LET BELIEVE
Walk with faith,
believing in yourself each day,
Trust the above; let doubt drift away.
What is meant for you will come
without struggle in its time,
Just like a river
that flows in rhythm and rhyme.

some scriptures advocate that we negate
the here now this feeling of body-mind
but our heart’s response is to celebrate
is-ness of being-ness divine aligned
a koel sings for no reason at all
imprinting in the void a work of art
so likewise poised in a benign bliss squall
we are the vibrance of toroidal heart
manifest form and unmanifest space
former the dance and the latter the stage
origins to the noumena retrace
peaceful pulsating light that has no age
what we dismiss becomes something we miss
clear sight barren offers not taste of bliss
I will be me as an anchor,
I will be me as an anchor,
But me saying as it will,
As the oceans pass I will,
As the stories tell I will.
Tea must blossom in the water
before its deepest flavour can emerge;
perhaps the heart is much the same-
we suffer less when we learn to let go.
But the longer the tea is steeped,
the more bitter it becomes.
And the more we turn a thought over,
the more tears that it can bring.
Yet bitter tea is not always unpleasant
and tears do not always mean sorrow.
Sometimes a cup grows darker
only because it has been given time
to become what it had always meant to be.
Steep it once, and it will be strong.
Steep it again, and it will soften.
Maybe people are like that too:
what hurts when held so tightly
will begin to loosen, inch by inch
when given time to breathe.
We do not ask the first cup
to be the most pleasant.
Nor should we demand ourselves
to wash away a heavy sadness
in a single moment.
Let it steep.
Let the days be water.
Let the heart slowly open
Let what is too bitter today
become gentler with time.
Some things are not meant
to be rushed away-
they are meant to
slowly
dissolve.
Hold
Firm
Like Ori
Lit in Orun
While earthly noise climbs colossal
Trying to blur your fluorescence
With shadows precast to
Mimic ancestral rumors
Hoping you'll forget the
Cosmos Supreme being
Stitched into the deepest
Chambers of your intellect.
Let go of some talks
Not all talks are talks
You can't swim
More than a frog
Stop showing off
Because you can't
Have it all
Everyone got what they lack.
Don't take some walk
Not all walks are walks
Some you might not return
You can't be brighter
Than Sirius
You're just a minus
Because you'll die one day.
You can't flock with all
Let go of some folks
You can't tell the time
More than the clock
Base on our programming
You live with
What you have or know.
I feel the torrent of pain racking my body’s life.
In despair, I hold my wife's hand so tight.
Tears and sobbing surround me; my family feels helpless.
Yet as the pain subsides, I smile, knowing I’m blessed.
I look at each of them, reminiscing about our life memories.
Watching each of them create a new family with their stories.
With each telling of what we lovingly remembered from our times.
Then a warm, gentle wind blows through, ringing the chimes.
I feel a new presence of love forming before me as I am in awe.
My family senses the calming comfort of the inevitable call.
I call forth with my last breath that I love them, to let me go.
Then my wife calmed my family and told me we are ok so I let go.
Brother Jesus held me, and he quieted my heart as I cried.
The time has come for my family to grieve as I died.
we wrestle with our issues
thinking we run this show
unwilling to let God
have the control
let go, let God
submit and release
let go, let God
grant us perfect peace
stubborn, obstinate
Is the nature of man
reluctant to cleave
to God's mighty hands
let go, let God
submit and release
let go, let God
grant us perfect peace
life is complicated
difficulties arise
but as His offspring
we should surmise
God our creator
who gave us life
Sent us a savior
Jesus the Christ
He works for our good
He does the most
gave us love, power
and the Holy Ghost
So let go, let God
submit and release
let go, let God
grant us perfect peace
let go, let God
submit and release
let go, let God
Grant us perfect peace
no longer to wrestle
no longer to fight
let go, let God
show His love and His might
Let go, let God
Let them think they know me,
even if they don’t.
Let them judge me
for the things they know nothing about.
Let them talk
and speak foolishly
on things they don’t know the facts about.
If they are going to judge,
give them a reason to judge—
live for God.
Let them see that liars lose.
Let them see
what they don’t know.
God is on my side.
They can think what they want,
but when they see me prosper
in the ways of the Lord—
When they see that the judgment
they thought I deserved
never comes—
They will know
God is with me.
He has all authority
over us
and everything in my life.
So let the evil follow me,
because my God
will turn it away.
Let them talk,
and let them judge.
There is only One
who defines who I am,
who orders my steps
and guides me in His ways.
He is the only One
who has a say—
the only voice
that matters above all else.
So let the haters hate.
Let the liars lie.
Let them judge
as the world does.
Because my King
will protect me
from the evil
they try to place on me.
The lies they tell
will all unravel
when God shows them
He is with me
through it all.
So let the evil follow me—
Because my King
has the final say.
it's been too long not to be happy and live my own life
Let us say there is great devastation.'
In Venezula.!
In Columbia.!
In Ukraine.!
In Iran.!
Let us say, there is great devastation..!
In the USA there is homelessness.?
There is rampant, drug abuse.'
There is wholesale murder of the un-born;
Future.!
In the whole world inequality reigns.'
Let us say there is great devastation..!
Where is God we may say in all this.?
He is still waiting I remind myself.'
For you and me, to turn to Him..)
So that he may heal. All our great devastations.!

Every day it is a hundred and five
very little outside survives
This summer heat beats us down
grass dead, leaves brown
Not a whisper of rain in sight
heat fatigue even in the night
Stay inside pray the AC blows
constantly on, praying it won't explode
To hot to eat to hot to sleep
drinking water hydrated keep
Dogs kinda mossy than lie down
on the cool tile floor with em I'm found
Gentle rain drops soak deep in ground
than let it pour so lower temps cool us down
Give us a reprieve from this summer heat
Lord let it rain we will celebrate, praise and eat.

between valley and hill
below sky, over the ocean
