Premium MemberKING COBRA

Confronted eye to eye
Deep in the jungle
A Bite
Predator venom attack
Accelerating poison
Effect thereafter
Slowly shortness of breath
The thought how much time left
Body rhythms started to erupt
Suddenly black out
King Cobra took charge
Control and Large
Death was slowly sinking in
Medical Staff response arrived
Luckily in time
The venom was quickly extracted
Victim survived the ordeal
Could have been worse
The venom could have been with no reverse
Curse of the King Cobra
Caution alert
Beware

Premium MemberBetween Darkness And Light

Darkness corrupted my soul
But light only burned my flesh
A steady stairway to heaven
Transmogrified into the highway to hell
I'm not even sure I'm okay
I'm still north of Hell
But deep south from Heaven
My words squirm like mice
Confronting a King Cobra
Starting to dance like a jester
Maybe I always was a clown
For believing in life, liberty,
And the pursuit of happiness
Like, I still strive to be whimsical
Caked in the batter of despair
Just put me in the oven
But there's humor in the sadness
There's laughter in the tears
There's anger in the joy
And rage in the peace
Shatter the mirror to pieces
Reflecting my face on each shard
It's impossible to find the real me
But perhaps they're all real
And I'm faking their fictionality
So in the end I'm still just a phony
Selling the words I say
Instead of the words I mean
But sometimes the heart feels
That which words cannot articulate
So I might drown in the darkness
But I'll only fry in the light
So I'll take a mallet and bash the walls
Just to watch them all fall
And I'll forge my own path
Somewhere between light and dark
That is where the meaning of man
Will surely be found

What common house pet is nocturnal?
My king cobra? You guess.
Is that a COMMON house pet?
It is common at my house.

Maybe my cat? Another pet-owner ventures to guess.
In truth both dogs and cats are natural nocturnal beings.
However, dog has learned to adapt to his master’s schedule.
Choosing to sleep when he sleeps.

Cat prowls off doing her own thing,
caring not what her captors are doing.
She meets other cats in the alley
or the field or the orchard
and......they howl with wolves.
Cats cannot be contained or censored.

Premium Memberwhat is the deal

king cobra rose up and gave the tourist a fantastic smile
She began screaming as if he were a bear or a crocodile
What is the deal? He asked his cousin, who was lying around on a tile.
I have no idea, humans are crazier here than they were on the Nile.

ZIGZAG ZEBRA

          Zigzag zebra started to gallop
          to reach a book shop
          saying ‘Hi !’
           to buy
           the text book Algebra.

             He was offered a milkshake
                  by a scary snake.
The shop owner was King Cobra.

           Zebra got afraid,
            ran and fled
             to meet a monkey
             sitting on back of donkey.

Monkey jumped and hit zebra with tail.
            Nothing more to tell.
          That’s the end of tale.

Aren'T Chickens Just So Big

Aye, the Chicken.
Not the Wolf, Not the Lion, Not the King Cobra, Not the Rhino, Not the Shark,
but the Chicken.
Absolutely massive is this Chicken.
I mean, if you
could picture two California Redwoods but, rather than red bark
 it's more bamboo-esque...

That's this big ass Chicken.
And I, the Ant, have to dodge this demonic, cawing Chicken who can look down but doesn't
while I am almost crushed by a Chicken.

Are you even still listening? Why'd I expect a Human to understand?

Lying-In-State

And the world stood still
When the liar took centre-stage
Cameras flashing
Tapes rolling
Recorders battling to take down his voice…

They all know
That lies unending endlessly flow
From his bottomless tank
Rolling off his tongue
As a bard chants royal praises…

They all took it in
Clapping for their hero
Waving his hands in the air
Smiling sheepishly
In the knowledge that the truth
Shall never surface…

But he knows not
That the truth is right behind
His back
Like a hump
Sitting beautifully on a hunchback
It is right with him…

Albeit the truth is despised
The many crowd hailing the sweet liar
Bail him not
Never will they
When the bell tolls
When the alarm rings
And the truth tackles the man
On whose lips falsehood thrives…

The crowd then shall sing
And dance in glee
As the white-robed liar
Becomes the brown-ragged beggar
In the hands of truthful revolution…

