It, Didn't, Matter
One very fine day,
A mellisuga and a morpho
They were talking by the shore.
Suddenly morpho was trapped in a rope,
She asked for melli to lend a hand.
Melli lent her hands,
And morpho pushed through.
After much struggle
She pulled herself up,
But without melli's help,
Could she have done that?
I think the answer is yes,
But it would've made morpho press,
More deeper

Song of The Blue Morpho Butterfly No 9: AABB
China has two martial arts-styled Mantis,
--just a form. A Morphinae enchants us,
a mammoth butterfly, a pearlescent
spirited blue, bewitching, heaven-sent.
Menelaus blue morpho's induced hues
are by the wing's backs wee mirrors that cues
acquaintances of its presence. Aura
is genteel though acts like a Pandora
for its natural foe, the Jacamar
that shares its habitant courses. All-star
of its genres

Fire In My Soul
It’s Re Life
I took deep breaths
With you on my mind,
With my eyes closed
Eye saw blue morpho
Came close with the Western wind,
And with my heart
wide opened she entered,
Smelling rose and jasmine combined
With few more deep breaths
She chameleoned to you,
Lil as lil fairy, smiling
‘fore my soul you lit my
entire heart like

Haiku Morpho
caterpillars gorge
metamorphosis begins
translucent blue wings
Written 4th August 2020
My favourite butterfly is the Blue Morpho with a wingspan of almost 21centimeters. I love the idea that butterflies are associated with spiritual transformation ~ their exquisite colours and translucent wings give them an almost ethereal persona as if a beautiful soul has been metamorphosed as

Blue Morpho Sat In Awe of Moon
Blue morpho sat quietly
Waiting in silence for the cosmos to begin
She did not have long to wait.
Crescent moon slid out for a peek
slightly before the light show of the evening
Morpho sat quietly, gazing into the realms of creation
She could feel the hush in the grasses
As ants and grasshoppers slumbered,
missing the beauty of

Beautiful Blue Morpho
Oh gorgeous blue butterfly from Peru,
My daughter's gift she brought back cased in glass,
You cheer my heart each time I gaze at you.
Your life cut short, it is a shame, alas,
Yet you live on eternally you see
Because forever in your case you keep
And I will pass you down to family.
Into their hearts too, your beauty

Trade My Skin
Trade Your Skin
Who knew you’d trade your tender skin
For something finer, something thin?
An iridescent new blue suit,
To wear when sipping sour fruit.
Who knew you’d transform, by and by
From human form to butterfly?
With eyes that hide beneath your wings,
You watch on high for heavenly things.
Who knew you’d be an insect fair,
And waft away on misty

Blue Morpho Butterfly
sapphire petals
screaming out
in rage.
black tears
falling heavily
onto wings.
two wispy
threads tugging
furiously lightly.
grey streaming
outward onto
azure expanse.
slight wind
catching in
petite sails.
gentle dwarf
feet clinging
on tightly.
vines draping
over a
worn twig.
ripened yellow
fruits ready
to fall.
brush lining
slivers of
maple branches.
divine being
of nature
taking flight.
