Oh Dear Alien Away Out There

Oh Dear Alien, I hear you've been, 
   buzzing me in recent days.
With flying saucers and drones,
   scooping down here in droves.

Well I for one would love
   you to come, and land for me,
To swoop me off my feet,
   up into your cool dude craft.

Dropping a line to aliens out there

Hello, out there!
Earth here,
how'd you be?
Just dropping a line
to tell you about
us earthlings,
I guess that's what
you'd call us,
if your telescope
things could see us standing here
looking up at you.
We're the Blue Planet, one of eight,
orbiting our yellow-dwarf star in
the milky way, sending all sorts
of electronic beams out 
that you can probably hear and get annoyed by.

Skating upon Saturn's rings, on the outskirts of gold,
executing my double axel, in the brisk, season of cold.

It is sheer absurd arrogance
To only look way out there in the Universe

IT'S FOGGY OUT THERE

I awoke to a blanket of fog covering the mountains this morning
as I walked outside I was cautious not to make a peep
I told the Earth it’s early…go ahead and let her mountains sleep.
