The diabolical discriminations
life made me witness,
threw me in the depths of being a
disgusted stranger,
all supposed earthly beauties floats by
I could care less,
same goes for the ineffective utterances of
bush, mountain and manger.

Wherever You are living God
I want to live with You
Whenever You call to me
I'll come running straight to You
Wherever You are preaching
I'm receiving Your great love
Because You are my Savior
All day long I want to be Your child
Like baby Jesus in the manger
He slept there meek and so mild
Guide me along life's path
Never may I feel God's wrath

What trembling light,
what quiver of eternity
gleamed in the shepherds' eyes,
unaware heralds of an hour
that would shatter time
like a vessel overflowing with heaven.
You wish for the transparency
of that intact heart,
naked of pride and fear,
to draw close to the threshold
of the cave,
where the earth breathes
the miracle that overshadows it.
You long for eyes of crystalline wonder,
pure as the first morning,
to seize the whisper
that transforms the world,
the silent song
that illuminates every distance.
You yearn for trembling lips,
almost like dawn,
to stammer the name
that fills and dissolves everything,
while the star keeps watch,
high, invincible,
above the abyss of time.
Yet that moment belonged
only to the shepherds,
the first fruits of the waiting
of all humanity.
History will not return,
but a threshold remains open,
and if you come much later,
it does not matter:
the mystery awaits.
It is enough to make your heart
another manger,
a womb of silence,
where the Infinite
may be incarnated again.

Snowflakes sparkle in grandiose beauty.
Loving Jesus, a Christian’s, call and duty.
Entering a music-filled Church, a must today!
With grateful soul, bow your head and pray,
Your eternal Father, just gave you His only Son,
Wrapped in a humble manger, for everyone!

Gingerbread jingle woods, livens up our jolly elf.
Cartoon magic Christmas, books falling off of a shelf.
We are running into Santa’s path; he has to veer away.
Glad to say he missed us with the runners of his sleigh.
A gift for Serendipity, a gift for Mr. Vee and Mrs. Lee.
Candy canes all over even on the Christmas tree
Rudolph missed the deadline; he had to stay behind
Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, will do the job just fine.
Where is Jesus’ manger? His little crib of wood.
Are the wisemen coming? We never said they could.
Silver bells are glistening, we have a noisy roof.
Let’s get up and see the prints, then we have the proof.

My marriage; in danger
No wife in my bed
She slept with two geezers
In our cattle shed
I did suspect one guy
Of making her stray
She does what she pleases
Much to my dismay
The problem with knowing
Is she often bakes
So now I say, ”Jesus,
That means no more cakes.”
And yes it displeases
That her roaming eye
Has found a new lover…
Like Tracy and I
I’m sat eating cheeses
For breakfast today
My cooking ain’t clever
And she’s gone away
Then sounds from the stable
I found my wife there
But she was with Tracy
And they were both bare

Did anyone see millions of rainbows fill up the skies?
Did anyone see the heavens bloom and a child appear?
Flying, floating, and fluttering to a numb-filled surprise
Rested between Joseph and Mary, filled with divine cheer
The racks where they dwelt, as there's no place in the human hearts
Mystic music concerts were heard like thunder and earthquakes.
Cows, bulls, and sheep stood as though forgetting their breathing arts.
The Almighty's graces seemed to surround them like ice flakes.
Those who were sleeping were dreaming of the birth of a saviour.
Though they felt a thud, they did not feel the need to be awake.
And, hence, on that blessed night, they could not find God's favour.
The shepherds hurried to meet him, who came down for their sake.
Cows mooed and goats bleated the Gloria of the angels.
Eyes open, Jesus slept amidst changes that seemed changeless

Remember the wise men
Whom King Herod sent
To find Baby Jesus
To see where He went
They followed the star
By night and by day
Their journey seemed endless
But on task they remained
The power possessed
By one little Man
A baby so mighty
No One
Could With Stand
The Wise Men they came
And worshipped the Baby
They knelt down before Him
The Gifts there they laid
Frankincense
Gold
And Myrrh
Were brought forth
Royalty began
In the Manger
Our Lord
Born in a Manger
No room in the Inn
All Jesus needed
Was a place to begin

I grabbed the ass in the manger,
risking spiritual anger
the ass hee’d and haw’d
I screamed “Oh my Lawd!”
my ass, not his, was in danger!

Out of a manger, one named Emmanuel
for three years sought to show His kinsmen the Way.
The Light of the World, His lips hasted to tell
of sweet forgiveness when men choose to obey.
Away from the manger, do we celebrate
the birth of a Savior angels don’t discern?
We claim Him as our Lord, yet we hesitate
to share His forgiveness so our kinsmen can learn -
the Way in a manger quickly came to a cross;
the Truth, the Life, and the Way - God's master plan.
When we keep Him a secret, earth suffers loss.
Yet His Spirit stays, the yoke of sin to outspan.

Snowing tonight….incandescent, luminescent,
Silvery snow, whispering divine dreams..
Air misty, breeze calm, serene! Do I see the
Brilliant Star, which directed the wise men
To a stable on an evening of starry twilight ...
When the three wise magi spotted the
Brightest star in the east, their surprise,
And their exhilaration knew no bounds!
Our Lord has come to us, the star beckons,
We must follow the glowing light and find our Saviour!
Sights through my window-panes are blurred!
Rooftops getting blanketed with white
Shimmering laces! treetops beautifully
Embellished with silver ornaments,
Grasses caressed by softest drizzle of snow!
This is the night, holy night for the universe
When we welcome our Lord to illuminate
Our life! They found Him in the manger,
Divine baby and Holy Mother they prayed to,
Most precious gifts were showered on Him!
We gaze with wonder at glittering stars above,
On this magnificent Christmas Day, in every
Glistening snowflake I behold Christmas magic -
An aura of love and compassion for the needy
Envelop the world with spiritual grace and harmony!

Poor Rudolph was getting old,
He had the start of a heavy cold.
He did not want to pull the sleigh.
In the manger, he wanted to lay.

I think I’m in danger
I could end up dead
When my wife smells the perfume
on her side of the bed
The perfumes I buy her
From a cheap back-street dive
Don’t smell like this perfume
It’s Chanel number Five
She’s been away a few days
Visiting her sick mother
So I brought home a Nympho
For a bit of the other
But my wife said this bedroom
Always smells of rank farts
But it now smells like a boudoir
That’s frequented by tarts
She’d smelt it and I told her
What jumped into my head
That the little Lord Jesus
Was asleep in our bed
But he smelt just like a manger
Kinda sawdust and dung
So I sprayed him with perfume
Well it had to be done
She cursed and I was thrown out
By the tip of her toe
And I flew through the doorway
Coming down in the snow
So it seems that like Mary
During that first Christmas
I shall go to meet Jesus
While I’m sat on my ass

The manger was empty and bare.
But that didn’t matter,
because Love would come there.
Joseph and Mary found it sufficient,
she being full with God’s own son.
Thus in that night came Love omniscient.
An angel told shepherds of the birth.
They journeyed in joy to the place
and saw that Love had come to earth.
Wise men came led by a star’s holy light.
They brought gifts, worshipped the babe,
and knew that Love was in their sight.
Thus the prophecies of centuries long past
were fulfilled in some stranger’s manger,
and Love. . .Love came to earth at last.
