Don't Let Babylon Burn

Don't Let Babylon Burn
Don't let Babylon burn,
Within her walls,
Upon her streets.
All wisdom shines.

Crucify rage which withers existence,
Fight the world with all your might,
Fight to keep the dream alive.

Let them crucify your generosity,
Let them sneer at your foolish ways,
You have your mind.
The pain, it belongs to you,
It's yours to keep.

The oracles, the bloody oracles,
Will choke on Delphian dust
As best-laid plans go up in flames
