Premium MemberWhen His Darkness Met Light

In a state of darkness, with hatred in his heart,
there traveled to Damascus with the intent to persecute Christians
one named Saul.
On the road, light surrounded him, blinding him. He was a witness to Christ,
who admonished him. Once in Damascus, he waited until a believer, Ananias,
would soon answer God’s call
by laying healing hands on a man who was once so cruel.
That same light that had blinded Saul transformed him into
the redeemed apostle known as Paul.

Premium MemberLove where have you gone

One day you will see the victims of this judgement
there is a language barrier between life and death
we mean no one any harm
Yet branded as lepers deeply hurting
Justice knowing what our angels receive in our stead
why persecute us everyday praying for those that trespass against us
Hurt has a funny way of opening the eyes
When condemned unworthy and unclean
call it the selfish way of thinking on others
Fear has produced a negative culture blaming everyone else for their faults
Each of us has a choice in order to be wise
do we choose our welfare over that of others
blaming everyone else for your faults and sin
When protecting basic human rights is our mission
expressing opposition defending the silent voice unheard
there lies the weakness of a heart in conflict defeated

So It Is Not Just Me After All

We persecute

Punish ourselves

Then accept whatever sentence

Handed down to us

For merely showing human kindness

Which we equate to weakness

Knowing also full well

We have absolutely no

And there is no form

Of appeal

Or salvation

For those of us amongst us who

Try and care

Yet it never seems to get us anywhere

But in the dock

Standing accused

Premium MemberI Accidentally Spoke To the Wrong Burmese

let me give you some history of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar
is that Burma?
it used to be

they won’t let us have more than two children
they persecute us daily
we cannot travel freely and are refused citizenship

I wonder who “they are” so I ask.
rohingya people.
we cannot own land either.
the Burmese are holding a grudge, angry with us.
why?
our ancestors sided with the British
when?
1948 when they came into our country to steal our resources.
which ones?
jade, gems, oil, teak, natural gas

I try to get away from this crazy person.
there are fifty-four million other Buddhists living here.
surely some of them are more positive.
it begins to rain; a monsoon is not much easier to take.

Premium MemberDick the Coward

I’ve written about “Dick The Bully”
“Dick The Ignorant” also
This poem is about “Dick The Coward”
Who is one of the lowest of low

“Dick The Coward” you are gutless
You follow and persecute in a pack
You ride on the coat tails of other bullies
Then cowardly and viciously attack

Afraid to voice your vile comments
Unless the other Dicks are there
You are spineless and despicable
Finding delight in others pain and despair

Forthright without a face, from behind a screen
Being supported by the other Dicks
Belittling and damaging good people
Deriving pleasure from the cruelty you inflict

Dick ,are you so inadequate
That it fulfils you spewing heartless remarks
“Can you please stop doing handstands Dick”
“And talking out of your ar**e!!”

Smile

SMILE,STAY WITH ME
THROUGH THE UPS AND DOWNS
SMILE,BRING ME SUNSHINE
BRING ME LAUGHTER

SMILE,STAY WITH ME
MAKE ME WHOLE AGAIN
MAKE ME THE SAME AGAIN
SMILE,WIPE AWAY MY TEARS
WIPE AWAY MY SORROW,MY MISERY

SMILE,STAY WITH ME
SMILE,BRIGHTEN UP MY FACE
SMILE,ENLIGHTEN MY LIFE
SMILE DOWN ON THOSE WHO PERSECUTE ME
SMILE DOWN ON HATERS WHO ARE FULL OF JUDGEMENT AND TRY TO BRING ME DOWN

SMILE,STAY WITH ME
FOR THOU SHALL BE WHOLE AGAIN
FOR THOU SHALL BE VINDICATED IN THE END
SMILE,STAY WITH ME
I TRUST THAT YOU WILL STAY WITH ME
AND I SHALL SMILE AGAIN

Premium MemberJesus Teaching: Beatitudes Mt

He began to teach them

Saying

Blessed are the poor in spirit
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven
Blessed are they who mourn
For they will be comforted

Blessed are the meek
For they will inherit the land
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness
For they will be satisfied

Blessed are the merciful
For they will be shown mercy
Blessed are the clean of heart
For they will see God

Blessed are the peacemakers
For they will be called children of God
Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness for theirs is the kingdom of heaven
Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you

Utter every kind of evil against you (falsely) because of me
Rejoice and be glad
For your reward will be great in heaven
Thus they persecuted the prophets who were before you [MT 5:2-12]

Premium MemberKing-Sized Bull Crap Machine Busters

You are the light
From the small crack in the door.
Illuminate your darkness.
Feed the deprived
With your good thoughts.

You are the bearer of World Peace.
Show the others how to be.
Don't be offended.
Don't get sucked in.

