with each crest of a wave
forming white crystal peaks
she weeps, inhales, let's go.

beneath a star studded vista
a resplendent guiding light
arms open, palms up, she is free.

the soothing sea winds
carrying away her grief and sorrow
hands posed in devotion, she smiles.

in a seascape of serenity
her baptism place of choice
she steps forward, her new beginning.

Premium Member New Year- a New Beginning

I open my door to a brand new year,
and take a first step with jubilant glee;
a new beginning- want to jump and cheer!
Of all past luggage I plan to be free,
as blissful as a song bird in a tree;
as buzzing joyfully as a spring bee.

Snowflakes are falling to caress and kiss,
on a park pond ducks still drift, oh delight;
I am joyful for a scene such as this!
When I let nature inside it feels right,
whether it be summer or frozen white;.
even if spring or fall- or day, or night.

With my new year energy I am thrilled,
I plan to smile, to laugh, and with joy sing;
gloating - resolutions will be fulfilled!
I am in rapture over the whole thing,
to this fun awesome journey I will cling;
even, when sad sorrow threatens my wing.

I will rise above all weeping sadness,
and will be full of jubilant madness.

willows weeping
white doves wail
wild wind blowing
black clouds sail

broken dreams
torn and tattered
tomorrows hopes now
trashed and shattered

dying love
don't give up
pray to god
and be tough

Your Blank Page and a New Beginning

We all have a blank page
We have a story that we are writing and
Starting over is a gift so do not fear a new beginning!
There is always a cure in life
So remember that you can thrive in the season of despair!
Clearly, we know that life is not fair
But will you dare to stand in the mist and
Persist with the glory of your story!
History shows us the commonality of life
So take the knife of joy and cut away the fear!

The element of change is to keep your destiny alive
Life will rearrange itself
Because you must be kept on track!
Your life will inevitably change
Bringing on the reality that every man and woman
Will attend the academy of transformation!
The anatomy of a season will spring forth new life in your heart and
Darkness will appear as light and night as day
So start over and do not fear a new beginning!

Rain's drizzling from forest canopies,
Evening sun peeking through leaves,
Flowers rising from decaying hues
Amid the woods tangled and untidy.

Shadows are dancing unknowingly
Whispering evening wind songs,
To the music of a distant waterfall.

They witnessed my arrival
With a cautious screech and roar,
A suspecting growl, and buzz.
It was the elephants' trumpeting
That made chimpanzees scream.

In the wilderness of dissonance
I'm seeking peace and harmony.
Moon is emerging from darkened hues,
A shiny star is peering through.

A starry night guides my path,
Silently contemplating, traversing
The mountains of nothingness;
Meditating to exit solitude,
Looking for the glorious morning sun.

Magical palace where you dream
The arrival of a new world
Worshipping serendipity,
Drowned in agony, swallowing reality.

The fog of misery has vanished
Disappearing like the morning mist.
Birds are singing morning songs,
Rising horizon signals a new beginning.

The Blessings of a New Beginning

In opposition to social injustice
Colin Kapernick took a knee
To bring national attention to
Black American police brutality
But an unexpected result was
Eventually affected
Colin was black balled
From the NFL he was rejected
But what most people can't seem
To simply comprehend
Is that God will always cover and
Look out for His children

Uncertain of what his future
Would be
Unsure of how to earn a salary
But the blessings of a new beginning
For Colin did arise
He received an endorsement
From Nike and from Harvard
A prestigious prize

Don't allow society to ever box you in
And don't accept anyone telling you
You don't have what it takes to win
For when God designed you
It wasn't to be one dimensional
You're more than linear
You're multi- purposeful
For God's turning power
Can rotate 180° degrees
God's turning power
Has omnipotency

Endurance during transition
God wants us to stay true
And cleave to our convictions
No matter what we have to go through
And yes there will be some heartache,
Tragedy and pain
There will be metaphorical tornadoes
Hurricanes and torrential rain
But out of the carnage
A blessing will emerge
As God needs to get our attention
So He stages a purge
In order for a new beginning
To now take place
As a reminder of His
Infinite power, mercy and grace

Just don't take for granted
All that God has given to you
As answered prayers and actualized
Possessions aren't your due
So put your pride to the side
And don't ever forget
That you didn't give life to yourself
It was God's Holy Spirit
Yes there are somethings
Of which which you have no control
Just don't create situations
That can cause you to lose your soul
And most of all allow nothing
To separate you from God
In the midst of your chaos
Keep Him in your heart
As divine activities always
Manifest in the dark of night
Just hold on, keep praying
For the morning brings
A new beginning with its light

Yes the blessings of a new beginning
Will surely come
As only God can turn it around
When all is said and done

My End Is Your New Beginning

And then in midst of summer's lore
I sang a tune of hail and gloom
Of dark and light and so much more
Of pain and sorrow, and of plume

Oh, darling, you walk through a muddy bog
But my sweet, I can't save you now
Still, I promise I won't let you sog
We both know it won't be long now

Till you give up your gloomy heart
And let someone in one more time
Till you forget all about that part
That part of your heart you saved for summertime

Sweetheart, though I've met my end
Just know you can find love again

Premium Member In Times Like These

The farther we move the closer we get,
The distance between is a measure of love,
Bad memories of the past, you two forget,
New memories to create from here and now!

The mind was glued to things of irrelevance,
The office work and petty human politics,
The lockdown has been of great benevolence,
Cementing of love and elimination of conflicts.

The dark tunnel called the civilised world,
Was blinded with gimmick that were never needed,
So harsh in our words, in relationships cold,
Words of reason and wisdom went unheeded!

In the tormenting floods of viral disease,
Breathless, drowning, dying, many survived,
May the education remain when flood recedes,
In light of experience, let good values be revived.

In times like these your wisdom is your angel,
Guiding you past the rough terrains of fate,
A voice of hope, a post for eternal vigil,
It redirects your life by opening a new gate.

Snow
Falling
Like feathers
So soft and white
Lying on the ground
Covering old footprints
Muddied paths best forgotten
Replaced by the beauty of now
A clean slate for you to walk upon
A new world that awaits your tomorrow

my Lord beaten profusely about the head and shoulders each
blow more devastating than its predecessor until
thine eyes rendered nystagmus.

the strain of the world’s sin sowed predominately thy
soul in sorrow in the physical strain of the torture of
thy darkest hour.

A New Beginning

Like the warmth of the morning sun

so do thoughts of you embrace me

revealing how alive I am.

A glorious light of the new day,

so is your presence in my life,

relieving it of its shadows,

and marking the start of a new beginning.

To a New Beginning

Such a start of a new journey
To the excitement of burning love
To the thrill of awaiting adventures
We cheered to moments of sweet whispers

To the late night stops by the gas stations
To all the road trips and few hours of sleeps
To the fireworks of how young the nights were
We cheered to the moments the time froze

To the days we yearned for each others hugs
To the cold nights we hoped for each others warmth
To the memory we longed to travel back to
We teared to each others lost promises

To when our dreams travelled too far
To a land where words don't mean anymore
To where we left our echoed voices
To a land where we once stood
We cheered to a new beginning.

A
new day
is dawning -
a blank canvas
awaits as sins of
the past are forgiven.
Awake my soul and rejoice,
God's mercies are new every
morning. I will embrace this day with
open arms - a gift from my Creator.
