Rain pours,
Thunder snores,
Hail comes pelting down.
Sheets of water,
Everywhere.
I feel like I may drown.
Running through,
Deserted parks,
Looking for somewhere to stay.
A lightning strike,
Like a spike of light,
Causing the night to fray.
Finding a roof,
Solid as rock,
Relief comes flooding in.
A place to stay,
At least till day.
My energy is running thin.
I’m only fourteen,
No where to live,
Whatever shall I do?
