Drink up slowly feel it in your throat,
there is such texture with every note.
Bright bubbles of joy provide a lift
dancing on the air they slowly drift.

Much like a party-ready half smile,
it flushes cheeks so you stay a while.
At least until the end of the night,
when busted favors are out of sight.

Glitter and candy-light on the floor,
a little bit less makes you want more.

Grande alibi that’s always air tight,
cemented by a trick you’ll handwrite.
Luxe celebration clamors meanwhile
remnants remain that will land on trial.

Aboard the ocean it’s toss is swift,
this ensorcelled evening’s such a gift.
Walking to the check to grab your coat,
a scrap of your heart spilt on the boat.

That rolling road of the ocean
propelling you into daydreams.
I love beach life more everyday.

Skin smooth with coconut lotion,
that’s truly as luxe as it seems.
Grinning at the shoreline you stay.

Falling into such devotion
faces are lifted by sunbeams.
Heat’s fleeting, much to my dismay.

Charged current in constant motion,
glitter on the turquoise tide gleams.
Race the mavericks without delay.

Diving head first into a test,
I ride with joy on a wave crest.

Premium Member Shipwrecks

The Mary Rose, Andrea Doria, Estonia,
MV Doña Paz, RMS Titanic, and the Endurance
Wasn't, in techno craftsmanship, each a utopia?
Wasn't, yet, the cause of their wreck been soft luxe sentiments?

Could they, in cores, cope with collisions with the ice rocks?
Was immersion hypothermia humanly handled?
In times of perpetual physical and psychic blocks
Wasn't the divine enlightenment and wisdom trampled?

As though hunted and haunted whales, the ship's skeletons swayed.
Spirits of the dead, with the synchronizing sea waves, dance
Neither the lighthouses nor the stars could show them the way.
Doesn't, yet, the strife of each life, before God, get a chance?

In games of gain and loss, did they gain and lose by themselves?
Are the shelves of the ships that are wrecked mere shelves of elves' delves?

And all the world is aglitter,
                                    Bedecked in glamour’s lurid sheen,
                                  Hearts fluttered by Mammon’s bluster,
                                       Minds by vanity daily preened.

                                   Shiny leather grants borrowed fame,
Flashlights blitz for the high-gloss game,
Brittle egos puffed to the seams,
Drab nights buffed by caviar dreams.

Bidding wars rage for high price tags,
                                         Wallets open to sprinkle gold,
The comfort of a purchased glow,
                                          Soothes all anxiety attacks.

                                       Few know life’s greatest luxury,
                                          Is fleeing money’s forgery.

An ardent longing for the finer things ...
Vodka from eggs - bedrooms with wings.

Bugatti's and coffees topped with gold,
Armani, Brioni, and true absinthe, old.

Bottega Veneta or a Lanvin wool coat,
Yachts that are really just mansions that float.

Valets and limos and luxe high-rise suites,
Beds dressed in D. Porthault Jours de Paris sheets.

Bluefin sashimi, Kopi Luwak,
Yubari Melon, and real Dark To'ak.

Matsutake Mushrooms, Wagyu Beef,
South Devon Crab with fresh saffron leaf.

Almas Caviar, Bonnotte Potatoes,
White Alba Truffles, Canarian Tomatoes.

Heligan Pineapple, Densuke Black
Watermelon, sweet. In pocket, a stack.

Milan designed leather shoes and gloves -
Oh, I'm cursed, eternal, with such lavish loves!

So what is the claim, if extravagance deems?
I hope for tomorrow, and believe in my dreams.

For naught yet compares to my imaginings' wealth,
All the money on earth can't buy my good health.

So I dream, but I'm happy with all I've been blessed,
And MAYBE, in time ... fate will see to the rest.

Dear, Teach Me How To Relax

Be positive and upbeat
Think of our loves
And also our love ones
Of the things so simple
We just give without any hesitance
And whatever their response
Always believe they too love.

When our goal is a good cause
Learning and doing are services
Mechanized service de luxe
Be sure its been wholeheartedly done
Never think of the negative
For we don’t want our family die
And God knew our intention is sincere.

Sit Down Like Matisse

SIT DOWN LIKE MATISSE

Sit down like Matisse
with coloured paper and scissors
and cut a red Eastern poppy -
papaver orientale!

Stare at goldfish in a bowl,
consider your life in art;
what it's done for your soul:
luxe, calme et volupte.

Jewelry Trends

A pea-sized emerald
pierces the navel, and
like a Tiger's Eye marble,
catches the sun's rays
on a scantily clad body.

Petite gold rounds
line the ears' outer edge
like quarter moons
cloistering a small face.

A superb gem
roosts left side of
a petite nose,
gleaming like
diamante on
darkish velvet.

A smile displays
highly-whitened
teeth, and a pocket
sized silver orb
rivets the center
of a pink tongue,
like a pearl of
an oyster waiting
to be culled.

Luxe jewels
pierced into
delicate skin,
manifests today's
fashion trends,
transcended
from distinct
domains of
centuries past.
