Your eyes that always said, let’s go! How could I for a second say, no? You were my miracle in a sun filled life. My heart said, I would be your wife. Rainbows, joy-filled, gardenia days. Prismatic adventure, were your way Then an angel came, and took you away, From our home near San Francisco Bay. Waves from the Pacific, still lap the shore. And,I stand here alone, in love, forevermore. 7/25/2023

Pangie, this is beautiful, but terribly heartbreaking. I just saw the other comments, I'm so sorry that this is a true story, such a terrible tragedy of the loss of you beloved husband! I always loved the San Francisco Bay as a child, we lived in a small Bay Area town when I was young. The Bay is so beautiful but can be so very dangerous. My heart goes out to you dear Pangie. Hugs to you, may God comfort you in your beautiful memories.

BJ, always an honor to be read, isn’t it,even better when we know the poet reading us gets the message as you did. Rarely can I hear Tony Bennets song without crying.those are perfect lyrics about SF years ago, not now. I hope one day that city will ne sane again. I also had a friend jump off the Bridge but he survived. Today, there are nets to catch jumpers.I cried when I moved to the East Bay.my heart does live there when the city was pristine! Such a loss that was for me. People are not replaceable, BJ. Cherish those around you! What a great share! God is always my strength and comfort. I know we are all in His hands, Pangie.

Hi Kim. I humbly thank you. Had it not been for him, I would never have dared to write at al! When we got married in San Francisco, we read a lot of poetry together. We were at City Lights bookstores a lot. And met in coffee shops with writers.. We were poor as church mice, there was a recession and jobs were scarce. But twas the time of my life!)) Pangie
