Premium MemberA New Idea

It’s a brand new big idea
The banned country of such size
So I want to make it clear
Either way it looks unwise
Wasn’t Germany at war
In Bach’s time, and wasn’t France
Fighting England till the score
Levelled up by circumstance
But they never used to ban
Scholars travelled, merchants traded
Painters painted, music men
Wrote their stuff while the crusaders
Fought their sacred wars whatever
The high goal was pursued then
But it didn’t seem too clever
In the past, to put a ban
There’s no other meaning to it
But revenge, to make the foe
More outrageous, and they knew it
Now it's what the wars are for.

MY ADDED VERSUS:
Bows on solemn flower blooms
and scented layers of flared perfume
flow down rows of headstones and tombs.
I've looked at death that way.

But now I tend to ask God why
people visit and freshly cry.
We all know when loved ones die
they rise on His stairway.

I've looked at death from both sides now
from heart to soul and creased my brow.
It's cemeteries I recall.
I really don't know death at all.

Babes and Moms know love far beyond
the reasons seasoning their bond.
Loving a child is blessing dawned.
I've looked at fair that way.

But I live with maternal pain.
My childhood baby dreams met stain.
Now I'm thunder in my son's rain.
Won't give my sadness sway.

I've looked at fair from both sides now
from deep held faith and still somehow
it's his special needs I recall.
I really don't know fair at all.

Brasca Fronts Palace

In Twenty Fourty Six a group of men
hacked into a bible printing companies
computer
gaining access to the revisions
in the new book.
They removed copied and placed new sections of
the script.
People thought it was a joke at first
until they found it had been planned as a script for interputations
meaning the reader would find translations
and define the text reveealing
where and when to
donate and tgift properties to peoples.
It was said to have been an international event.
It was clever and geniues
in that only certain books where changed
and enough where printed
to where the Governor of Guam made a statement after
a wealthy woman donated her billions to a student on
the island.

Summer, So Long For Now

Summer came and went too fast, but I still had a blast!
I wish this warm weather could last forever.
Feeling the sun's rays during these lazy days;
Taking a dip in the pool to keep ourselves cool;
Kids all scream for delicious ice cream.
Dancing to the music; drinking water when it's humid;
No need to brag when you got swag!
Going on nightly strolls: Call me butter cause I'm on a roll.
Playing video games with friends:
Why did summer have to end?
Now it's time for fall, y'all,
And Back to School season after all.
So Summer, I bid you so long for now;
As cooler temperatures return, take a bow.
I can't wait to do it again!
See you next year until then.

Premium MemberThe Time is Now

"Get out the way! Ol' Dan Tucker.
You're too late to get your supper."
That's what my turntable had to say.
I was a kid. Dad was a trucker.
He blasted the sound, took an upper,
Sang, "Sha la la la la la live for today".
The girl next door had a naughty plan.
She wore a smile that said, "let's play".
The time is now.  Don't interrup' 'er.
From that wisdom, so much good began -
Seize the day!

Premium MemberThat was Then, This is Now

Turn up the radio and ...
It's the same ol' situation,
The same songs, same band
That raised my generation

That was then, this is now
Nothing's changed but my age,
And four numbers, somehow
On a calendar's page ...

It happened again today
In the store where I shopped,
In the restaurant, I heard it play
Proving the 80's never stopped

That was then, this is now
O, to revive a faded fad,
If we never forget how
Good times can still be had

Life, like a cassette tape
With two sides, was designed,
From Side A, Side B can't escape
If you just press rewind ...

Thisandineam speak of now

Chocolate bourbon sweet potatoes pie with honey and gramhan crackers in the crust!
A myth! Witches and Chalteons! He proclaimed. Than one said of the witches renderings of
a pork belly and turkey groundation! He called her unholy and uncaring.Might the people of now respect those of then! What respect comes in doubt ;that each who wishes not to support;prejudgment supports those in opposition. Ode to neither, and support of peace that might and power only speaks of the servers of the pkate'! Each plate differs, but for one to comply, he must render the ignorance of a uncertain future.stumble in the grass to fall. That she has boobytrapped the edges. Stand tall in your swell Ng that even your opposition understand your grips.

