Let love live

I will be me as an anchor,
I will be me as an anchor,
But me saying as it will,
As the oceans pass I will,
As the stories tell I will.

Jermaine, this is a wonderfully meditative free verse piece. The repetition of "I will be me as an anchor" creates a powerful sense of grounding and steadfast identity. I love how the imagery opens up from that solid foundation to the sweeping motion of passing oceans and unfolding stories, all held together by the resolute and dreamy refrain of "I will." It is a beautiful, concise expression of determination and enduring love.
