With each quick swishing away
A grass within
This thought does spring:
How much more is hid from us
In their thinking?
Farmed, from out this, such can we
Firm as fearless
Stands, stares access.
Not just bored with; bewildered!
Mooing, mock less!
They say that the truth is a hard thing to take,
but maybe it’s time that we see
that we as a people are nothing but fake,
ensuring that’s how it will be.
We stand up demanding there’s tolerance,
doing so with our fists in the air.
It’s truly the oddest dance ever been danced,
hypocrisy beyond compare.
We claim we want peace but we seek the next fight
as we keep our guns close to the door.
Convincing ourselves that we stand for what’s right
when the truth is we’re actually just bored.
We say that we want to be free men,
while we ride our past into the ground.
We claim that we run from our demons,
but we really just keep them around.
And we live our lives waiting for the next offense,
needing others to kindle the flame.
We’re a common collective without common sense
like the scarecrow not having a brain.
So, let’s go on pretending we live for the truth
but the truth is we’re living a lie,
for each soul who actually lives for the truth…
we find a way to crucify.
A fading song…
A fading song can always be repeated.
Until I’m bored.
Never calm, just bored.
A fading song…
Is finally allowed to fade…
Completely.
After I fall asleep.
Boring, meaningless sleep.
He drew the drapes, nothing caught his eye
it seemed that yesterday had replicated itself,
only today it had chosen a deeper of gray tint.
On balance, it could have been
the color of stale puke, for the night
had up-chucked its darkness into a
sickly yellow
morning bucket of bile.
Examining his mind, he ascertained by
the laborious task of magnifying
the inconsequential
that he was not clinically depressed
just bored.
Later that day he bought a black puppy,
to remind himself that he was apparently
no longer the center of the universe,
a position he had held
to be inviolate until now.
The demotion was irksome.
He took the French Bulldog to Walmart,
claiming loudly that it was a service animal
for he had need of a dumb friend.
His new dumb friend peed on him
in the candy aisle
and generally acted like it was the center
of the universe, a notion reinforced
by its many casual admirers.
That dog was having a great day,
and by the next day he felt it was quite acceptable
to be its little helper and general factotum,
for it absolutely beats
trying to play God 7 days a week
and no day of rest.
My shadow dances on the ceiling
I am not who I seem
Driving down the alley way
Damned in boredom
I have no destination
All things are bleek
Things aside, heaven is free
Of paramount importance
Stars dance around me
Makes no sense to some degree
Just bored I guess to be
A Sad Christmas
There was a time when passion ruled their life
But time and ailments stepped in to betray.
She never felt she'd be that aging wife
But as years passed it just worked out that way.
He was still giving, faithful, kind and true.
Like siblings now, no romance was a part
Of a sad distance that between them grew.
She felt remoteness deep within her heart.
She tried to fan the flames with poetry
Yet discontentment shown upon his face.
Her rhymes just bored him, it was plain to see
No romance for her lingered, not a trace.
She tucked away her love filled photographs
Resigned that dreams would be her epitaph.

Did we win
Are we winning
Who won
Its just the beginning
Here they come
look over there
BOOM wasn't them
Just some kids we don't care
Were on the move now
Gonna blast through this place
Were on the move and how
When were done aint gonna be a trace
What is all this for
Were we just bored
Whatever possessed us
Time to answer to the Lord
Things we've done
We can't take back
So just beware mankind
Gods gonna counter attack
I'd treat you like a princess if I were your man
For your love, I'd step in front of a van.
That sexy smile and those beautiful brown eyes
I'd be compelled, I could never tell you lies.
I couldn't be with someone as thin as a stick
Nothing against them, I just like my thighs thick.
Big and beautiful, I feel your heart of gold
I think you're a good mum, in case you ain't been told.
I don't find energy like yours very often, you are very rare
A beauty like yours will make me stop and stare.
