Never Look Back Poems | Examples

Never Look Back

Hairy tales that make you gasp
at night when you’re alone,
lost in the mist and murky
light, far, so far from home.
Loud and harsh the scary sounds,
over the walls, blasts abound, to
wreck your ears and curl your toes;
elves and goblins spread their woes.
Escape you must, flee with fear,
never look back, Halloween is here.

Never Look Back

Keep looking forward and
never look back.

Your past is in the past.

Don't let things you went
through define you.

Be the best you that you
can be right now.

You can't dwell on the past
you just have to learn from
your mistakes and move
forward.

Keep looking forward and
never look back.

God didn't look at your
past, so why should you

So many people get caught
up living in the past and can't
seem to grab a hold on the
future.

Stop crying over spilled milk.
All you have to do is clean it up
and move on.

Don't look at your past because
God isn't looking at it.

Just be the best you that you
can be right now

And the best way to do that is
to keep looking forward and
never look back.

Never Look Back

Never Look Back

It was the poverty of vision that got to me, the drabness of moving
from one home to another. I wanted sunlight, not the dim light that
shines from a basement`s kitchen window.
Fled, sought other shores.
I was not able to escape the ghost of the past; letters went unanswered.
The uncle of many children and a father of no one
I should have stayed fought my corner from the base of the beginning.
It is a sunny day where I live, up North snow falls, I feel a deep sadness
of the coward, yet have no regrets

Never Look Back

you are a shining star
we came to far
don't look down
never be any anyone clown
to late to turn around
put race on the rack
its a fact
NEVER LOOK BACK

Clocks Never Look Back

Except when daylight saves them one hour behind.
Otherwise ticking to everything destinations;
Their arms moving relentlessly forward,
As many living things fall helplessly by the wayside.

I've watched them you know as they've watched me;
When I close my eyes so happy they never stop.
To wake to ticks that beat with my heart so gloriously,
Gifting me with more minutes I wasn't sure I deserved.

"A poem to me is the essence of any thought,
Being built from its foundation into tower scraping sky.
It can fly like no other bird to places never seen,
Even spaceships can only dream of taking its place."

Never Look Back

you did it all
so don't fall
be a wall
for thoses behind
and still blind
put moveing on
on the rack
NEVER LOOK BACK

Never Look Back

As she looks forward
The sky turns blue as freedom
Approaches her now

Never Look Back

Two steps ahead of darkness
Three steps ahead of fear
I refuse to look over my shoulder
No, never, not this year

My life, my family, I‘ll stay driven
I have dreams, an ultimate goal
Not for me, but for my family
This year is mine to control

So, into sunshine I’ll stare openly
With no intention to come off track
I’ll keep my eyes set there and focused
To look ahead and not look back

Never Look Back

When her thoughts are her own
 She often thinks
Maybe I could have been

She remembers being so young and innocent
As she looks into the past

In the golden years of life
She says I could have been

Wife and Mother
She chose to be

She still looks back and says

Maybe I could have been

She holds the tears inside
Turns and walks away

Her heart says softly
Never look back
