We walked the beach one moonlit night
Our lunar orb shone down so bright
Darkened shadows consumed the land
This night we walked hand in hand
The summers breeze was fading away
As night birds glided in hidden display
Chromed crests topped the gentle waves
As a calmness carries their path paved
To a secluded dune we sit down and admire
The days beauty from it's morning transpire
As we enter a new day on natures sands
To be here at midnight we never planned
On our backs we lie and look to the night sky
In our minds we know why, we are here and lie
Companionship, relationship and our love dictates
That on this moonlit night, we are soul mates
Although it is dark I see her ebony curls
Just one of her beauties that makes my heart swirl
We turn and face as our lips gently meet
My hands through her hair as our kissing repeats
On the sands of our time we caress each other
Our naked flesh bare as we lovingly smother
Undulations of delight in capturing clutch
Receptive and pert by our sensuous touch
Adjoined we are, two hearts beating as one
As a chorus of silence, our loving whispers begin
Through the sighs, we whisper I love you
As our kissing heightens below the dark cobalt blues
Our bodies become frenzied as our loving emotion blooms
Naked as birth in natures front room
Joyous cries of delight drift on the sands
We share our excitement as we started, holding hands
Breathless sighs resonate in our space
Under the lunar light in our special place
Absorbing our loving time, spooned we lie
Two in love under a diamond crested night sky

alone inside with me, less than inspirational
so look out for the more interesting folk
momentary excitement, the fiery motivational
beyond the familiar, to stoke and provoke
daydream departure from mundane conversational
adventures cocooned in my warm cosy cloak
cool charismatic characters, charming skills to admire
the wily wheelers, the dubious dealers
the mighty movers, the shuffling shakers, to these I aspire
delvers of science, the body-mind healers
frisky purveyors of seduction spray fuel to the fire
risky game chancers, the common sense stealers
suspenders of disbelief, poetic weavers of word
jovial jugglers of juxtaposition
addicted acquisitors, spinners shifting the absurd
fabulous fakers, deceptive magician
image presenters, dark or backlit, focused or blurred
sculptors of form, instrumental musician
composers of melody, glorious singers of song
whatever the stage, great performers of art
athletic achievers stretching stubbornly strong
rhythmic dynamo dancers moving close or apart
food-feeding salivators, their tasty pleasures prolong
delightful set dishes or delicious a la carte
whether imbibed on its own or in good company enjoyed
the brewer, the vintner, the masters of malt
innovative designers, architects of structure and void
the philosopher's stone, comfort-zone assault
insightful free thinkers, long-held paradigms destroyed
tall storytelling teachers without fear of fault
mathematical manipulators of numbers and code
quantum diving or high-flying to the stars
engineering fabricators, tunnel, bridge, rail and road
crazy drivers and loop-turning avatars
tinkering technicians, ecologists with wisdom bestowed
planners of protest, the remover of scars
inspirational givers, those with just the skill of their bent
empathy crossing over to be by your side
the meek, the afflicted, those who can ill-afford the rent
the refugee fleer from our wars worldwide
safety seekers, brave rational people with lives to augment
as we build indifferent walls... hope denied!
It was summer time, a time for planting and reaping
and when it came to my dad well he could make that garden sing
He spent hours nurturing his plum tomatoes, while I his offspring
could only admire his patience, dedication and caring from afar.
An immigrant of Italy he knew everything there was to know
about big fat juicy tomatoes. He knew they needed time to grow,
and I knew there was a little humor to be had here, in toe.
"Dad, how long will it be before we see our first tomato?" I asked
" Oh not for a while" he answered, then the sun suddenly flashed
Time for a little fun in the sun I thought, off to the store I went
came back with a big fat tomato. I hung it on the plant with some
twine then called him over with an eager voice
"Look dad we got our first tomato, isn't it great ! " I exclaimed
he investigated with a grin, soon my lie had been defunct, defamed
that was a summer when it rained and rained and rained,
we got lots of tomatoes that year, and most of them we canned.
What I never will forget, is the love in my father's eyes,
every time he smiled like that, I was always left with a feeling,
that I had just won the gold prize.

When the strong are weak dose that make you depressed?
When the hope filled become the hopeless
Do you see them as a mess
When the ones you look up to
fall and fail to live up to
Do you run away from them or do you run to
When your teacher fails to be wise
Do you still admire or do you dispise
Do you think what you thought was wise
or is it now all lies
Ups and downs is the lives of us all
No one is perfect no one at all
Everyone excells and everyone falls
Those that fail and try again learn well the lessons of mistakes
Those that fail and then give up can never see past that one mistake
When you fail and fail you will get up and try again
success will come when you make the last mistake.

