn't,
and thankfulness occurs as a direct result
i break out the dreamsicle melodies in my mind and stuff my problems and my troubles somewhere where a toybox was designed
images of rare southern white winters make my flesh tingle and uplifts my personal yearnings
alas! i am ready for the HolyDay Season
welcome, dear moon, please proceed to illuminate the missing pieces
solve once again the mystery of the puzzled puzzles and reveal the actual intended discovery
peace on earth is a crescent roll away for me
some may choose to continually disagree
however and nevertheless it is God's Vision i do see
melted butter pride is the way of my New Walk, and it leaves me feeling mighty free....
