Do they ever sit and wonder
How the clocks weep as they spin

While children pay for ancestral sin?

They fight for names carved into dust
For borders drawn in brittle trust
For myths and maps that time outlives
Yet take from those who have no more to give.

Palatable Unpalatability

Are my thoughts too loud,
Does the breeze of my breath graze your skin in the heat of summer?
And my hands cling too tightly that your palms sweat,

The Air Filled With Cries

The air filled with cries,
As people see, humanity dies.
Gaza bleeds and screams,
While the rest of the world dreams.

Seeing their condition; eyes filled with tears,
But they refused to give what's theirs.
For the only one they fear is God,
Giving them hope that His help is near.

Telling the world their faith is stronger.

Filtering through the empty broken balconies along the rivieras

Ashes of my olive grove

Baba would walk me through the olive groves,
