Hooray autumn is on it's way,
the long summer has been way too too hot.
Cooler days are what I want,
with a soft cool breeze covering me.
Pretty leaves falling down,
colors are a patch quilt carpet.
The welcome mat now reads autumn.
She never saw me for who I was
but wanted me to be the man of her dreams
the man of her imagination
a man she created or so it seems
however I can only be the man who I am
and there's no changing that
so love me or leave me now
outside on the welcome mat
The Cat in a Hat
sat on a mat
(the mat was flat)
when
Pat a bat
who was fat
(a flying rat)
chasing a gnat
(the gnat went zzzat)
dropped in
(splat!)
for a chat
(what a brat)
but
(tit for tat)
was told to scat
imagine that!
(Moral of the story: Uninvited unwelcome)
Gold per ounce the weight of
the trophy
Sake denounced the intent of
The Songbird
Might love pronounce me in
announcement
Closer than my goals
to achievement
Inspiration inspire
to such elevations
To make envy those
who opposed me
Inspiration quiet my foes
Into shame
Might they stand in such
Awe of me
Inspiration make my way
Clear, unopposed I might
Sooth my way clear
Might I stand to thank
thee
Inspiration make me
Worship thee
The story
He seemed to gain, that he would spend in such for quality
Paired, both with the same purpose. Such inclusion to create
the greatest entity. The sounds of harmonic voices. Soothing
Melonic tones. Orchestrated perfections. Lyrics of collaborated tones!
Temperer de Adagio
Sweet bassy Grooves.
Platinum Panties
On the right song
Like a good woman
Something Really Special!
Toasting perfection a smooth
Coupled togetherness
Horns and strings and all sorts
Of Polite and Courteous thangs!
When the wood wins!
With the ‘cat ladies’ out now to bat,
Fate of K Harris from fair to fat,
Sassy cats of kind ‘Swift’
Giving campaign a lift,
Of Trump, down in the dump
What with last debate’s bump,
Says the gong that goes, he’s on the mat.

Beautiful mat
Made from tall grass
An awesome art.
Inspired by a dear friend - iykyk
In a land where camels stitched their dreams,
With needles sharp and lofty seams.
A tailor's shop like desert wide,
Where humps and stitches both preside.
The camel sat with thread in teeth,
A thimble snug, a stitch beneath.
In sandy stalls, the jokes take mold,
A laughter tale, as emails told.
One hump, two humps, a dromedary delight,
In tailor's shop, by deft moonlight.
They stirred the stalls, the fabric stored,
A comedy of camels, laughter soared.
Pour me a stiff one, it's been a long day
I grabbed the bull by the horns, then it said 'Ole!'
Mat the Cat had a hat
Mat the Cat, he was so fat
He could not fit the hat on his head
So he gave it away instead
Mat the Cat had a habit
He likes to hear the frogs ribbit
He went to catch one on the mead
But the frog jumped over his head

Watched by a rat
As he snored in a mat …
Just like the rat
Abominably fat …
Still wearing a fanciful hat
He’d for it parted with a bat:
To many witnesses “A Good Bargain”
To a Smarter Few, “No Loss, No Gain” …
And Fat Sleeper still had an unfinished fish:
Just an hour ago his dinner wish
And right now a rat’s collecting wish
Especially as he’d held it and it seemed childish!
“But how possible by a rat?”
Sadly, neither possible a wake-up pat
And Statement of its Rat Purpose
After interrupting human repose!
There, a brainstorming just stood or sat,
Merely self consoling that Mr. Fat
Was still delaying his purchase of a cat.
They all come in
There’s a family din
But the cat sat on the mat
Tea time done
They have some fun
But the cat sat on the mat
It’s early evening
Kids are screaming
But the cat sat on the mat
Eight at night
Kids out of sight
But the cat sat on the mat
News at Ten
For Kate and Ben
But the cat sat on the mat
A cold winter’s night
Folk tucked up tight
But the cat sat on the mat
Three in the morning
The house is snoring
But the cat sat on the mat
Mice scurry past
Could it be their last?
But the cat sat on the mat
Seven in the morning
Milk is pouring
But the cat sat on the mat
What is wrong with this cat?
Oh - it’s dead!

We first laugh our heads off
Before weeping our eyes out,
First nice suggestions scoff
Before their richness we tout,
First charges deny publicly
And later admit them “As Likely”
Praise-worthy hygiene show openly
Soon behind doors The Slovenly
First, issues make an emotional thing
Before picking their sober ring,
First ourselves stretch drowsily
Before folding mats lazily,
First in restaurants eat our fill
Before remembering the sure bill.
Where did I go wrong was it school or after,
Used to go with the flow think life was all laughter,
I done so much wrong I'm sorry let me put things right,
Is it like this till the end is everyday is a fight,
I want to be happy and that feeling to keep,
All around me the shadows just creep,
I don't mean to upset things always come out wrong,
I feel so alone I don't know where I belong,
Its my mom and my kids what keep me going,
The rest of the world pls just stop its all mind blowing,
Im 6ft 3 and look real mean,
The true me many ain't seen,
Just for one day let everything stop and we all pass on a smile,
Until that day I'm mental mat with my head covered with tin foil.

Tic Tac Was A Wonderful Cat
And for That Reason, He Had A Special Mat
It Was A Special Place to Go
At the End of The Day When Tic Tac Felt Slow
But One Day When the Sun Was Done
Tic Tac Wanted A Place to Put His Bum
But the Dog in The House Was A Very Quiet Mouse
When He Was Walking Around
Looking to Sit Down
Well the Dog Was on Tic Tac's Spot
And Tic Tac Was Very Hot
So, He Started to Meow
Which Made the Dog Howl?
The Two Had A Fight
Showing Their Might
And in The End
Tic Tac Was Able to Defend
The Mat That Was Reserved for Tic Tac the Wonderful Cat
Paul Le Mat, the guy
Who drove the yellow roadster
in American
Grafitti starred in the show,
Aloha Bobby & Rose,
With friend Manuel
Padilla Jr. who played
The little kid in
The Tarzan series of the
Mid-sixties as Jai, Scarface,
Also, Grafitti,
Wanted to cash their weekly
Studio paychecks,
But they knew of the hotel
'DO NOT CASH' memo, but they had
Known of this sucker,
Behind the desk chiefly named,
Tom, so I did cash
it and made two new friends for
the longest two minutes, e'er.
***Manuel, who was two years older than me, has since passed but Paul, who was in his early thirties at the time, is still kicking at 73 years of age.
