Moonlight's bright tonight.
Let's go outside and play.
We can run until dawn.
Morning's still far away.
Embrace the lingering warmth
From the setting of the sun.
Streets grant one true path.
Night calls our return.
In silence the river washed
Our dreams from the shore.
Shiny speckles of sand
Are ours no more.
We’re left vacant and empty
With no pathway home,
Yet the streets keep calling,
Calling our return.
The nights will restore
What we knew in the streets,
But lost from our lives
In many years since.
New challenges we’ll face
With joy and with grief.
Head-on and direct,
Reclaim our belief.
Come share the night,
And the life we must lead
In the streets of the city
Where we can be free.
Moonlight's bright tonight.
Let's go outside and play,
In the streets of the city.
Morning's still far away.
Your soul has shown me through your heart,
A loving, caring and kind part.
And from your mind it says to me,
Intellect and wisdom reside in thee.
And to your soul I do relate,
Experiencing oneness with my soulmate.
For no other presence has more blessed my life,
As having you as my eternal wife.
Two shall be one throughout eternity,
Sharing their love as it was meant to be.
In the light of love an adventure we’ll share,
With faith in our creator, we’ll never despair.
Life is for living, it’s not a test,
Just live in the present and do our best.
Don’t judge others, let them be who they are,
Let the spirit inside us be our guiding star.
We’ll live our life as one of the few,
By living life as we’re meant to do.
To love one another and always be true,
For truly we are one from what used to be two.
Immortal shadow
That will not show how
It will be erased
I crush and persuade
Myself around here
Having you my dear
I saw you sitting in the park. I was pulled in by your blue green eyes & they tore me apart. When I spoke to you. your voice was like an angel playing a harp. it melted my heart and I had to try to win your heart.
I want to spend my life with you,
Through times of red, of green and blue.
For the sunset dance, and midnight walks,
For never ending and the deepest talks.
Red days for adventure, a passion for life,
To dance forever, into the sun filled night.
Seeing the sun, rise from your eyes,
To light up horizons, of pastel skies.
Green for peace, for relaxing days,
Where from our home, we do not stray.
The forgetful days with nothing to do,
The peaceful ones I can be with you.
And blues least favourite, but need to be had,
The days of cold, darkness and sad.
As these are the days our love shines through,
You’ll look after me, and I’ll look after you.
You have my heart, as I have yours,
A glance from you, will make mine glow.
Forever isn’t a long enough time,
But atleast I’m yours, and you are mine
When handsome and shouting cowboys flirt
with gorgeous gals galloping on wild horses,
they won't catch up despite their manliness:
women know what they are after and resist.
The mid-August sun is scorching, and dust rises
amid rust canyons, making trails of their escape;
youth is precious to them, and these girls seek romance,
not marriage to bear many children and feed their mouths.
We see romance blossoming between two roses,
expressing anxiety and their longing for kisses;
and the only time they cry is when brief showers
from the South pelt on their gleaming petals.
When small brooks gargle down steep, rough boulders,
the dehydrated hunters take a break while cicadas creep;
and doing so they lose their catch and indulge in daydreams:
soothing shade is tempting, they lower their hats and fall asleep.
There are no snowfalls in arid deserts, and that infuriated explorers
seeking gold to be carved out of the Colorado and Arizona hills;
young ladies sought romance, not marriage, which demanded trust,
and whenever tough times came, they weren't willing to pay the cost.

Pangiella wed-a wealthy Pakistani.
He bought her a pricey Mogdiliani!
Plus, an annual supply of Pastrami
Be assured, he was a cultured mensch!
With a penchant to kiss her on any park bench,
For he adamantly adored, his hot-blooded wench!
They wed, had children, by last count, three.
Of course, busy as romantic honey bees.
Living contentedly, on the lovely Isle of Capri.
No more poetry, does wench Pangie ever try to write.
Busy now with family, parties and being socially right.
He keeps her busy with love and Madeira on moonlit nights!
Your eyes that always said, let’s go!
How could I for a second say, no?
You were my miracle in a sun filled life.
My heart said, I would be your wife.
Rainbows, joy-filled, gardenia days.
Prismatic adventure, were your way
Then an angel came, and took you away,
From our home near San Francisco Bay.
Waves from the Pacific, still lap the shore.
And,I stand here alone, in love, forevermore.

On this day of love and joy,
Two hearts become one, oh boy!
A union of two souls so pure,
A bond that will forever endure.
The groom awaits his blushing bride,
With love and admiration in his eyes,
She walks down the aisle with grace,
A smile on her face that lights up the place.
In the presence of family and friends,
Their love story reaches its happy end,
A promise to cherish, love, and hold,
For better or worse, in sickness and gold.
As they exchange their vows of love,
A peacefulness descends from above,
A union blessed by heavens' hand,
Sealed with a kiss and wedding band.
With love and laughter, they celebrate,
The start of a beautiful, joyful fate,
A life of love, trust, and togetherness,
May their love grow stronger with every caress.
May this day be the beginning of a beautiful life,
A love that transcends every trouble and strife,
A journey of endless joy, adventure, and fun,
A love that shines as bright as the sun.
Three boyfriends have I, whom I could marry
Just hit '39' again, so I'd better not tarry
#1's hair is so long and so curly
I don't know anyone cuter
Sleeps all day, and mopes nights away
I call him 'My Active Brooder'
#2 seems polite, a man with some manners
but when he gets mad, ain't nobody ruder
He's into MK-47's, MAGA, the NRA
I call him 'My Active Shooter'
#3's vision's amazing, like Superman's
though frankly, there's nobody lewder
He stares at every skirt that comes his way
I call him 'My Active Denuder'
O, What should I do, I just can't decide
I've got to get married, before I die
Wait - My cat's my best friend, I'll marry him
I'll start a Go-Fund-Me, get 'Jaspar' neutered
THIS IS OUR CHAALO
This is not the lubiri
There is no electricity,
This is not the city
There is no sigiri,
This is our Chaalo,
where we are all buried.
You won't hear the rain,
this is not mabaati;
You'll learn to cook grain,
there is no mugaati;
This is our Chaalo,
Where you got married.
You will blow into the smoke
But you will not choke;
You will run after a cock
Or have nothing to cook;
This is our Chaalo
Where you got married
Those Toothless jaajas
Are your silent judges,
And those drunkard koojas
Have been here,for ages;
This is our chaalo
So you shouldn't be worried.
These are our people
Most good,most evil;
They will sharpen your knife
And call you their wife,
But this our chaalo
Where we shall raise our children.
~joel apeede
mere reconciliation
of lonely wills
of apparent solidarities......!
I
I could copy, imitate and duplicate
The words of heart-and-wordsmiths
O muse, help me rather emulate
The genesis of natal pedigree, truths
And touches of agape-Love
II
To speak of aging, arriving, mature
With shy eyes that blossom respect
Lips that don't intimate lust, adventure
But dependence on another pair yet
For air, their mutual sheltered Cove
Her hair would fan out in the wind
She would laugh, running her fingers through it
Her eyes would sparkle seeing a friend
With all my buddies, she was a big hit.
But it was her heart that captured me
She was sweet and good, tried and true
Principled, she valued the finer things in life
She said, “I’ll gladly share my life with you!”
For thirty-five years she was my soulmate
Never being selfish, uncaring, or unkind
From our first exciting adventure together
She always had our well-being in mind.
She was special in the best kinds of ways
Our lives moved along smoothly together,
She worked hard to make our marriage great
I’ll love my Deborah for ever and ever.
