Refraction Poems - Poems about Refraction

Refraction

In the ruin of 2020,
life shattered –
streets that once bustled,
now phantom,
ringing with the wail of sirens,
the weight of loneliness pushing down,
every breath a hint at what we lost.

Masks hid not only faces,
but the touch of an embrace,
conversations now murmurs from afar,
friendships frayed,
intimacy drowned out in screen static.
eyes aching with anticipation of the real.

Days

REFRACTION

REFRACTION

When a meaning’s span has no breadth
Or even being superficial with no depth
Then any intrinsic value would be scarce
Perhaps with origins on different worlds
Yet even when they are barely glimpsed
Or simply imagined and merely dreamt
By thick mist and clouds one is engulfed
Any claims of understanding can be false
For clarity of perception, one is obliged
As from

The Refraction of Your Gaze

The prism of your Rejection is held before me

colors, breaking apart
to pierce my heart
	with their meaning,
entering,
	becoming:

the Violet of Penitence
	though I seek not forgiveness
the Blue of Piety and Sadness
	the one color true
the Green of Faith and Envy
my eternal hope and your selfish desire
the Yellow of Jealousy and Fear
	which

My being is a mirror of the cold.
Flows through me, like wind and mold.
Flakes that can fly, bite, and hold.
The beauty of clear winter evenings unfolded.
Snowfall is enhanced by the trees exposed.
When lakes freeze, the kids shift to rink mode.
We omit each item from the scold.
However, we do not know what winter will hold.
This is

Valid, raw water is crucial for all faint life to a loader,
Stanley Meyer, Inventor of the 1970s Water Power Motor,
Rather than oil or gas, alive water might be properly used,
Cutting and cleaning may be done using kits water-based.

My write is alike a surge of water filling your glass,
Assuming you are flexible and decline to put

Delineation
By symbolisation
As the uttered word
Finds all hearts stirred
By the power of vibration
Coloured by their interpretation
As of purity of their being
In resonation feeling
Marked by intent
With will bent
In surrender
In wonder
Co-creating
By experiencing
Stirrings in the heart
Wherein cognition starts
Anew at each given moment
Heightened by stillness quotient

Premium Member- a Refraction Time -

Soon nature will change color
A refraction time
Autumn has the highest price
A goodbye to warm and bright days

The air is fresh and the forest is quiet
The migratory birds leave us
and those who remain
have to prepare for a new cold season

Autumn shines in orange, red and gold
When the sun sweeps low over the landscape
it gives a

I wanted this infatuation stone
perched on the fringe of a great unknown
wading into warm shallows called hope
my eyes out of tune with the murky shoal.

Reaching out with lusty intent
bumping infatuation over the ledge
wobbling down a trail of salty nonchalance
following like a drunken, big footed clown
leaving sunlight behind with each foolish stroke
into a deep blue ball

Glassy-Eyed Refraction

There was a sweet girl of pure glass.
Met a merry man with no class.
She’d shattered this bloke.
He drank til she broke.
Both attended funeral mass.

The bending light from the headline
News
As it enters my optic
Nerve
Resonates from eager

Coursing to my

As the crisp crunch of
Paper
Crackles in self
Satisfaction
The pungent wisp of fresh

And strong

Refraction

Though Time has dwindled me to motes,
My dust remains in sunset’s light—
A pattern faintly forms and floats
Discernible before your sight.

Indefinite and vague, yet there,
A wisp of what I was persists
Split-second long upon bright air—
Then vanishes in violet mist.

Eager to shred to tatters
All ambition to fight
Structured tyranny
