Portal after portal,
I travel immortal,
A soul informal,
A human with morals,
Riding just outside normal.
Entering through an open portal,
Showing more to reach for,
A reason to explore,
Deeper parts of your core.
Stored information waits to be discovered,
I have uncovered you,
Giving a different view,
A way to see through,
What you think you have to do,
Challenging you with something new.
Follow me through the portal,
You are immortal,
And a human with morals,
Creating like normal.
This life your portal,
A formal event,
You are the gift in your present,
Unwrapping every moment.
Opening hearts wherever I went,
Knowing I was heaven sent,
I travel the firmament,
Finding portals opening to the present.

Eve saw the serpent eat the fruit
and through her sight, he found the route
to the recesses of her mind
then made her think he was so kind.
She heard one speak in tones so sweet
slick words that entered wisdom’s seat.
So, through the portal of the ears
she was suckered by Satan’s jeers.
Satan seeks access to our mind
His goal is to deceive and bind.
And when at last he gets his way
He treats us like lions treat prey.
Guard well the access to your mind
Let not allurements make you blind.
If you would make Jesus your Lord
Then you must sever Satan’s chords.
The doors you once opened to him
which made you subject to his whim
You now must close and bid him leave
If you to Christ desire to cleave.
Be mindful of the things you watch
The Devil seeks your soul to catch.
Through movies and music, he sets
His trusty traps and nifty nets.
To sight and sound, scent, touch, and taste
demon possession can be traced.
Once Satan gains access to the soul
He seeks his victims to control.
Satan seeks to steal, kill, and destroy,
To this end, he designs his ploys.
Jesus offers you, life and peace
He longs Satan’s chains to release.

"The teacher who is indeed wise does not bid you to enter the house of his wisdom but rather leads you to the threshold of your mind." Kahlil
Grade one, six years old, born to immigrant parents
not a word of English did I speak, but I found compassion
in a kind loving teacher who smelled like talcum powder
and wore baby blue eyeshadow, the color of the sky.
She never married for the love of her life died at war
each time she spoke about him her eyes shone like stars *
I will never forget that first day at school
when I began to cry. Not understanding the language
I walked a dark corridor of oppression and gloom.
She walked over to my desk and leaned into my ear,
don't worry I speak Italian too in case you get stuck.
Its as if someone had just let me out of a dark suitcase.
I inhaled the scent of her talcum and the color of her blues.
Everything would be fine I knew as I walked through
the portals of my mind unafraid, I began to trust and learn.
Miss Cartolano was my first grade teacher.
She was the one who taught me how to never give up.

Don't knock me for opening doors
that lead to new
& different perspectives
We're all perceptions peering from
the inside out while
being viewed by other aspects
of ourselves
Shells of former selves fight for
relevance as the new
arises with a higher
intelligence
This battle continues under the
surface but is prevalent
& bound to be seen nonetheless
Much respect is given to those that
are able to overcome
this struggle by fighting
until the task is put to rest
Every door is a portal into a separate
reality the same as
wormholes lead to different
spatial mentalities
The definition of reality is a fallacy
but everything is both
true & farce
Foreign ideas spark conversations that
start a forest of fires but
this is needed in order to get
to the heart of the ire
Your mind is a park with many
trees so keep
control of the flame
as smoke obstructs vision
of roads & terrain
Good ideas go down easy like smart
water so absorb
this intellectual rain
if you're parched
Is it insane to want to leave a
box with all of its
walls & ceilings?
Or is it crazy to run in circles
just to suppress what
your heart & mind
are feeling?

Ebony portals form in the shadows,
and demons emerge from the depths of Hell.
Exactly why this occurs, no one knows,
but their presence is marked by a rank smell.
Reality is skewed and soon dismissed,
your imagination is in control.
And feelings of doom and danger persist,
sending a chill throughout your heart and soul.
As ghostly phantoms haunt the dark of night,
the sounds of the night converge one by one.
And every creak and groan adds to your fright;
the horror of Halloween has begun.
On that night before the gates of Hell close,
ebony portals form in the shadows.

Beyond the Evening Sky
David J Walker
Wide open
The pupils of the universe
Captures the imagination of the
Evening sky
Nothing between the bare brown dirt of the Earth
And the heavens above
the portal named Eternity
Encumbers gentle true spirits reaching for
Stored truths yet untold
One by one
The constellations come
Into view
A step beyond the
Evening Sky
Exposing the Bivouacked migration

Through portals in my mind, race my cherished thoughts,
memories that cross a bridge between two lonely hearts.
Illumined by a silvery moon or golden light of the sun,
we meet in private rendezvous where romance is spun.
It's a gateway to happiness as you walk through the mist
and I welcome you with open arms, longing to be kissed.

"Portals Of Your Eyes
I peeped through your windows and saw empathy there.
Smiling, "She" beckoned me in to share moments in time.
History being close by joined us to enrich us with enlightenment.
Courage, humble yet audacious spoke to us of "His" bravery.
Nobility served us sustenance and we did eat.
Peace offered us of "Her" waters and we did drink.
Unity embraced us with "His" enduring arms, binding us for all eternity.

I am my Pain
my Pain is me
Navigator teaching
the Sage in me.
A Prophet’s mind
undoing old things
unmasking the past
gifts He brings.
Seer in the moments
by my side
Spirit my Shadow
Spectre my Guide.
Maestro of life
conducting the way
show me lessons
to learn today.
Give me ways
in which to grow
open wide portals
so I may know.

the day, the...day, the...
live long day...it, just won't stop...
i mean...there's no end...
it's always the same...
moment, minute, too hour...
time is...standing still...
it's...time dilation...
the ames room time lapse effect...
acceleration...
causes expansion...
through other time dimensions...
a necessity...
one is not enough...
so...an effective time machine...
brings time to a halt...
in normal three space...
opening time-port access...
travel...anywhere...
one single instant...
a disappearance from space...
appearance in time...

Driven by passion
fueled by delight
Each morning a welcome
giving birth to the night
Both offer one message
twin portals divine
Two options before me
—the choosing sublime

Here's a fact
There's no display terminal so you can go from
One place to another with out being tracked.
They're very functional
Yet, spordical
Faster than a plane
Or train.
If you go through the magical
Portal
You'll have your own tale
To tell people over cocktails
Just don't get egotistical
Because there's always some one who will
Want to get physical.

I say I'm going to a better place
How do I know?
I've seen other realities
When you die you're resurrected to a new life
Sometimes better
Other times not
Those of us who kill ourselves meet old friends
We cannot say hi
For they do not remember us
We may not remember our jumps
but we know we are old souls and become wiser
What do we call the space between our death and a new life?
Our suicidal portals.
