Dear Mr president
I seem to be in a spot of bother,
Would you please grant me a pardon
before you depart the oval room,
Seeking a change of reality
I ran away and joined the circus
well actually it was more a sideshow
Ringmaster said I’d fit in better with the midget contortionist,
however I was drawn towards the Siamese triplets,
joined together at their knees and elbows since birth
We got up to all sorts of hi jinx and Shenanigans life was great,
til the one in the middle decided to leave our troupe,
Me being their best friend they asked would I do the separation,
eager to help them I agreed to perform the operation
Not having a clue about surgery
I decided to knock them out with a sledgehammer
borrowed from the strongman,
and use the knife throwers sharpest blades,
I butchered them remorselessly for hours,
was a very difficult operation,
but wholly satisfying for me anyway,
Unfortunately but not unexpectedly,
the middle one suffered the most cuts and bled out pretty quick,
the other two died days later in multiple beds,
I was put in some hospital for the criminally insane,
and doped up to my eyeballs on potent medication,
actually settled in quite nicely here,
Worse part though is I had a fantastic combover like yours
now they shave my head every other day
Some say they’ll never let me out,
only occasionally do I think of going on killing rampages,
I’m not getting on to well with the parole board, “mostly democrats”
but hope to marry the midget contortionist, on our next imaginary visit,
The circus was disbanded, shortly after,
and they all live on welfare now,
bunch of really great guys.
I’m a republican

Failure is what I am called
Since the time I can recall
Born on the 7th
Which is generally a jinx
I grew up being called a minx
My mother died when I was two
And people said with it I had something to do
I became an object to tease
It took my inner peace
Wherever I went I would cause hindrance
So I started believing in my unluckiness
I grew up to be a freak
And people would call it a family streak
I could never complete my studies
Like the rest of my street buddies
The street urchin became my love
But she thought of me as a pet dove
`Marry me’ I said one day to her
And she called me a failure
And here I am standing today
About to bid everyone good day
For today is the day of my execution
Maybe this would complete the calculation
Jack is my name, laughter is my game
If I can make just one person giggle
It's mission accomplished for me
It's my goal in life in my retirement years
I'm happy so why not let some of it rub off
Everyone gets to where I am eventually
Unless war or some unfortunate mishap
Interrupts their journey along the way
Personally, I've been extremely fortunate
Never really suffered from any serious health issues
Might say I'm possibly putting a jinx on myself
If you believe in that sort of stuff... which I don't
I put it down to good genes...
A healthy lifestyle and exercise
Once you adjust, the routine becomes a lot easier
Until you actually look forward to the daily routine
As you greet each brand new day
I WISH YOU MUCH LUCK!!!

