The diabolical discriminations
life made me witness,
threw me in the depths of being a
disgusted stranger,
all supposed earthly beauties floats by
I could care less,
same goes for the ineffective utterances of
bush, mountain and manger.

What trembling light,
what quiver of eternity
gleamed in the shepherds' eyes,
unaware heralds of an hour
that would shatter time
like a vessel overflowing with heaven.
You wish for the transparency
of that intact heart,
naked of pride and fear,

Cribbed in a manger,
Here to nourish all with love;
Our God-given fruit:-

The Animals They Talk

Venus
Casts a tiny shadow
Upon the ghostly snow
From its candle held by an extended hand
Of a cloaked man
Who trips through the stripped trees

Follows the fresh trail of reindeer
To our second-floor windowsills
Then on to rooftops lined with owls
Comet tails thrashing through the oval

Stars

The kids pretend to sleep
To the faint smell of hay
Their red stockings overflow with candy

Away in a Manger, Jesus is No Stranger

Snowflakes sparkle in grandiose beauty.

Loving Jesus, a Christian’s, call and duty.

Entering a music-filled Church, a must today!

With grateful soul, bow your head and pray,

Your eternal Father, just gave you His only Son,
 
Wrapped in a humble manger, for everyone!    



            

Where is Jesus Manger

Gingerbread jingle woods, livens up our jolly elf.
Cartoon magic Christmas, books falling off of a shelf.
We are running into Santa’s path; he has to veer away.
Glad to say he missed us with the runners of his sleigh.

My marriage; in danger
No wife in my bed
She slept with two geezers

By one little Man
A baby so mighty

I grabbed the ass in the manger,
risking spiritual anger
	the ass hee’d and haw’d
	I screamed “Oh my Lawd!”
