Eager to shred to tatters
All ambition to fight

Glassy-Eyed Refraction

There was a sweet girl of pure glass.
Met a merry man with no class.
She’d shattered this bloke.
He drank til she broke.
Both attended funeral mass.

Refraction
Though Time has dwindled me to motes,
My dust remains in sunset’s light—
A pattern faintly forms and floats
Discernible before your sight.

Indefinite and vague, yet there,
A wisp of what I was persists
Split-second long upon bright air—
Then vanishes in violet mist....

Rainbow
Refraction of light when
Rays of sunlight pass through
Raindrops sprinkled by clouds
Reflections behind drops
Release hues of magic
Rainbow iridescent
Revives hopes to rejoice

Be Careful of What You Wish For
Once when a fresh faced young girl named Mame,
Who had a face-lift, when seeking fame.
    But the mirror's refraction
    Gave her no satisfaction.
For her visage, portrayed an old dame.

Rainbows
RAINBOWS

Newton spoiled it all for me.
Rainbows were obviously
God’s colour spree
He splashed about with glee.

Beauty was their strength and attraction.
Now it’s all just wavelength and refraction.

Thank God though
Newton never saw the glow
Of ice bows and fog bows
I can still enjoy their shows....

A Wondrous Arc
A wondrous arc, I beheld

Perfection in its form,

From what hand, or artists brush

Was such beauty born.

The teachers tell us what it is,

Just raindrops and refraction.

But my romantic heart,

Sees heavenly interaction.

Colour Palette
Evening sky artist's pallette, shades
of the flickering candle flame.

Scintillation, Iridescence
light's refraction makes the perception.

Yellow, orange and reds compliment
Each other in perfect harmony

Complimentary colors blended
pleasingly to the artist eye.

Tour
My heart made trips
Selective on occasion
And comprisable on others
Its technique is quite mesearable
Like the light refraction in the sky
Its goes through and around
Settling for just a season
Interchanging with the moon
Dancing on the ocean edges
Tipsy and fragile
Making another move on its own
How can I follow my hearts
While its on a rollercoaster
Using gravity to maintain balance...

ELIMINATION
Crocodile swallows body of human,
Devil kisses her organ.
Poisonous snake licks human.
See here perfect reflection.

Vessel wants to touch barren of green valley.
Poisonous snake touches lingerie.
Devils forget lineage means ancestry.
See there refraction of sympathy.

  See tears of crocodile.
 Sigh of devils.
Poisonous forget to kisses.
Keep my love and sympathy where no trace of Devils.

My being is a mirror of the cold. Flows through me, like wind and mold. Flakes that can fly, bite, and hold. The beauty of clear winter evenings unfolded. Snowfall is enhanced by the trees exposed.  When lakes freeze, the kids shift to rink mode. We omit each item from the scold. However, we do not know what winter will hold. This is the real springtime prize foretold

Prism Sky
When the Earth’s star rises,

 I see you.

When the mountains swallow the sky,

 I taste you.

When the waves kiss the clouds,

 I feel you.

The blue sky is my ocean,

 in its sweet expanse

 and nebula wisps.

And you are the prism I behold,

 a vibrant band, iridescent.

The ark that stretches toward the horizon,

 from end to end, infinite.

 Refraction and reflection, your halo,

cascading vapors of light and love....