Joe and Jacque almost met on a Friday in 1996, but not really
They kind of glanced at each other, not speaking
In line for a train heading to Hanover Park, Illinois.
He did not even know her name or hear her voice
An internal voice whispered “kismet”, so he paid attention.
His friend nodded in her direction, saying “See the redhead?
She is mine.”
Joe knew better, some instinct said she was his, but he kept silent.
His friend, Sam, was known to be a hothead,
and he did not want to start a fuss.
Sam got off at his stop, and he travelled to the next car to find her.
The mystery woman was not there, so Joe kept going.
At the next stop he watched her disembark.
Thousands of Chicago workers ride the train to the city,
so he figured it was up to fate as to whether he would see her again.
Joe did not see her for a year and a day.
he knew because it was his birthday when he found her.
Jacque looked up and smiled.
“Where have you been?” She asked. “I have looked for you.”
This was news to him. “
Destiny told me that you were going to be in my life,” she added.
He sat down next to her and asked if he could hold her hand.
It was slim and soft.
He got her phone number, and her address,
feeling a joy that made his heart sing.
Her grandmother had been praying she would meet a lovely spouse.
His grandmother had been praying that he would settle down.
They recognized each other instantly at their grandchildren’s wedding.
“Kismet!” they said, then “jinx!”
Nothing more powerful than two praying grandmothers
who had once been best friends since the fifth grade!
In a whimsical world of witty wonder,
Where laughter lingers, lost not in thunder,
There danced a dandy with a dapper flair,
Sporting red shoes, a vivid vision, rare.
He pranced in patterns, a playful sprite,
His heels clicking, a rhythmic delight,
With every step, a spark would ignite,
A fiery frolic in the soft silver light.
"Fickle feet, with a flamboyant beat,
Wherever you frolic, you'll never admit defeat,"
He chuckled in tempo, his spirits alight,
A crimson carousel in the pale moonlight.
The shoes, they whispered of wild escapades,
Of jaunts and jamborees in sunny glades,
With alliterative antics, they'd gladly regale,
A tapestry of tales, a merry mirthful trail.
"Gallivanting goofs, you garner grins,
With every jig, the joy never ends,"
He jested with glee, his heart aflutter,
As red shoes shimmied, in a boisterous banter.
Through the town he'd twirl, a torrent of cheer,
A jovial jester, no jinx could come near,
For in those red shoes, he found his due mirth,
A boundless bonanza, a celebration of birth.
So, let's raise a toast to the red shoe revue,
Where humor and heart in harmony brew,
And in every step, let laughter ensue,
For life's too short to wear shoes so blue.
I get weak everytime we talk, my walls come crushing down without a thought ,
My heart flatters at your voice,
Though we've never met I don't feel any paranoid,
I put some distance because Iam scared, What if I fall head first and break my neck, What if I spend another few years trying to convince you Iam worth loving, that Iam worth it,
So many what ifs rushing through my head,
Iam naive in my actions and you make me lose my vocal cord,
I refuse to tell a tale incase I jinx this,
See, I don't mind having you as my own,
I don't mind loving you without a thought,
I mean, Iam already vulnerable,
See, I have come across many men but the type you are, I have never, the type you are is quite rare.

The Masked Mulluss
Or "The Jinx" made his
Unannounced in ring debut
"Trouble " Flake Flemming
And "Longshore" Gobble sought
Observance, from ringside.
The announcers nearly cursed
The masked man, giving him no
Chance against former all wrestling
Pro champion, Fox Dicey.
Seven minutes in All Dicey.
Nine minutes in The masked man
Rallies to offence, making waste of
The former champion. A whip into
The ropes, flying drop kick by the
Masked Man, he lifts his opponent
And a small package finds him on
The defending end. Kickout one two.
"A what say ya" clothes line out of
The far corner send the former champ
Into a 360 flip. Followed by A levdrop,
One, two, three, we have a winner!
" In titanium haze of love,
truth is but a mere lie,
never unlocking gold vaults
of feelings, for,
honesty weeps somewhere
in perfumed odes of
inkless pages,
hidden in our forlorn fate..."
If twilight roses were
reincarnated angels,
they would carve
a zillion destinies
with feathered letters,
flickering beneath
butterfly glitters,
adhering glossy
wings of rosemary,
like a balm to
invisible scars
and encasing
my soul in a
hundred hues
of blood.
But, I never knew,
the secrets of
nebulous-cloaked
vengeance which
infused in
nightingale's
forevermore fortunes,
echoing eerie whispers
in elora moors of
scarlet jasmines,
at the jinx of
midnight's omen;
for thou emerged
as a lover in
ninety-nine novels,
but a guised
killer in the
farewell fantasy.
As I float by,
in the swan lake,
losing myself to thee,
I wish upon
defrosting your eyes,
that got submerged
beneath icebergs
of betraying harbinger
and bleed my soul
in frosted heart's
snow-sealed
milky ways,
as these flaked
clayey leaf
pamphlets of
sakura scents
aren't enough
to erase thy
fingerprints from this
poisoned chalice,
that sung sinful
serenades in
deadly paradise
of Eurydice
and sliced my spirit
to sooty shreds,
in this diamond dungeon
behind sage valleys.
Laced in
ash grey lies,
I'm a corpse
enveloped in
crimson croons
of confetti,
whilst lips
soak acrylic
dewdrops of
melting roses,
that once
blanketed our
eden in the
arms of heaven,
with starlit petals.
So, as Nymph,
in the orisons,
with hemlock
fused heart,
be all my sins
remembered.
For, love is a
smoke raised
with the fume
of sighs, demising
to sacrificed
meadows, where,
this kismet tale
departs in the
very ecstacy
of cradling mist,
and thus,
with disoriented
twilight's kiss, I die.
