Blue Morpho Butterfly

sapphire petals
screaming out
in rage.

black tears
falling heavily
onto wings.

two wispy
threads tugging
furiously lightly.

grey streaming
outward onto
azure expanse.

slight wind
catching in
petite sails.

gentle dwarf
feet clinging
on tightly.

vines draping
over a
worn twig.

ripened yellow
fruits ready
to fall.

brush lining
slivers of
maple branches.

divine being
of nature
taking flight.

I am so happy to have been able to read your poetry today Ollie. I haven't been able to read much poetry for a few days now. Love, Carol