Await the day
For it is currently lying-in-state
Readying its fangs
Like a tormented king cobra
Waiting to strike
At the time so beautifully right…

Slithering Meat

Reptile meat got a foul swallow
The creeping things they eat
emit putrid vapors ...
vocal odors lemmings do follow

Falling off the cliff
into the mouth ...
Bask in the saliva nasty

Get paralyzed stiff —
a human mouse ...
Cheesy flavor of a patsy

Snakes eat rats
Big boa sin swallow up
little mice men

Slithering meat
is an abominable eat

Humans eat the snake
that ate the rat
Viper lip spitting fake
was a lying cat

Ouroboros wail,
head eating the tail
Gator toes tipping the scale;
safe open ... lock failed

The creeping things you eat
will give you weasel daydreams
Gorge on the slithering meat,
digest Bubonic Plague schemes

Snakes eat rats
King cobra sin swallow up
pawn mice men

Humans eat the snake
that has flicker love for the Mickey
Fork lips spitting fake,
Komodo dragon claws blood lickey

Ouroboros wails,
serpent head eating the rodent tails
Tapering toes charm the faint frails;
jaws open ... heart failed

A wicked, pulmonary feed
is slithering in the high, tall weeds
A taste of paralyzing greed
will molt covetously into evil deeds

Knowing a Trap

All the markings of danger read,
actions upon it make you dead;
back off from it by prudence's stead.

King cobra fangs and crueler things,
cautions wary and messages brings;
attacks come like a siren sings.

A ship captain must know to moor,
when typhoon waves strike the shore;
a trap is set as in classical lore.

Knaves and scholars face equal risk,
the silent sudden attack is brisk;
the unforeseen trap is swift as a whisk.

A man, a warrior makes plans in haste,
he has no time for justice to waste;
but wisdom tells the poison pill is laced.

King Goes Into Trance

                                    Ballerina dance
                      On seeing her stance
             King goes into trance

King wants to tango
He looks like Django
Under the tree - mango

              The cutie says "No!"
                   "King! please let me go
I am not in moe "

                                   The cutie in fear
Jumps on the chair - near
              King hissed up the gear

09.03.16

The inspiration was a picture of a scared Ballerina on her toe over a chair watching something very fearful and I have imagined it as a King cobra ...

Politely

He sparks the fiery conversation
Ever so slightly, she warms to his cool attentions
Inviting his charm and well placed punctuation
Approving of his advances and clear intentions

It starts out a suffocating initiation
With some discomfort and smoke inhalation
His saxes laughter clearing the air, hitting all her right notes
The tension easing into a sweltering and stimulating intercourse

Her horoscope confirming his bioscope
A sultry extension of her leg...a gentle stroke
His ego becomes the king cobra to her serpent like eyes
Thirsty for something darker than red wine, she licks his lips

Tongues intertwine like forks
His heart howls softly like a fox
Teasing him with silky underwear...
Forbidden to touch like her Tupperware

King Cobra

When spoken to talk lightly,
     I have no good advice.
A King of cobras answered me
What he told me then was this.

"There are different things to say
     Different things to do
     A different path to choose
A different way that you lose. . ."

     I didn't hear you clearly;
     I didn't catch your name.
     Fire burns my conscience,
But no one is to blame.

     "Others walk a silken thread,
     Others never knew.
Little are those things I know
     I never knew I knew."

     A cobra and a liar;
     A Beggar and a thief!
     A missing intuition
     Without meaning or belief.

"You are other things you say,
     You are half a day;
     You would answer callously
     And I would go away."

Who would ask me what you know?
     Who would like your name?
     No one told you endlessly
That I am just the same!

     "Walk or talk in bargains;
     Sell me for a price.
Your conscience has the upper hand,
     And I was never nice."

The Revenge

Unleaving an untitled archive
for the blind turner
the sizzling weather was over –

as the hawk descends
on a wounded hyena
digging a grave.

Each mortality had a price,
the justice had to pay
for unfaithful wife.

To be far away from the image
in the eyes of a queen
the king cobra strikes back.

The Trouser Snake

There once was a king cobra called Lance,
Who heard music and went in a trance.
People thought he was asleep,
As his thoughts were so deep.
Then he reared up and lunged for their pants.
