By Faith, Or By Works Of The Law
Paul poses a vital question here
one which brings an eternal outcome
which means one has to get it right
the consequences leave one numb
Do you receive the Holy Spirit
by faith or by works of the law?
surely, only by believing in God
can real faith not have any flaw
So why so often does mankind do
trusting in works of the law depends
when God has made it so clear
the gospel with His Son did send
Foolishness sums up mankind
ever since the fall up to now
they still trust in the flesh
thinking they still don't know how
God's plan is always by the Spirit
and only in the Spirit can God be known
reject all other false, foolish sounds
trust only in Jesus, our chief cornerstone
(Galatians 3:2-3)
2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?)