August 18 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Jeremiah 23-25
Key Verse – Jeremiah 23:16 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD.
FAITH IN GOD WHO WARNS US
AGAINST FALSE PROPHETS ALONG HIS TRUTH
God keeps us against false prophets along His truth’s security
Since we are His sheep around His salvation-certainty
Whom He nurtures with His Word’s immutability
For our faith’s spiritual prosperity that smites vanity.
God warns us against false prophets along His truth’s peacefulness
Since we are His children counseled by His Scriptures’ steadfastness
Whom He teaches along His wisdom to overcome deceitfulness
For our faith’s strength to vanquish weariness.
God warns us against false prophets along His truth’s revival-fire
Since we are His worshippers according to what He does require
Whom He leads through His authority we esteem and admire
For our faith’s increase until we retire.
God warns us against false prophets along His truth’s protection
Since we are His believers safeguarded by His instruction
Whom He establishes by His Biblical foundation
For our faith’s stability upon His virtuous foundation.
God warns us against false prophets along His truth’s guardianship
Since we are His servants trained under His stewardship
Whom He guides along His ministry partnership
For our faith’s effectiveness by His workmanship.
God warns us against false prophets along His truth’s light
Since we are His followers abiding in His holiness’ might
Whom He illumines in studying His statutes always right
For our faith’s determination to please Him with delight.
God warns us against false prophets along His truth’s settlement
Since we are His learners studying His precepts by His enablement
Whom He directs with His divine empowerment
For our faith’s involvement in the great commission-fulfillment.

dear demise, how i wish you were here
how i wish you would grace my presence and set me free
i would be better off dead
up in the skies, one with the stars, friends with these dots that are strung together by invisible lines, creating pictures humans look up to and admire
around here, even crows yearn for their own deaths
strong, resilient creatures become broken, helpless, tired and done
my will to live and i are drifting apart like the stars in orion
but i won't tell my sister for a little while
and i'm tired of putting on a show to please those around me
and covering my grief with an exaggerated smile
remember those dots in the sky that somehow formed something
that were connected but not actually together
i just draw in the lines and fill everything in myself
and live with the doubt if whether
whether i am right or wrong
if i am enough or fall short
if my father really loves me
and other questions of that sort
i don't think i deserve to eat dinner this evening
maybe i'll just go to bed and starve
starve to death and be a skeleton in the morning
grab that knife off the kitchen counter to carve
carve wounds into my skin that say what orion told me last night
i fear his whisper was correct, though it still filled me with fright
for orion told me winter is soon coming
and with that, our love will go cold
you will forget me and travel elsewhere in the sky
and leave me sitting here all alone
every part of me will be replaced
by someone who is more useful, or simply better
and i'll lay on the ground, looking up to the sky
admiring orion and hating the cold weather
so now, i bid farewell to orion, and so long to life on this earth
for if i can no longer love you, i shall die with my lack of worth
i stay settled on the grassy knoll as orion stays vibrant but my life fades away
and pray that perhaps in another ending, happiness actually glanced my way
Bougainvillea
15 April 2019
I still remember the pink hue of the
bougainvillea flowers just outside my window
greeting me, each morning as I brush aside the curtains
and let the glorious rays of sun paint my room
in a streak of golden yellow.
Like pieces of art, little and precise
simple yet meaningful, I admire those
soft, blushing petals.
These long vines and thorns lining
in natural perfection its leaves and flowers, teach me
that hidden in my failures and obstacles
I may find beauty and glory, and I may start anew
with my new-found inspiration from these
works of untouched and
untouchable art,
for which I find myself
eternally grateful.
Spouse, not just a word,
A feeling, a call to partnership,
Right, you heard.
A journey together,
Making folklore, many memories later,
Friend for all weather.
Time for shared responsibilities,
for her, for him and of course twining
Have faith in abilities.
Presenting moments to learn,
Many more to unlearn, reinvent,
Someday yearn.
Spouse supports you,
On your journey, through thick & thin,
Isn’t it true?
Through ups & downs,
Life’s unpredictable shocks & bolts
With spouse, no frowns!
When life is happy & gay,
Sunshine bright, smells so right,
Ecstasy at play.
So, guys admire & respect,
A bond so surreal, thy part not in heaven or realm of spirits
No fences to erect!
With my blue eyes
I watched you find the lost
The place that should have always been
That place absent of shame and sin
Colour separation was meant to be thin
Like a little girl
You found peace love and fun
You were able to be the free one
No fear of a police man with a gun
You twirled and giggled in the sun
It wasn’t fear that made you run
The richness of your colour
I marvelled at your state
A deep dark joy meant to animate
All I needed was to concentrate
and freely share from my own plate
When this world becomes one
Only then will we satiate
and begin to solve our prejudicial traits
Before it is to late
Through my flip flop view
I witnessed you
You sang poetic words so true
Grasping them I flew
Not away but towards you
I needed to immerse in your blue
For without being one people
This place will never renew
I admire your strength
Despite the worlds cruelty
For you occupy
a place of duality
Where to many brothers and sisters
Become another fatality
Yet you have a shared rich history
So faithfully cling to your ability
Even when others don’t provide civility
You are on the precipice of Victory.

Without a telescope Galileo Galilei could have not
discovered all of Jupiter's dwarf moons orbiting around it;
don't we breathlessly behold the different colors of lovely Venus?
Mars, Pluto, Moon and Jupiter are unbelievably stupendous!
Amazing is the Milk Way's position in its celestial boundary,
we know that there are other shining galaxies bigger than ours
and they constantly sparkle with a radiance unlike stars;
spot them on a night without fog or clouds: they are groovy!
I have done star-gazing only for spiritual reasons:
the splendor of our enormous universe had a beginning...
before complete darkness covered its deep void so frightening,
but the Creator's grand concept revealed the glorious brightness!
Whoever does not admire this bright spectacle of nocturnal delight,
never believed in the Divine Power that conquers any pure heart!
