Shagged in the back of a shotgun shack
at night by moonlight
peeping past curtains of burlap sack
such a sore sight
surrounded by fields of green
willing as she'd been
tho' torn
she surely wasn't about to be seen
with a child out of wedlock born
so with a bun in the oven
she had her Dad invite he
who did the dirty deed
and plant the seed
the Father-to-be
down south way out on the steading
to shape up show up and in the end
attend a shotgun wedding

I’m at the age where
I’ve grown really long hair
And I don’t denim care
That the trend is to cut it
No longer wearing high heels
Just for a flex or a thrill
More about how my feet feel
And they don’t love it
I don’t have many pink plans
Flying by seat of peach pants
Keeping my praying hands
I am blessed with contentment
Becoming a red recluse
Enjoying sandy solitude
Embracing my various moods
Without any raspberry resentment
I wonder of me what they say
Am I now an old onyx maid
Because there’s no wedding day
It tickles me pink to think
That my out of wedlock birth
Gave my life priceless worth
Despite sermon of online church
I entertain purple pondering

Music moves your whole being
Today, my day is gray
I lost someone very special
Hearing sad songs is a recollection
To this love one who's dear to me
We once separated due to fragile emotion
We were young then when we're in love
She was young and beautiful and is tempting
A third party cause our separation
We had a daughter out of wedlock
But love is strong she was truth with marriage
I work abroad to forget my past sad love
Loneliness marries me late at 30's
Life was hard but still manageable
I had forget her till our teen age daughter
Appear to me by coincidence through Facebook
We met to tell me sad story the passing of her mother
There was a scar in my heart still linger her
For she was part of my life once tender and true
But fate is playful sometimes you can't avoid
I am at peace now, praying God to accept her soul
Through music is a healing tool for me
To go on the next chapter of my life
Whatever happens life must go on.

Beyond Reach
Conceived out of wedlock to a stranger or betrothed.
Hidden from familiar voice.
Stress makes you kick and squirm.
Afraid of what's to come in…
out of the light.
Sadness felt through the navel.
Water droplets echo like a dripping faucet in your cell(s)…tears.
Wishing you were bigger and stronger to escape like your mother.
In a prison awaiting your death sentence.
The ultimate secret are you,
to keep the faithful from leaving.
No vote…
No voice…
No choice…
Just a cry in the dark.

THE WAGE OF SIN.
What' should I call this?
Fortune or misfortune?
The fate of my curiosity.
Akin to that of the cat.
A child a blessing from God.
But this seem not to be.
A child out of wedlock!
A bastard they'll call.
My peers have forsaken me.
My mama I opted for.
The worst she has done to me.
She disowned me.
A salt that has lost it saltiness I'm.
What's the remedy to this.
An abortion is a sin, they say.
Leathal as well.
Enough caveats I got,
But I defied,
This grave I dug myself,
Surely I must lie in it.
My dreams shattered down.
Out of school I'm
The star that was about to shine.
Is turning dim daily.

A long time ago,
When innocence was part of life;
Where love resided in many hearts,
And happiness was rife.
A long time ago,
When sixteen he was and slim,
Handsome and polite,
The virgin girl cried for him.
A long time ago
When lovemaking was in circumstance,
Babies born out of wedlock were few
And kissing was the main part of romance.
A long time ago,
That was many many years ago,
Life was simple and sacred,
And many hearts love did bestow.

“Dysfunctionality”
When you pulled that gun
My life it was erased
Felt like a blank piece of paper, no face
I had become a woman in front of your eyes
I had no more tears to cry
I refused to lay down and slowly die
I got up cleaned myself off
I had to learn to ride life as if I was learning to ride a wild horse
No one to help me take control
No one to run to no one to hold
Like a used piece of paper, I would not crumble and fold
My back was strong, I endured the pain far too long
An accidental baby was born
That beat child was now gone
I had to be a multi-tasker
I refused to be labeled an unwanted bastard
I was chosen to be an out of wedlock child, scorned by others, but still I smiled
I had a love-hate relationship with you
It manifested through the years of abuse
To hate you was no excuse, but to forgive you I do!

Humanity has banned swearing
i don't know what the coitus to do
Stubbed my toe
Blancmange does not seem to do the trick
The mammary gland in my work
such a coituser too
This plaster born out of wedlock
Doesn't give a phytoplanton
Manures hit the fan
Cannot understand
Nobody tries
Even beneath the gentleness of words
the truth sometimes lies

The curse, the lethargy,
conceived out of wedlock Dawn and Day,
the mother-in-law of the race of the Ogres,
the tub filled with toads, vipers and snakes,
the cohabitant who always stays out -
here's a partial list of the problems
that await the true princesses,
whereas a dreamless sleep is a soteriological ideal of any Buddhist.
Bent over the beautiful princess,
I feel a pang of mercy,
and, rising from my knees, get out of here -
by little Mopsey, the Princess's spaniel, which is lying on the bed,
by the hypothetical fire upon the hearth,
by the doormen in whose cups wine turned into mold long ago
and beyond,
through the wayless wood of existence,
which is not a problem for my ladylove anymore.
As Charles Perrault rightly stated:
“Thorns part before a royal blood only”.

