In the next life
if reincarnated
as a mayfly
I am designated
it's good enough for me
with nothing but fun
for twenty-four hours
(under the sun)
until the race is run
bonking here bonking there
I'll be bonking everywhere
non-stop until I drop

Blundering into Sunday and wondering

There's sleep in my eyes
I should have left that in bed
but I never,
washing my face instead does the trick.

Picking out socks thinking how
my life rocks,
if Mother could see me now.

I’m quite a normal sort of person Ì do not steal and
only lie with passion. In the house, we lived in there
 were two flats on the second floor, a lady rented a
room and we shared the kitchen with her. Yes, it was
not a place where the middle classes cared

At times Dickie can be rather tricky
At 90 years old
He's just been paroled

My hubby and I went out on the town
We both ordered plenty drinks without a frown
Both ordered whiskey
Not Irish quickie
When night was over we both sound like clowns.

Waves and Bubbles -A Quickie

Tide is high, tide is low,
Good days come, good days go,
Life of peace, storms of life,
And some dreams, dreams of mine,
Fly and die like bubbles

A Quickie

The bubbles have the ocean now.
They're headed toward the shore.
The navy cannot penetrate.
It seems we've lost the war.
What does life hold in store?

Translucent mauve and purple on a strict medusian mission
                         In rhythmic undulation bubble-shaped to thwart suspicion.

beneath ocean waves
dreams of those who dream - simmer
waiting for that spark
to lift them from their slumber
in vibrant purple bubbles