You are the path
They must walk.
To punish, prod, or persecute
Is playing the lower game while

You are a star
Shot across the sky.
The mean people are beneath you,
(Literally)
So that you may lift them into the night
To be reborn the next day.

What does this all mean?
You wonder in your daydream.

Don't take the high road
Without the deplorables alongside you.

Just as you wouldn't marry a brown toad
Before saying "I love you."

fighting hate with hatred
leaves us hateful and hated

Matthew 5:44 But I say to you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Gratitude 5 Eucharis

I
November 18 is a day of victory
Missionary doing good for Jesus
Defrauded of thousands, "2-week loan"
Finally the courts brought back that cash
My LORD, in His time, shows faithfulness
In Africa, I doubted the system, not His
System of Justice, but man's. Now I bless

II
Richard L. came to visit; "consistent" - you know it
Some writers here have discipline, daily poet - TREE
Flows as leaves (said Belle) or roots, shoots, fruits:
I feel the urge to thank Jesus in public places -
Because there are no secret service Christians ;
Or we ought not be secret agents of Christ Jesus,
But willing to speak truth, our salvation, grace
To all, with humility and boldness, shown in Paul
The greatest early missionary, apostle - in the flesh -
Did not see Jesus, but LIGHT on the Damascus Road
And that unmistakable Voice: You persecute Me
When you touch those who call me LORD, Savior, Friend.

III
Amen
Shalom, shalom, shlaom

Persecution

Persecution

Your spewing blasphemy like a teenage rhapsody.
Full of spite, while you delight in the atrocities of vulgar and hate.
Nobody wants to be your mate!
A false bravado; like Watergate.

An obnoxious image trying to intrigue the nations.
While your entire family goes under investigation.
There is no liberation.
Just a low rate politician wanting more recognition!

While everyone suffers, and the homeless community rises.
There is no immunity in your words.
People fly away from you, like a flock of birds.

Do you understand? How absurd?
We are discharging waste matter through your lies, and allegations.
As you're full of it ; standing by the ditch filling up the graves with Jews to persecute.

I don’t have the abbreviations for your biggety behavior; as you victim shame women. We were handed a great big lemon.

Stomping Ground

An ill tempered young woman who claims to love god but hates authority; yet she spews blunder and blasphemy in her painstaking state of gossip.

While I sit and listen to her menace like behavior; similar to a dictator rallying troops for a revengeful cause.

Her spiritual being announces a trumpet for the Roman empire as they persecute Jews in the time of change.

She seems indifferent yet coerced into an angry ill tempered young woman that mocks God but worships Idols in the time of Cesar.

Taking advantage of the weak.
Then she bows down and no longer speaks…..

Premium MemberBe Children of Your Heavenly Father - Matthew 5: 44-45

Being filled by the spirit of God
brings a love for those who oppose
as Christ had compassion for such
perfect love Jesus explicitly shows

To communicate with God on high
the way is opened by the avenue of prayer
this indeed is the Christians vital breath
on our knees before our Lord to share

This shows you're a child of God
one so loved by your heavenly father
bidding you to come and be saved
under His care together you will gather

According to the Lord's providential grace
causing His sun and rain being His creation
to fall on all peoples of the earth
real beauty is seen for every occasion

In this scripture, Jesus spoke with authority
when conveying the sermon on the mount
To be children of your heavenly Father
believing in Jesus having no doubt

("But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your heavenly Father, for he makes his sun rise on the bad and good, and causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust.) Matthew 5: 44-45

The Struggle

HE STRUGGLE

Heated walls Suffocating air
Warm bed sheets
Soft, steaming pillow.
Prickly heat, Trickling sweat
Crossed midnight, exhausted body
The cock’s crow disturbed my rest
Need to rush to the field ,
For the day’s bread.
That’s the life of a poor man.
The rich have a life
Just contrary to it. How do you feel?

They hold one, a pot-belly.
Beer and whisky
Fatty special for a bulky body
Persecute the vehicle,
They often travel
Unlimited consumption
Air-conditioned bed rooms
Soft beds with fitting companions
Rich and poor, you need
Only six feet of soil.
What do you say?

Premium MemberMatthew 5:11

“Blessed are you, when people insult, persecute and falsely say all kinds of evil
against you, because of me”
God is merciful and loving, he forgives all of thee
Insults and hatred will never stop my prayer in this form
I pray you find peace brother, as you weather your storm
We will all lose our way from clip to clock
Regain your faith in the father and rejoin his flock
It is never too late to seek forgiveness and cleanse
Keep the Lord Jesus in your heart and make amends
Sometimes it comes very easy to point a finger and taunt
Maybe try some new words with a humble font
Forgiveness is for all, open your mind and catch
We’re the same you and I, we are all an equal match
