Jerusalem

It can last, twelve centuries,
It would be time to milk the cows,
To sit around a table,
To fly marvellous kites
Above Palestine,

Jerusalem, was long an Egyptian,
Then Canaanite, with Jesus Christ
At last the Israelites came,

Should we believe the Bible? Solomon?
Should we believe David? Where?
I refer to Wikipedia,
Nostradamus here took the throne,
Then the Greeks settled here.

The History of Jerusalem, my friend
Wasn’t made in a day,
The Romans are renovating the city,
Where the New Testament begins,
but the Jews are stubborn,

Hadrien erected temples
To make the city pagan,
She even lost her name,

The city becomes a Holy City again,
from the seventh century,
Then Arabs settled,
it can last twelve centuries,
It’s time to milk the cows.

This New Jerusalem with towers made of glass
Shines dazzling bright upon the old satanic mills
Cloned Holy Lamb with mouth full of grass
Looks picturesque on the background of green hills
Let’s stop to take some selfies smiling silly
Let’s shorten to one line the past time lives
The future’s here, and exactly as was willing
This New Jerusalem reflects in our eyes
We common mortals do not really matter
It’s fine by us to stay behind the scenes
While VIPs are doomed to sing the old libretto
We improvise, to hear the grinding of those mills.

Premium Member Jerusalem On The Rocks

Jerusalem On The Rocks
One day, when all of the nations are against me
World powers on the earth are full of rage
They gather around Jerusalem in war
I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock, into tomorrow.
All those who try to destroy her, will fail
Have a watchful eye over Judah from above
Be a follower of Jesus
Watch for me in the clouds
They will all turn to dust like the fallen
One day we will meet again
‘Not one stone will be on top of another
A new Heaven and a new Earth
Sin will be gone forever
All those who stand with me will live 1,000 years
Zechariah 12:3

Through the stillness, I find my way home
where the Sacred resides and the Still Waters Flow,
and the Great Ohm Resonates in the Higher Plane
and the Great Mystery is Unveiled, ZIN URU, The Great Breaker Of Chains
only from within can peace be found
within the Inner Seas an Emerald Crown
But, one must Fear Not for Truth Runs Deep
through the Oceans of the Heart, One must Sail indeed
through the Chaos of the World, Set Apart
For, True Jerusalem is never too far

Jerusalem 1969

Resting on a bench
outside the old city wall
I heard a tapping.
A blind man was approaching.
As he felt his way
he would tap my legs,
so I said hello.
He sat beside me
and asked who I was.
I spoke no Hebrew,
Shlomo hardly any English.
He tried German and Spanish.
A little French we had in common.
Lonely I guess,
he asked me
back to his place,
a short walk
and down to a basement,
bare essentials
spotless.
He brewed coffee,
cautioned me
not to move anything
lest he could not find it.
He had lost his sight
in the Arab Israeli war of 1948.
There was much else
he tried to share.
I listened
but could not comprehend.
I felt humbled.
When I left
he was so grateful,
gave me his address.
I wrote
but did not hear back.
Who would read it for him?

Ladies in Jerusalem

Ladies in Jerusalem

I looked up the Wikipedia to see if a man I had known
for thirty years, but never met was there
Does not exist, was the answer
I wrote my name also; it appeared I didn't exist either
I did once when thinking it was important
but some ladies in Jerusalem had deleted me.
The ladies of Jerusalem are dedicated to keeping
holocaust alive
A hopeless case
there have been many holocausts throughout history
right now, we are witnessing a holocaust in Gaza there, have been many more now forgotten.
In Palestine, there is low-level extermination on
but since the perpetrators are people who have
suffered much, we look another way
An aggressive Zionist, an illegal Jewish settlement
said, we killed Jesus and are proud of it,

Love for His City

Why does my soul love this city so dearly?
What causes the depth of my passion for her?
Are not other cities more pleasant or lovely?
Are not other places more safe or secure?

