Break the jinx

Consciousness evolves as it flows along
the cycle of existence feeling lost,
looking for a place where it does belong 
but in this search heart pays a heavy cost.

Fleeting is joy and lingering is pain,
with attachments scarring fabric of soul
and freedom thought as boon has become bane,
for distanced from source, it never feels whole.

A time comes when

Jinx Is Perfect

He slowly, gently dipped her body into the water,
As he held her back carefully while her face was submerged,
All around the father and the daughter were lightning and thunder.

Desire the jinx

Desire, the jinx, be watchful, heart
Double-check each impulse
Path is simple, add love to cart
Feel within bliss beat’s pulse
