The Switch Up

This world just keeps becoming 
more & more ridiculous 
Been way past the point
of being sick of this
Every path taken 
turns into a complete disaster
Only way to get through it all
Is a borderline insane/nervous laughter
Always chasing the knowledge 
to know what comes after
Instantly fooling myself into
believing this time will
be the switch up
And ill actually be

I saw the world through blood

I was looking at the world through my eyes,
curious to see its parallel side.

I had grief because I was seeing it through blood,
but as I heard my praises and insults,
glanced over the beautiful mountains
and growing poverty,

that became my biggest pride —
to witness the world like this.

But when my hand started to grow cold
from the pain

The Newness of Now

Now is not categorized as such because it rose out of the sordid ashes of a yester-moment

Now is not classified as fresh because it arose pristine and bleached from yester-hour’s horror

The uniqueness of now is assigned according to a mind vision that gives permission to peer with a microscopic lens

Along with the realization that there

Flaws

I know making you less perfect
won’t make me any better
yet I can’t help it
I fabricate your flaws in my head 
as if it would make my own disappear 
almost as if ruining you 
made me any better
…
almost as if making you imperfect
made me as perfect as you

—maybe I should learn to love my flaws instead of obsessing

A Daunting Realization

   Ecstasy was never meant for me ~

Why do I hunger for justice,
for love, I can’t keep this emptiness
inside, this void annoys

I cry in pain, I gain nothing
and I wonder, 
Why do I find comfort in turning away