God you're stunning, you make my heart smile
Please forgive my ways, I have my own style.
I'm like no one that you've ever met
I'll change your world, me you'll never forget.
I'm a chameleon, my ways I can change
I'm honestly nice, just a little strange.
You give me a reason and I'll show you a heart
Only if I gave up on us would make the drinking start.
I don't actually need it, I'm just bored in a fake reality
My only other down fall, would be my vanity.
We looked at him with children’s eyes
Way back in fifty two
He rode and roped and wore real spurs
Like all true cowboy’s do.
We thought that deep within his soul
A sense of humor grew
We’d seen it in our Western folks –
With him nobody knew.
Then came one night of Halloween –
We’re at the picture show,
Ol’ Frankenstein was at his best
Just moanin’ soft and low
We heard a ghostly scream and then
A curdlin’ Texas yell -
A horseman ridin’ up the aisle
Like he was straight from Hell
We cowered way down in our seats
He laughed and reared his horse
Then he rode out the other aisle
His screamin’ just got worse.
We peered above the tops of seats
And watched this ghostly man
Ride out the way that he came in
And robbed the popcorn stand.
We left the show, ran to the street,
The horseman was long gone
Our cowboy friend sat in his truck –
Just bored and all alone.
We told him all that we had seen,
He said, “I heard the noise..
You never know ‘bout Halloween,
Have some popcorn boys.”

I’m bored with life
Each week repeats its self
Into what seems to be
Eternity
Where’s the sense of adventure
I know what will happen
Each moment of each day
Then each week seems to fade away
I know the definition of insanity
To repeat the same thing over and over again
To expect different results
But I know it will always be the same
I'm not insane I'm just bored
With a monotonous life
But what is life if not monotonous
A continuous stream of 24 hour segments
If people were noodles and lakes were their soup,
Sudbury's basin would be a great scoop.
300 lakes or just a bit more.
Some have been counting and some are just bored.
Sudbury's water is healthy and clean
leaving our noodles shining with gleam.
Fresh water soup minus the salt,
fresh as going into; fresh by default.
Trees for our parsley cover our shores
keeping us fancy and breathing for more.
Soup we serve fresh out of each bowl
welcoming noodles the world whole.
They called him Jumper
He preferred Prancer
When he was happy he would prance
Giant circles of joy
And the dizziness
Too many beers and staggers
For 365 days waiting times 4
He would dress himself outlandishly
Feathers and painting his face
He loved the Mamba and espresso
Dancing to the beat and the heat
But February 29th he could leap and pride
Gyrating crazily leaping from space to space
Time warp again
Disco fever
Never tiring
It only happens once every 4 years
Leap frog when he was a child
Monty Python taught him how to leap from tree to tree
He did the Lumberjack
His jeans had done the Hop on Bandstand
He had bell bottom genes
While in South America he did the Anaconda
Bunny Hop with children as he walked
Loved the song Fandango
While hunting his horse taught him the Foxtrot
Auntie Mame be proud
His favorite was Leaping
Once every 4 years
Just bored so I typed nonsense
How am I supposed to feel
If I don’t feel anything no more
You say you will walk out that door
Why do I not care anymore
You say I’ve been cheating
You say you caught me talking to some guy,
but I’m done crying, lying and pleading for you
Cant you tell I am through
Your to jealous to comprehend
I think this is the end
How am I supposed to feel
If I don’t feel anything no more
You say you will walk out that door
Why do I not care anymore
I’m supposed to feel lost and scared
But really I just don’t care
I’m sick of you complaing that I’m through
Just go and walk out that door
I know I’m not guilty your just bored
Trying to make look like a whore
But I’m not so just quit it
How am I supposed to feel
If I don’t feel anything no more
You say you love me but that’s a lie
You would do anything to say goodbye
I’m tired of you and I’m tired of this
I don’t feel like fighting for something I don’t even feel for
So I’m through and I’m walking out that door.
