he entered the house with mewing in his pocket
my daddy nearly tore down the wall with a light socket
Those better not be kittens, I cannot stand them, he said
This one likes you a lot, said my Uncle Ned
He sat one of the squalling crawling things on Daddy’s lap
Daddy acts like a hard nose, but he can be a pure sap
To this day, we are laughing about how fast he said
I am naming this one after my brother, Ornery Ned.

*Are you kidding me, gw?
Precious kittens move my heart -
I’ve known this since small.
Whether still or in crazed dart,
they enthrall my all.
Silk furs, whiskers, purrs -
all make resistance depart
while cat love occurs.
My cat has lots of whiskers,
whiskers on her face,
and above her bright green eyes,
appearing like lace.
And some in her ears,
whiskers on whiskers, whiskers
like tiny white spears !
My beloved Cats and Kittens
My Loving cats and kittens
Show me the higest form of love-Unconditional Love
Love without bounds or boundaries.
Unquestioning and unwavering Love.
Why do we call the good old days,
good?
Grandma was always talking,
talking about the days that had passed.
I wonder if they were really that good,
or does our mind play a trick on us?
Grandma loved sitting on her porch,
looking out over her land in her rocking chair.
Now the old rustic white fence,
is falling down from the last storm.
Her once beautiful flowers are all dead,
dead just like her.
"By the squeaky old gate that tomorrow will find,"
sits an old tan and orange alley cat.
Oh how she loved to feed her stray cats,
then play with their furry kittens.
Will the squeaky old gate find a new tomorrow,
or be torn down and rebuilt with cement?
I'M STILL HERE
IT ALL STARTED WHEN I WAS 10 YEARS OLD
I WAS MOLESTEDFOR 5 YEARS FROM MY DAD
AND RAPED BY MY BROTHER
BUT I"M STILL HERE
I HAVE BEEN BEATENWITH A TOW CHAIN
AND MY HOUSE WAS SET ON FIRE WITH ME IN IT
BUT I"M STILL HERE
I HAVE BEEN BEATENAND THROWEN THREW A BIG PICTURE WINDOW
AND WAS RIPED FROM ALL MY CLOTHES OFF
BUT I"M STILL HERE
I WAS RAPED ON SEVERAL ACCOUNTSBY MY MOM'S
BOYFRIEND AND HIS SON
BUT I'M STILL HERE
I HAVE HAD OVER 11 SURGERIES PLATES AND SCREWS
ALL DOWN MY RIGHT HAND SIDE
BUT I'M STILL HERE
I WAS SLIPPED DOWNERS IN MY DRINKS
AND ALMOST DIED
BUT I'M STILL HERE
I WAS BEATEN SO BAD BY MY HUSBAND THAT WHEN THE OFFICERS
TOOK ME TO WHERE MY BROTHER AND SISTERS CAMPSITE
THEY DIDN'T EVEN RECONGIZE I WAS
BUT I'M STILL HERE
I WAS VERBALLY ABUSEDON SEVERAL ACCOUNTS
AND SOMETIMES I THINK IT"S WORSE
BUT IM STILL HERE
THE REASON FOR THIS POEM IS NEVER GIVE UP
CAUSE IM STILL HERE
An excited happy clowder of cats and a kindle of kittens
Were tearing up yarn I used to think I needed for mittens
I watched them and laughed, for they were a delight
Their rolling and tumbling was a really sweet sight
With a poem and a song in my heart and my mind
saw my calico and fur ball take yarn they could quickly unwind
put out all the scraps, for it was Christmas time after all
I had not had this much fun since the last time they slid in the hall
The beautiful evening sky had but little to say about us
As I gathered my cuddle babies, with nary a fuss.
We laid on the couch and watched the kittens have fun.
They had a spectacular Christmas, and I mean everyone.
Some people do not realize that my cats are my children now.
They treat me better than my own children ever knew how.
I love my clowder of cats and my kindle of kittens.
I can buy other yarn to make my grandchildren mittens.
litter of kittens
loudly suckling moms warm milk
all fluffy and soft
Don’t you dare rock the boat!
Get in line, sweet, poet kitten.
Or find yourself, under our mote,
With leather gloves. you’ll be smitten!
Just pretend life is perfect and fun.
You must pay homage to us, each morn
Lest we show you the door, and then some.
These are our stern rules, do not ignore!
The poet did this for five years straight.
She ran out of things to pen, beautiful!
What if she decided to change her fate?
And write for her God, who is immutable!

Ode To My Kittens
My 3 cutest Little Kittens went missing on my birthday in May
And I haven't seeing them since.
That Morning I came outside, yearning for their usual greeting.
But they wee nowhere in sight.
Orangee, a pretty one I called Patricee, and a spotted white one I called Whitee.
My lonely heart overflowed with share love for them.
Now I am somewhat heartbroken.
Dear Lord Please send me another Litle Kitten to soothe my lost soul.
Kittens love robots and robots love kittens.
Should we be concerned?
Is there something those two would like to tell us?
Besides, cowabungaaaaaaa, coming through, who wants to touch me?!
Here's a it sucks to be you smack for you, wait your turn. Here's a smack for you to enjoy while you look at me zoom on by on my Roomba. While my robot friend dances the rumba.
On a steel horse I ride....
Three kittens lost in a ball of yarn,
Will be lost before the storm!
Played and rolled all day long,
Forgot the time,
Began a song.
Now it's too long!
Failure to heed,
Left them without speed!
Wrapped up tight,
In a yarn ball tonight!
No one will see,
The three kittens that used to be!
Seated in a coffee-shop
an extra-large with hot milk
and a slice of decadence
await her indulgence
she leans forward
and spontaneously reacts
to her companion’s
whispered observation
rose-red laughter
pours white-water loud
from her joy-filled mouth
her floating hand
gee-jawing above the table-top
enthusiastically conducts
the wheeze-gasp spasms of her mirth
she unloads like rolling thunder
pounding the other patrons
as they de-caff-dunk
their croissants
huge, mesmerising
her sheer abandon
reduces all others
to a whisper
a stolen glance
some harrumph
others smile
I would love to hug her
to chat with her
about dinosaurs and daffodils
carburetors and kittens
to fall asleep
next to her smile.
