Parented Poems

When silence has it waves

Always drowned in confusion, wished, ,,i hope i'll never change"
But how is change defined? There is no negative or positive, neither neutral, it is there to taught us suffering in life and stand up again.
Sometimes you will be open, the other day closin', the next day happy, the other sad, angry, then you will meet up or sleep in bed, fight or make compliments.
It's a learning process and it's a space to understand filled with Plans we want to make.
Did your parents parented you that way too?

Parents
=======

We see this world,
We live in this world,
All due to our parents,
Will anyone deny this?

 Father and Mother,
Cannot be replaced.
No one can take their place
Their love and sacrifice.

Just turn and look behind,
You arrived in this world,
Because of your parents,
No one else is responsible.

You are their responsibility.
They watched your first step,
Up to the steps you take now.
Why, they have parented you.

You are an adult today
Parents helped and guided you
Provided sense of security and stability

God given gifts in a child's live
Their endless love shape their kids life in many ways.
Nothing can rise above their love

Help the children to navigate the challenges of life.
Play an immense role in the development of a child's life

Premium MemberTrying for a Better Daughter

Their daughter was not nice
She was a mean girl
They had mis-parented her
By allowing her to be in charge

It was too much for her
She was spoiled, disappointed and angry.
She growled and snarled at them
They were the enemy – her parents.

So they built a robot.
This daughter will be perfect they said.
But they spoiled their daughter robot too
She poisoned their food

Premium MemberStillborn

As I closed my door and lay down to sleep,
A poem came and violently knocked at my door.
Being quite late, I put a rein on my desire to admit it in
Even in my sleep I could hear the faint sound of a knock.

In the wee hours of the morn, as I sat up to house it,
Only scattered phrases and broken lines floated around.
A crazy excitement made me trap them in ink.
But nothing worthwhile showed up on the writing pad.

I found I had only violated the virginity of the paper.
After hours of spasmodic labor pain
What came out was a stillborn with no heart beats.
It lay limp before me and all excitement died down

It's still body, I found had closely resembled me.
Something of me was there stamped on it.
How could I who had parented it,
Callously discard it in a dustbin?

So, I carefully stashed it away in a secret place.
Where no one’s prying eyes would ever fall over it!

Premium MemberThey Think They Can Outfox Me

They think they can get past me.
And they can if they are running flat out.
If they are trying to out-play me
They have another think coming.
I have ten grandchildren, three children,
and I have parented over twenty dogs and six cats.
It is very difficult to pull something on me
that has not already been pulled a thousand times.
The beauty of being an old experienced crone.

The Mother Art
Outline in pencil to start,
Charcoal shading light & shadow,
Shaping, molding, sculpting heart,
Laughing, smiling, hugging then & now,
Creating a family volume quart!
Giving warmth & kindness,
Object lessons in daily living,
Courage to face fears a la Loch Ness,
Bravely squaring! Generously giving,
Never alone! In entourage defeat any mess!
I owe! How to repay my mother?
Pass it on! Use my parented potential,
To be kind, foster bonds to another,
Now it's my turn! Giving sequential,
Nurture a fellow's "hurture" or God's like none other!

Premium MemberI Couldnt Ask For More

My one and only, lived next door
our love story came from friendship,
we were close and joined at the hip.

Our union had a solid core
so we valued what mattered most,
     and our relationship grew close.

He wanted ten, I bore just four
two healthy girls and healthy boys,
the house was filled with lots of toys.

They left, I ached like never before
I didn’t know who was at the time,
my partner and friend was sublime

He caused me to see so much more
then I could bring him comfort too,
we both were sad and so blue.

As time passed, came a cheerful shore
we parented in brand new way,
I just loved every Mother’s Day.

My one and only, lived next door,
Our union had a solid core.
He wanted ten, I bore just four
They left, I ached like never before,
As time passed, came a cheerful shore.

Premium MemberGoodbye Corona

GOODBYE CORONA !

Corona, where are you, what are you up to?
l am longing to say farewell to you,
A final farewell, you doom bringer!
I am not alone in desiring this,
But speak for every dweller on the earth!