Whom one to blame?
Is it our upbringing?
Or society setting?
Who to blame?
Immorality is relative,
Our daughters are dumb,
They deviate from teachings.
Who to blame?
They conceive accidentally,
Sadly out of wedlock,
Wonderful in a small age.
Who to blame?
Abortion is relative,
Infants are thrown to the wells,
Indeed they curse our societies.
Who to blame?

life is hard, have lived up to this day and i know so much about it.
i was born out of wedlock and my dad wanted nothing of me and then my real problem began.
i have no friends it like i waz seperated from the rest of the world.
it me and myself against the world.
i tried to find love but none finds me back.
i search harder i got hate in return.
so i was thinking maybe i should leave town for a little while, maybe when they notice my absence they will miss it or not even noticed.
am just trying to be a better person.

Rape will always be rape, be it 'stranger' or 'friend, '
Be it soldier or priest; it is still about shame!
Just a dollop of power and perps seek the weak,
And their purpose is always to sully one's name.
Dreams of rape invite prey to be victim no more,
For the weak ones "recovered," now bring others pain,
True, some scapegoats get punished, the few who get caught,
But the truth is quite simple; our species not sane!
Rape's no longer just physical, now social norm,
Every bride that sells self or sold, womb's meant for birth,
While society screws hapless men sent to war,
Robbing all souls of empathy, scourging the earth.
Anyone claiming they're 'untouched' likely a liar,
Be you son or a daughter; there's price to be paid.
A child born out of wedlock has bastard for dad,
But there's never a winner in such escapade.
It's no wonder some leaders look like Donald Trump,
The high priest of the angry, he laughs at their trust,
Likely raped by his family, wanting revenge?
The psychotic just laugh, need no psychiatrist.

The other Church
Kai - Pembrokeshire
Way back beyond the crested waves that spill the ocean
‘Church Rock’ towers with puffins and seagulls singing
the tune of nature how many times have I prayed to God
Tai - Southbroom
When times are rough she takes the image and sits on
the rocks in silent meditation where the tussle of spray
paints her sorrows with birdsong and healing embrace
When the surf had taken me below rocks and foundations
I asked to help out at the soup kitchen to lighten my load
emerge from darkness but ‘sorry we do not need you here'
When she had her first child out of wedlock the pastor
said ‘you are evil this must be Satan’s child’ and again
there was no meagre space at the inn for illegitimate joy
The Buddha rocked me gently into a cumbersome slumber
and Tai was embraced by the Jewish community and showered
with food and clothes for the miracle child starred with David
Tai and Kai – the Universe
There is love beyond borders and the sky is the limit the waters
flow freely from source to the sea and when hypocrisy beckons
there is elsewhere a church called kindness compassion and love

CYRUS "THE VIRUS" IS EVERYWHERE.
WREAKING HAVOC WITHOUT ANY CARE.
BORN OUT OF WEDLOCK BETWEEN SLIME AND MOLD.
MORPHS HIS WAY THROUGH LIFE I'M TOLD.
BIRDS AND PLANTS, TREES AND PEOPLE.
HIS GOAL IN LIFE IS TO TURN ALL INTO FECAL.
WICKEDLY MEAN, TREACHEROUS DISEASE.
TRAVELS THE WORLD AND DO AS HE PLEASE.
HE'LL INFECT A NATION AND THEN HE'LL FLEE.
APPEAR SOMEWHERE ELSE AS A TICK OR A BEE.
MASTER OF DISGUISE, MANY DIFFERENT FACES.
ALL OVER THE WORLD IN ODD AND STRANGE PLACES.
HOT ON HIS HEELS IS THE WORLD CDC.
THEY CAN'T UNDERSTAND AND ASK HOW CAN THIS BE.
HE CONTAMINATES WATER, INFECTS YOUR MIND.
DON'T TURN YOUR BACK, HE'LL INFECT YOUR BEHIND.
HE THINKS IT'S A JOKE.
TO HIM IT'S A GAME.
HE EVEN APPEARED IN THE FORM ACID RAIN.
CDC, WILL CATCH HIM ONE DAY.
UNTIL THAT TIME COMES, HE'LL HAVE HIS OWN WAY.
THEY'LL CATCH HIM ONE DAY AND BOTTLE HIM TIGHT.
THAT SHOULD SUFFICE AND SERVE HIS CRIMES RIGHT.

Born out of wedlock
she gave up her baby girl
for quick adoption.
Twice married since, old and frail,
she laments her childless life.
