Oncoming Poems - Poems about Oncoming

Oncoming

The oncoming

So also, is the thinking of the enemy.
Millions of people will be killed and nature already
Devasted will collapse too.
It appears to me that the coming tragedy is ordained
That unknown forces will make it this way, it is uncanny
That we blithely walk around with no care in the world
As the Damocles sword has loosened
...

The Oncoming

The oncoming

The human tragedy is not to learn from the past
The world is in an uproar a nuclear war is coming
The belief is by using a smaller bomb it will not be so bad
So also, is the thinking of the enemy.
Millions of people will be killed and nature already
Devasted will collapse too.
It appears to

Got abdominal pains, could mean a poop
Take heed or you'll soon be poopin' in your suit

Splashed In the Oncoming Current

her heart was galloping like a horse
i could feel without touching
i listened to her chest unaided
she was anxious yet happy
alarmed yet content
i could hear the words
the endearments
unsaid

the mountains were moving
with a sigh of relief
softly
divine music flowed like
a river
stillness of the lake
invigorate
throws me into a sudden
ecstacy
voluptuously
i couldnt hold any longer
i couldnt wait any further
i couldnt resist

Onto Oncoming Traffic

“I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living.”
- Dr. Seuss

Beams dim...beams bright
Headlights...too dark headlights!
Tyres screeching...eyes screaming terror’s thread
Sirens wailing a deafening... ‘Life’s under threat!’

A high speed chase onto one way traffic
Bells ringing...the crash paints chaos too graphic
Hurry, hurry...ambulance on the double!
On_off surviving grizzly-like-troubles

Fireman down the sliding

Premium MemberThe Oncoming Rain

Good morning my Sweetheart
Although you’ve got nothing to gain
Your love is as pure as the imminent oncoming rain
Wipe sleep from your wakening eyes
And prepare for the oncoming day
With needles and diets and timetables
No respite nor no time to delay

From pains in your tummy
And bloods taken throughout the night
I wonder at all how you manage

Oncoming Storm

I watched the storm come in.
Grey clouds swirled before me
the wrath of the gods
fell upon the humans.
Grey gave way to black
and lightning lit the darkness.
I watched the tempest
moving in from nowhere
become everywhere.
Rain fell,
light at first
but soon, it poured.
The rage of mother nature
the anger of the gods
all rolled into wispy puffs
of gray black matter.
It overtook

Ode To An Oncoming Spring

Few hearts now weep to see you go
O cold harsh naked winter
The last icy tremor of your merciless winds
Fizzling through the choked air
Leaves it's thinning threads in
The oncoming fairyland of Spring.
Winter have you gone, answer me?
A refreshing winter you have been
But how we have longed for your departure
Away away and bury yourself, O harsh

Oncoming Train

light in the distance stutters and winks
disappears.
there again. brighter.
closer.

the ground rumbles beneath my feet
vibration in perfect symphony with
the rattling disorder in my head

untethered
brightly colored balloon drifting
willy nilly taken by random winds
free
falling
apart

lovely approaching light, angel bright
blister blight, hug me tight
just right, nighty night
put out the light
sleep tight

beneath the wheels
...