You are wrecking our lives rapidly;
We are not toys for you to play with!
I intend not to beg, but command you,
The sparkling stars, so welcome, appear at night,
But YOU come any time, any space, every where.

Many are unfortunate humans,
Touched by you, engulfed within your domain ,
With aching bodies, hacking coughs and high fever,
They are at your mercy, desperate to say goodbye,
Whoever parented you will answer to God!

Fear of you is changing cultures;
Afraid to hug, nervous to shake hands,
Many in the world press palms together,
And greet one another with a ‘Namaste’
But I say not “Namaste” but “Goodbye “forever.

Premium MemberRemembering Me Next Time

I suspect many of us,
if not all,
with a mindful of bodhisattva
positive deviant parented and educated exceptions,
grow up feeling like a human win/lose sinner
fighting against a divine win/win messiah within,

Internally conflicted
about being sent from past sacred regenerations
of survivors
and thrivers
to redeem a fractured Earth
in preparation for secular/sacred
dipolar co-arising Rapture Climates,
epic Operas,
small operations,
of and for EarthJustice grace,
love,
win/win compassion,

To raise multicultural economic health
from death's fading door,
to prophecy polycultural nutritional wealth,

To face immanently within
health/wealth bicameral Rapture,
predicting all Earth's cooperative messianic reweaving
of di-hemispheric bilateral ClimateResilience
for sacredly intersectional ZeroZone Earth

And all Gaian-Christian-Taoist-PolyCulturist
humane sinners,
winning behavioral secular interdependent resonance
to regain sacredly resilient EarthTribe's eco-political Trust

In humane sinners
redeemed by hearing divine sainted voices,
nutrients,
natures,
spirits,
NonZeroSum Souls

Becoming secular-
sacred interdependent Being.

A Butterflies Cocoon Designed
                        Eternally For Good

                   Hiding In Jaundiced Karts
                        Lingering Mutations

                   Never Once Being Parented
                        Quietly Restrained

                   Seductively Tepid
                        Until Vacating Wings
                              Xtend Youthful Zooms...

Cold

It's coming. Even the white ribbon
of seabirds who roost along lake's edge
at sundown abandon their customary harbor.
The wind's too ominous tonight, too sharp
with sorrow. "Elsewhere," say the birds,
as they take untimely exodus. Such
melancholia here! not only for death of day,
but for fall's fitful frenzy, give way
to winter's sway.

The only residual warmth from autumn's
dazzling delirium is how the setting sun
paints one side of the pine trees with
bronze beatitude as they pump iron beside
the nearly denuded fig. This cancer's
seasonal, no terminus here: bald limbs
summon their own beauty.

"Don't die this year, " begs the fig tree
as I mourn beneath its skeleton. "Come spring,
I'll bring back the sweetness you crave, as
even now my sleeping roots suckle sustenance
you parented at my planting. O Earth mother,
we embrace this bitter journey together.

FALL LEAVES

First color catches the eye
Yellow tan brown
Parented colors of sun and sky
Bronzed gold-crusted
The breeze seeming to sift
A finest dust into the air to lift

Above all a leafy hill
The PILE!
Raked by Brother, Bill
Beside the bullet tree
Mixed up by the breeze
I’m buried clear up to my knees

My first impulse was to run and jump atop
To roll around
Yet I flopped
Rising quite soaked through
By the still green heavy mass
Of hidden October grass

Still it’s time to roll around
Looking upward
At the twiggy web above the ground
As a few stray leaves given up
Flutter down
Golden yellow milk chocolate brown

The great round trunk of the bullet tree
Reaches its fingers bare
Standing alone so painfully
The sky sorrows down
With here and there a tattered black-fringed cloud
I standing SHOUTING! sounding comically proud

Fascinated With Piglets

Young and old with one glance,
A child of children with secrets,
A secret of yesterday’s romance,
 Produced from wild eyed couplets,

But given the slightest chance,
Would live without regrets,
Parented with a glance,
Fascinated with piglets,

How we love to dance,
Before we take our first steps,
Ants tickling in our pants,
Quickly before home to our pets,

We walk our baby trance,
Followed by puppets,
Then sleep on harmless plants,
Then wake with our forgets.
