Best Refraction Poems
Soon nature will change color
A refraction time
Autumn has the highest price
A goodbye to warm and bright days
The air is fresh and the forest is quiet
The migratory birds leave us
and those who remain
have to prepare for a new cold season
Autumn shines in orange, red and gold
When the sun sweeps low over the landscape
it gives a warm and nice light
Time for reflection, leaned back in a soft chair
Take a look at the starry sky, it's beautiful
The only thing you need to think about,
is to be present at the moment

The bending light from the headline
News
As it enters my optic
Nerve
Resonates from eager
Fingertips
Coursing to my
Cortex
As the crisp crunch of
Paper
Crackles in self
Satisfaction
The pungent wisp of fresh
Paper
And strong
Ink
Refract
A
Poem
...I can touch

Glassy-Eyed Refraction
There was a sweet girl of pure glass.
Met a merry man with no class.
She’d shattered this bloke.
He drank til she broke.
Both attended funeral mass.

Refracting morn's light
Aurora Borealis
Beauty touched spirit
Sunrays pierce trees through forest
Moment captured forever

Expelled again from cosmic matters
The fool consults his satellite
Eager to shred to tatters
All ambition to fight
Structured tyranny
Rolling over
Civil minds
Without
Fear

The Refraction of Your Gaze
The prism of your Rejection is held before me
colors, breaking apart
to pierce my heart
with their meaning,
entering,
becoming:
the Violet of Penitence
though I seek not forgiveness
the Blue of Piety and Sadness
the one color true
the Green of Faith and Envy
my eternal hope and your selfish desire
the Yellow of Jealousy and Fear
which neither of us may ever erase
the Orange of Fruitfulness
wherein Love once grew, fragrant and sweet
the Red of Martyrs and Anger
death of the innocent, whose blood-color is as rage
projected from the Black Void of
your false Spirit, I am pierced as
you gaze beyond me, as though I were
a weak and fading spectrum
already dead
already powdered nothingness
Why must you
see me
through these colors
when I looked upon you with
the clear light of Love?

The light in your eyes
Hit the prism of my soul
And scattered into a spectrum
Of a million colors
A slow vibration
And then a similar wave of energy
Passed between us
As our fingers touch
I am transformed
And we travel to other places
The taste of your lips
Channels instant connection
And I don't want to leave this place
Your luminescence streams
Through your fingers and toes
And through the ends of your hair
The continual glow keeps me warm
As I take you in my arms
You make me feel infinite
Like I could live on forever
I tremble in my subtle weakness
But you are there to comfort me
You shelter me with your love
And I protect you under my wings
You make me all that I am
No one else could make me feel this way

I wanted this infatuation stone
perched on the fringe of a great unknown
wading into warm shallows called hope
my eyes out of tune with the murky shoal.
Reaching out with lusty intent
bumping infatuation over the ledge
wobbling down a trail of salty nonchalance
following like a drunken, big footed clown
leaving sunlight behind with each foolish stroke
into a deep blue ball - unforgiving cold
blue relenting to a black pod abyss
until the soul struck the floor of godless
a million stones for a fool to blindly grope
with handfuls of infatuation, I quickly rose
each stroke loosing a few more stones.
Breeching the surface with nothing left
but the refraction of lust and the ghost of regret.

My being is a mirror of the cold.
Flows through me, like wind and mold.
Flakes that can fly, bite, and hold.
The beauty of clear winter evenings unfolded.
Snowfall is enhanced by the trees exposed.
When lakes freeze, the kids shift to rink mode.
We omit each item from the scold.
However, we do not know what winter will hold.
This is the real springtime prize foretold

Refraction explained as....
the bendinig of a ray or wave of light
or sound,as it passes from one
medium into another....
Example,
a clear glass half full of water
with a straw inside glass
as light passes through the glass
it creates an illusion of sight
the straw appears as two seperate
but,if you hold straw straight center
it become's as one straw again.
Theory,
if we look at our physical body
as a container filled with water
if we consider our spiritual self
as above example,being the straw
you can now understand
the importance of centering,focus
the farther we lean in any direction
creates the illusion of spiritual sight
with the possibility of a broken spirit
The Holy Grail,or cup
is our physical body
containing our Holy Spirit....

Shape
Though Time has dwindled me to motes,
My dust remains in sunset’s light—
A pattern faintly forms and floats
Discernible before your sight.
Indefinite and vague, yet there,
A wisp of what I was persists
Split-second long upon bright air—
Then vanishes in violet mist.

Verse
Hey feather flick of wondrous need
Gossam dancing faded wonder
Floating frantic whispers freed
Pushing clouds of shadow under
Bringing light to intercede
In this an endless space of ether
Swirling twirling mocking fate
Where were you thirty years or more
Slamming shut this dewy door
Of promises and mirrored smoke
Wouldst I could tell this cosmic joke
That aged wine has better taste
A sweet aside young maiden fair
Enjoy the ride and dare to care
For memories will never waste
So make a few to share

Delineation
By symbolisation
As the uttered word
Finds all hearts stirred
By the power of vibration
Coloured by their interpretation
As of purity of their being
In resonation feeling
Marked by intent
With will bent
In surrender
In wonder
Co-creating
By experiencing
Stirrings in the heart
Wherein cognition starts
Anew at each given moment
Heightened by stillness quotient
