bliss pierces barriers in form 
manifesting a benign storm
dust shaken, we here awaken
engulfed by currents, cool and warm

discarding concepts mistaken
we know we’re never forsaken
breath by breath, as we’re transformed 
path’s clear, our resolve unshaken

when was the last time we danced in the rain ~
oh, how we wish to be a child again

Steps

Another season in life
A time of activation
Celebration, rejuvenation
In due time
Unwind, renewal of mind
Enjoying the sunshine.

Steps for better
Steps seriously taken

COLIN AND TIM

A field where tall bony trees,
Where hums the cool gentle breeze. 

In the gentleness of the grass green,
There lived two rabbits Colin and Tim. 

Colin and Tim two best friends,
Lived in little caves in the grassland. 

Colin looked like autumn and fallen leaves,
His roasted chestnut fur like all hallows' eve.

All that exists everywhere is God’s heartbeat,
each module representative of the whole,
delighting as polarities meet and greet,
dancing to love’s rhythm whilst playing their life role,
wherein as pulsations of rapture repeat,
the dance of bliss continues without a goal

if we are poised as awareness self-aware.

wee hours of the morn, alone in our bed
silence layered silence, so all was well
a door opened and we were by love led
suffused by sublime scents in body shell
origins of which, God alone can tell
as bliss pheromones in feeble form bred
of this boon of grace, what more can be said

Everday

Tomorrow will be today
And today will be yesterday
After all today was once tomorrow
So here’s a little cheer to borrow

Today is today
Yesterday was yesterday
Let tomorrow be on the morrow
Then you’ll have a little less sorrow

The eyes of a child

Look at a ladybug 
happily frolicking
on a plant
Count all her 
little black dots 
and let her crawl 
onto your hand

Keep watching as she
spreads her wings 
and carefully picks 
her moment to fly 
Watch how her red
catches the sunlight 
as if seeing this
for the very first time

Inside walls where shadows dance bright,
Lived Max the mouse, heart full of light.
     By the soft candle's glow,
     He would shiver, you know,
As he warmed his tiny paws through the night.

the clock strikes dusk 
the sun fades away
a thousand golden lights blinks 
to set the scene on fire

crowds carouse
for the merry-go-round
that bright crown of the carnival night

under that picturesque parasol
children clamber up the golden saddles
atop alabaster rides 
galloping through infinity

then drums snare with cymbals 
while clarinets and woodwinds shriek
in jubilant symphony

laughter jingle 
as the circle

Lights Before the Fall

They say time is precious,
They say live, enjoy the highs and lows,
But when I’m up there on the Ferris wheel’s crest,
All I think of is the fall that follows.

Yet I feel the joy,
I feel it in every loop,
That wild moment when I bellow in joy,
Even knowing the drop is coming soon.
