Pain sat in my chest all winter.
I tore it open—
primrose petals burst from my rib cage.
I no longer need to protect my big but open heart.
I am fully open to this impassioning new start.
I am finally blessed with someone to love like they are art.
The Unmoored Ship
I waltz through the ship,
Yet not dancing like the eerie drizzle in my mind,
While footprints dissolve into the quiet embrace of the deck.
The laborers pace back and forth,
Hauling their burdens—
Just like me, struggling to steady my steps,
Misaligned with my thoughts.
I beg the tranquil wind
Not to whisper my prophecy to the sky,
But the sky knows—
My heart is rumbling, just like the restless waves below,
Ready to make the ship quiver with an untold feeling.
Just as I thought this feeling would fade,
At the edge of the deck, I saw a beautiful stranger lit from within,
Glowing through every inch of the deck,
Piercing my heart on the verge of darkness.
The way the rainbow shimmered in his eyes
Made me realize—
I wanted to love my life again.
A slight white glow ahead,
The end is in sight.
It's Dark fighting Light,
Day chasing away night.
Can you feel it?
The condition's just right.
There's a battle brewing,
One we all must fight.
All the distractions,
Have dimmed our light.
The Darkness came,
Spreading its blight.
Leaving the people,
In a state of fright.
The damage was done,
We must move on despite.
Forgiveness the key,
You can have it tonight.
Unconditional love,
Gives you the might.
Your Spark,
Your Knight,
It's there to ignite.
Reunite with your flame,
Here's your invite.
Let that Spirit burn bright.
Escape,
Take flight.
Stand Upright,
Be polite,
Find a prayer to recite.
And let Love excite you,
Through the words I Write.
A slight white glow,
The end is in sight.
Can you feel it,
The condition's just right.
There's a battle brewing,
One we all must fight.
All of the distractions,
Have dimmed our light.
The darkness came,
Spreading it's blight.
Leaving it's people,
In a state of fright.
The damage was done,
We must move on despite.
Forgiveness, the key,
You can have it tonight.
Unconditional love,
That gives you the might.
Your spark, your knight,
Your flame to ignite.
Let that Spirit burn bright,
It's time to reunite,
Here's your invite.
Escape, take flight,
Be polite,
Stand upright,
Find a prayer to recite,
We will win this fight.
As my love excites you,
Through the words I write.
Needing a change
Empowering year
Winning green gains
Banishing black fear
Emerald eyes
Glowing from tears
Indigo times
Neon night near
No lack of passion
Interior hopes
Good old fashioned led by Holy Ghost
I waited within the gaze of darkness
I found you there,
A midnight sun blazing on my internal horizon
Illuminating the contours of my inner world
Quenching my arid soul like a desert oasis
Your hand in mine,
A granite foundation solidifying my core
Blasting through the concrete barriers of my heart
A golden glow as radiant as the dawn's first rays
A shimmering reflection that transmits
From the depths of your crystal blue eyes
The deepest love, as vast as the cerulean skies
An empowering revival like the fiercest ocean tide
A rush that pours like the crashing of a waterfall
Fulfilling the depths of my once wounded soul
The horizon breaks with the rising sun,
Color’s so bright the new day has begun.
I feel the Lords breath as a gentle breeze,
I hear His voice through the rustling leaves.
Consumed with love the Lord is within,
as I reach out and walk with Him.
My journey has just begun lifting my spirits high,
He takes me where the eagles fly.
Filling me full of peace each and every day
I will trust in the Lord to show me His way.
Marilyn, Thank you for introducing me to the Lord! (08/2002)
Christmas yet a month away,
our five year old already
buttering-up the spirit --
just in case God don't
hear it, he runs gifts by dad
and mom, is beginning to
sense a sleigh connection --
Of course, mom and dad
instead of great wealth,
pray for divine protection,
a share of good health;
pray for world peace, that all
awakened soul's continue to
seek ever higher enlightened
worth~
With Christ, a greater sense of kinship
humanity's precious rebirth....
Abused by devotion
Broken from belief
She try to flee
From her miserable fate
Yet,
She end upon the same misty road
Thereby,
Rehearsing the same character
On a stage designed by others
Thereby,
Being praised by same audience
Who are the epitome of hypocrisy
Though,
She flawlessly flaunt her talent of being
A person without any own identity
Though,
She silently bear the pain and wrath by
Loving other relentlessly without being loved.
As she wonder the answers for,
"What her deathbed would like be?"
"To whom her earnest prayer will be addressed for?"
She find herself being trapped in an abyss
Where her pleasant memories console her
For the life sacrificed
As her death hail "The new beginning",
"An era that only belongs to her."
Like shapes new that form from uneven clay,
mind greets thoughts anew that evoke delight;
hope revives for a fresh start every day,
like shapes new that form from uneven clay.
Positive vibes open doors to make way
for graceful acts creative sparks ignite.
Like shapes new that form from uneven clay,
mind greets thoughts anew that evoke delight.
Like shapes new that form from uneven clay,
hope revives for a fresh start every day.
Positive vibes open doors to make way
for graceful acts creative sparks ignite.
Mind greets thoughts anew that evoke delight
as sunflower welcomes dawn’s first ray bright.
The conflict of the ages past
has come to a grim end at last.
Satan’s host in the final clash
with Christ, God’s Son, is burnt to ash.
Before the host received their due
they declared God was just and true.
His Son chose death to give them life,
They chose a life, of sin and strife.
The fire that destroyed Satan’s host,
cleansed the old earth from coast to coast.
It paved the way for God to make
a new earth in the old earth’s wake.
The earth restored, with Eden’s sod,
will host the New City of God.
The saved of earth, will in it dwell,
their praise to God, like waves would swell.
'Tis a new morn
Twenty-four hours given
An older, mature woman who is still perfecting in life
Has this time allotted ~
Will she have the full twenty-four?
Dear Lord,
For each day granted
I only have so much energy
Help me to see what the best way is to use that energy
Oh!! I surrender this day to you
Praise be to God and Jesus
My Beloved Child
Stand up straight and tall
Tell yourself you are loved
And I(God) will be with you
Through it all
This stage of your life will pass
Stay calm, keep the faith
Enjoy this new day
'Tis a new beginning
Amen
HOLDING HANDS
Together we held hands throughout the years
And made sure we could hear each other’s breath.
I was completely loved from toes to ears
And still am, though she passed through dark and death.
I love her still though I can’t feel her hand
(Except sometimes, I think I really do!)
She is my darling – I await the sand
That falls and will one day take me off, too.
But now, for now, I’ll seek another wife,
In seven years, the Peace I’ve found is rich.
I still have Joy in me and, filled with life
Love waits for me in some bright, lighted niche
Perhaps just like a living statue there
I’ll find a Golden Heart with Raven Hair...
"Four"
Four
With that word, the world came to an end
In flames of nuclear power
That man did send
Death
Swept through Eastasia and Eurasia
The scale was tipped by one last breath
Oceania’s
Pride
Three
Three giants threw spears at each other
A scorching war destined to be
And Big Brother
Died
Nuclear sunlight beamed through cracked glass
Waking up the proles, who soon cried
Seeing the grass
Two
Two strayed partners, ready to relive
The proles, the remade Eden due
One choice to live