Dezentaine the Prophet

Now and Then

With the help of new technology,
We’re privileged again
To have a brand-new Beatles song
Entitled “Now and Then.”

Though, sadly, John and George are gone,
Their vocals are alive
And tapes of their guitar finesse
Have managed to survive.

Combining those with Paul and Ringo
Singing and on drums,
A song has been created
Which, with video, becomes

A wistful and nostalgic visit
To those magic years
When the Beatles made their music
As we followed their careers.

Not five minutes is required
To relive an era when
We were young and found the Beatles,
Unaware that now was then.

I was a young 15 year old boy
when Joni Mitchell wrote and Judy Collins sang ‘Both Sides Now’.
Their song has enjoyed a long and illustrious ride…
Now, as a 70 year old man, I realize…I have looked at life from both sides.

I’ve looked at life through the eyes of a child
surrounded by music and art….
a life where everything was new, and wondrous and beautiful…
where I saw only with my heart.

I’ve looked at life through the eyes of a man
no longer that chid…pure, and innocent and carefree….
where sometimes clouds would block my vision
and make it difficult for my heart to see

I have looked at life from both sides now
with innocent eyes and when clouds enshroud my heart
and I have learned just beyond the clouds…
life is filled with wonder…and beauty..and art.

Which, now that I am older, leads me to behold:
If our heart sees that beauty when we’re innocent and young
and again despite the clouds when are more experienced and old.

Think of the beauty we could create…
a life filled with wonder and beauty and art…
If we could only see beyond the clouds…
between our younger and older heart.

Now That I Am Here

gonna take a little break
drive somewhere nice
spend a little time
not thinking about time

gonna buy a few hot dogs
order some beer battered onion rings
wash it down with a blue cream soda
while watching a pretty lady walk

gonna walk towards the water
enjoy the beauty of the view
listen to some old beach music
and destress buy simply letting myself go

Premium MemberApologize To the Platters Now

Only poo can make this world seem bright
Only poo can make what's heavy light
Only poo and poo alone can thrill me to the bone
So I fill my toilet to the brim with poo.

Premium MemberReborn Here Now Without Baggage

Reborn here now without baggage
This is the place God has given
Working so hope gives a challenge
To those who have been forgiven

Music breathes joy into the hearts
Reborn here now without baggage
Shining a light that shows remorse
For those times we took advantage

Our dreams are sent here to salvage
The kindness that brings a true peace
Reborn here now without baggage
Giving my soul this sweet release

In hues of grace poured over souls
Promising wonders will manage
To bring love and faith that controls
Reborn here now without baggage

Premium MemberWorship Now, For Friends In Christ

Worship Poem Now
(For my brothers & sisters in Christ)

In this bursting hour,
I find that words refuse
Both to set or cling to the paper;
Instead, I must patiently
Capture them
As they ride the streaks —
Like light on rays...
But unseen, completely
Sensed...an energy in the joining
Of my soul with the Holy Spirit —
Streams of gifted Grace
Dance
The glorifying of our most
Holy King
In a radiating Love between us.
My worshipping soul
Climbs beyond feelings, to
Realizing
As these moments joyfully linger,
Rippling an inner music
In communion with Christ.
The Awe...expanding...
Reaping his present Peace

Sing We Now of Christmas

Sing we now of Christmas the faithful come – angels sing -
Drummer boy on bended knee before the winter rose now blooming;

Sing we now of Christmas with masters of the hall –
God rest ye merry gentlemen and herald angels all;

Sing we now of Christmas in silent little Bethlehem town
Wondering what child is this when morning bells abound;

Sing we now of Christmas – Noel, Noel - the first Noel -
As once in royal David’s city with friendly beasts the story tell;

Sing we now of Christmas for a star up in the sky
Shepherds as they watched their flocks – three kings marching by.

Sing we now of Christmas on holy nights and midnights clear
The Christ child in a manger stall – joy to the world far and near;
