vision mismatch

why do we opt to trauma bond
with whims of relatives
when their expectations
are both selfish and irrational 
and inconvenient to comply with

we should not
yet we tend to do
signalling bondage 
to an imaginary script
we really do not need to follow

When I was walking in the zoo,
I saw a strange and wondrous sight.

How may we identify
with egoic views of others,
rooted in dark delusion,
when our soul is free?

Dawn again,
novel day of the century...

In the streets of Nairobi
Is a hopeless place to find love

I walked with a rather slow pace
As I rummaged my eyes perplexingly through the parade of display windows

Mismatch

Circling thoughts true and imagined
comfortably sitting on the irrational
roping fear around feet and arms
without a spark 
from lukewarm heart
to burn the stubble of lies
that gives body  
to the wolf of inaction
stretching out mouth to a smiling pout
while the heart silently cries
and who will balm or answer its why:
words weren’t sent
tears left unanswered.

Why do we draw conclusions
when we don't have valid reasons.
We prefer to make a fuss
we don't see what effects us.

I feel betrayed
but the next moment it is contrayed
I wonder if this is it
Will I in this mismatch fit?
