scott e mcpherson yesterday
into a tavern sought a fray
carrying a log
he found in a bog
instead he meets heather macrae.
I said, "Okay! Let's play a little game.
I'll pick a number, and I'll pick a name.
And if you can guess neither,
you'll have to watch my Peter,
while I paint your new door and the new frame."
My husband is over protective.
Less stress is his doctor's objective.
But with two teens at home,
Always on the damn phone,
"Let go" isn't always effective!
My teen daughter is always respectful.
But with chores she is ever forgetful.
Leaving notes doesn't help,
So I tried Grampas belt,
Now we laugh on the floor as we wrestle!
Too many pets with too many holes!
What goes in them from their cute pet bowls,
Comes out of more than just one,
If I don't clean it's not done,
Making me ill seems to be their goals!
Rusty Finds A Home!
Rust-hued kitty’s shunned by day, ignored through the night
Unloved and discarded in a world numb to his plight
As he meows by a door
Rusty meets family Tor
Who give him a home, protection and love glowing bright
—Robert Gorelick
Who could resist a kitty like Rusty
Who is lonely, scared and very dusty
Needing a safe home
Of his very own
And someone to adore him who’s trusty
—Beryl Edmunds
Poet Kitty
Longing words of love poet kitty will inspire
His soulful meows set her passions afire
Channeling Keats and Byron
He’s her purring siren
Poet kitty, you’re a marvel we so greatly admire
Star-Crossed Cat Love
A domestic Manx, hopes torn stream and tossed
Pines and purrs for a stray cat so very lost
Their souls ache with delight
Through the screen door at night
A true love forbidden at a heartbreaking cost
The man married a wife
Who was the love of his life
He was oh so proud
Despite her uni brow
You see true love in his eye
Charlie and Marley maculate giraffe
Looking immaculate with a soft laugh
Dinner at Bread and Butter
Had their stomach a flutter
Through the window they ate shocking the staff

If I sing songs lined with honey
Will you let me be your bunny?
Let my hands make your heart flush
Our loose lips lock and don't rush
My love will make your eyes runny
a girl making pizza dream
her toppings make tastebuds scream
tomato tossed swirls
with cheese in great curls
queen of the epicure scene.
She was the cat’s meow
But yet she cried bow-wow
Bow-wow-meow is the place I drink milk moo-moo
Not mine skirt apparel I’m the ballerina in the tutu
Whom am I to cry out, when in my throat I shout NOW

Rev up, rev up
engine roaring racing such
never boring lighting fast
birthday blast cars vroom-vroom
Carlin's runs on females hearts

Dream Dates are never dreamy, because of their perfection,
Not dreamy from strict parenting, or Natural Selection;
Quite simply Dream Dates are so, because they put us first,
It’s selfless consideration—in which Dream Dates are well-versed;
Next chance—be someone’s Dream Date, make a genuine connection!

Santa, last year we were in a tussle
Stole an icy kiss, amidst the hustle
Bad boy, it’s fisty cuffs
Viagra in your cream puffs
This year boop-dee-doop meet me in Brussels
by I Am Anaya
Santa's cutie, we got in a tussle last year
When I stole an icicle kiss as I drew near
Hollywood's Harvey, you fixed
When his advances you nixed
So, I'll see you in Brussels, so get over here!
by Robert Gorelick
When Santa Clause went in for the tussle
He got himself into lots of trouble
His cold icy lips
To her lips did stick
And the iced cold had froze every muscle
by Belle Bellevue
Sally had too many drinks at the bar
As eyes wandered into her cookie jar
A darling to the men
Not to be outdone, then
Her eyes charged under the hoods of their car
