Erasure

They existed, they were here
Real people made to disappear
Hidden history, lies and erasure
For them it was protocol
For us It became normal

What really is normal
In the conversation of racism
Of different rules
When it comes to black people
It becomes opposite -
What is, is what's not
What's not is what is
A confusing cycle
We are expected to follow
When they themselves
Aren't reliable

This isn't about judicial rule
More control of a certain race of people
Don't be fooled -
By the fake smiles they draw
This is not societal
This is purely individual
If it wasn't, their morals would be total
The system of law -
Would be equal
However that is not the case at all
When eradication is their goal

It's why they deny their history of violence
It's why they bury our stories in silence
It's why they bleach the stains of their hate
It's why they burn our bodies to rid of their guilt
It's why they drown our voices in the ocean of their lies
It's why our history books are empty of our ink - just the erasure of our names

Premium Member Class Action Law Suit

A New York pedestrian
filed a class action law suit
against all highrise dwelling pigeons
calling them a health hazard
and a public nuissance.
To his outrage the jury found
the pigeons not guilty on both
counts, arguing they were not
accountable for incontinence
much less negligence, whereas
the pedestrian had a bird’s brain
for not wearing a hat, or was too
cheap to buy an umbrella.

Premium Member The World Today

The world today is amazing
Simply because the Right is right
While the Left is just out
In Left field
Preaching to the ever dwindling crowd.

Who does the Right support?
Everyone who supports the Rule of Law.
Who does the Left support? Criminals.

And why? Who the hell knows,
But it probably has something
To do with equality.
Not equality under Rule of Law
But quality of result, regardless of means.

To follow the law or comply with

To follow the law or comply with
Asks Mister Smith

Forwarding though the current
Or drift

The flow is uncontrolled
The task is manifold

And distance within
This our engine
Appears both new and old

My only nemesis
Placing an emphasis

On something we must understand

Humanity fantasies
Trans and the extasies

Deity rules should be banned

As time you spend your day
In data flow
Don't be surprised to find yourself on deathly row

As reading of the fiction
Enriches your cognition
Invigorates the vision
With adequaCY THOUGH

And differing the fiction
And real facts of life
Is really your own mission
And target of your strive

Where computing meets
Unsolvable for it
My horse move greatly beats
And thus get you Merit

Distinction makes distinctive
And thus the difference
Who made wild life extensive
The flea adheres

Life of the parasites are for the parasites
To choose a way to earn approve

The Law of Wolves and Sheep

The only masters of words
are lawyers and politicians,
twisting syllables into chains,
binding the public
with illusions of justice.

International law?
A fragile parchment,
easily burned by power.
The mighty—
America and its allies—
violate it in daylight,
and walk away untouched.
The court that dares to judge them—
a kangaroo court,
mocking its own shadow.

And you, Africa,
you global south,
clinging to Roman-Dutch law,
do you not see?
You punish yourselves
with borrowed codes,
carrying wounds
not written for your soil.

Justice is no relic.
Law should be a river,
flowing with the times,
not a stone wall
blocking progress.

It should shield the weak,
balance the scales,
and light the path
toward a better society.

But in the world of wolves and sheep,
law is but a costume—
a shepherd’s cloak
draped over the wolf’s back,
while the flock dreams of safety,
never knowing
they are already lost.

Premium Member Out of Respect

At the monument to the Roman Emperor Hadrian near the Tower
There is no place to put flowers
But if they made a pedestal there
And wrote Put your flowers here
I’ve no doubt that
People would bring their flowers to the foot of the statue
Out of respect for law and order
What a good move that would be
And politically useful
Some rebel won't even notice
How he turns into one of the law-abiding citizens
He once laughed at
And now his rebellion is all about
Draining bottles and dancing to familiar music
When he is alone and feels free
Waving his hands in the air and pulling out a scary face.

Premium Member The second law of thermodynamics

I saw the second law of thermodynamics
loosely applied to my ceramics.
A tremor knocked my statue of Jesus to the floor,
and now He doesn't have a head anymore.
And the devil is in ecstatics.

Lord Cam's Law

When things are going right or good for a long time, something is about to go wrong. And vice versa when thigns are going wrong or bad for an extended period, something is about ready to go right. Something good is due.

Legal Eagles

'Oyez! Oyez! Oyez! all stand,'
said the bailiff before remand,
as legal eagles had looked for loopholes,
flaws in the law,
large enough to lose a lorry,
is that what they became lawyers for?
If I had taken their advice,
blindly handed out to me,
I'd have gone directly to jail,
if not in a trice.
Attorneys, barristers, solicitors,
ambulance chasers,
searching for victims
so they may litigate,
seen one you've seen them all,
what's not to hate?

The Black Box

They came to the house
for the wrong reason.
In the end…
They didn’t care,
any address would do,
as long as the reports were made,
and the numbers taken down
before the beginning of the next shift.

They came,
and they tested
and then they required adherence to the law.
What law?
The one law they painted into place for us…
from our lost imaginings,
and faith spent wrongly.

Together, trapped in the moment,
a single instance in time
that refused to pass to the next.
Nice words…
are echoed,
as if sung loudly in a cave,
dark with shadow,
and then immediately swallowed up…
in silence.

Fights, lessons in public places.
Brawls and beatings to show control,
where there is none…
and never will be.

Scuffs at first,
then real marks are ground onto
and then into the surface.
Marred deeply…
Becoming part of solid stone,
which will show
again with each days passing,
into forever.

“Ask yourself..., Who are the speaking about?”

Premium Member Law of karma

the thought that we are separate
is simply what’s called the ego
pursuing its own well-being
attachments afraid to let go

this false identity serves us
to navigate this harsh terrain
but somewhere the soul’s script is lost
and then life is felt as a strain

there then are two of us in here
one the ego, other the soul
love is the pulse that determines
what path we should take to feel whole

karma, law of cause and effect
arises from ego’s craving
whilst if we but choose to be still
soul’s free from desires enslaving

love alone resolves all conflicts
so it’s really up to us
to succumb to lust or to rise
by getting aboard God’s bliss bus

when ego acts karma rebounds
as fate birthed by seeds we did sow
being but our brothers calling
to repay debts of love we owe