Yehovah adorns her, and He is her glory
He swore that His eyes and His heart there remain
He shared with me part of His love for His city
Connected my heart to the hill of His reign

It’s true that this city would hardly hold beauty
If not for the lamp and the promise of God
For Zion was chosen as His royal city
And there He has chosen that my feet should trod

I began writing this poem in Jerusalem, in February 2024

Premium Member Sons Of Jerusalem

Through the Golden Gate we march, We Sons Of Thunder
to Rise and See Lifes Illusions Crumble,
Sacred Swords and Spears we Wield into the Valleys Of Jerusalem
Ankh in hand, Halos and Solar Diadems
We cross the Threshold , Trodding in Grace
and Ride Upwards towards the Seventh Gate,
and proceed passed the Gatekeeper of Ancient Wisdom
and Vanquish the Perils from False Religions,
Inward we go Into the Temples Of Light
where Cathedrals of Infinity Shine Bright,
and Bonfires Blaze where we reap Flames from Eternity
Holding High the Sacred Lantern of Destiny,
we Trudge Onward and reach the Summit of Israel
and Stake Claim to the Powers of the Holy Grail

Can of Worms

Tom tom drums call men unto war

The Euphrates dries in preparation

Of a Third world war as Gog and Magog

Start a Cataclysmic war that unchecked

Will lead to an outright world war

Russia is on the offensive in arms against

A colleague of the Russian federation

By name Ukraine is daily bombarded

Carpet bombing NATO names it

As they western powers Arm Ukraine

And dogs of war, by name Mercenaries

Are shipped in droves to support the underdog

The Big USA uncle Sam as they call Her

Peddles her weaponry to the downtrodden Ukraine

As rumors of war abound.. They call it war propaganda

There will be wars and rumors of war but the end is not yet

The end comes when the Beelzebub Prince makes peace

With the Holy Land.. Ooh JERUSALEMA.. why am I reminded of ACRE

Feeling so blessed away from
thee abuse being battered taunted
today I sit with my two red poodles
brando and ruby they love me
unconditionally making sure I am
hugged affectionately constantly
sinfully indulging in my favorite chocolate
Toblerone bites sipping a warm
Glogg finally feeling safe watching
springtime form in a far off distance
over looking colorful homes in Lebanon

New Jerusalem

                 Fairy Princess dreamer alone
             in the ring of stones

At the end of the Rainbow

Do not let it be the end of faith

Little one, you did not lose your gold,
it cannot be taken from you

It happened to you, but it was not about you

There are still Unicorns

They are just further out in the foggy mists

As those fall into life's great sleep,
I will be awake to watch over you,
Sister, to help you find them again

You will always be part of a Family,
even if you do not recognize us, yet

You see, selfishness blurs out others,
and it is easier on the eyes to look upon, anonymity,
instead of truth reflecting the guilt of unfaithful insanity
  -
A jealous masochism fighting identity
in that sleep that has lost its dream

This adversity, perversity,
could never mean you are not loved,
these are a separate thing,
far removed from what is sealed away and kept from
the distorted hearts- that forgot how to sing,
to cherish of it's faithfulness keep

There is still love, Family- you being
Sibling of my Eternity, if you will have me,
for our Eternity it shall be

   Living simply
     rejoicing
   in their callings

   He, a shoemaker
     finest quality
   long-lasting leather

   She, a seamstress
     understated grace
   in bridal gowns and accessories

   home - Lower East Side
     1930's NYC tenement-style
   hearts - in Jerusalem

   Their bags packed
     ready to go
   Hark, Elijah heralds the dawn

Praise Unto You

Based on Psalm 65

In Zion is stillness, and praise unto You
And we shall fulfill what we promised to do
All flesh shall ascend to appear at Your throne
Our prayers You hear; for our sins You atone

Oh, blessed is the one whom You choose and You call
That He might approach You, O Master of all
That he in the courts of Your house might abide
By Zion’s pure goodness are we satisfied

Yes, Yahweh shall answer with awesome, just deeds
For He is the trust of the earth and the seas
He came wrapped in power, the mountains to form
When oceans are raging, He stills the strong storm

When waves proudly crash, He shall silence their voice
He makes both the evening and morning rejoice
He stills the great tumult of peoples by fear
The nations are frightened Your wonders to hear

You visit the earth and enrich it with rain
And You shall provide and prepare all their grain
Your river is full, and its ridge overflows
You soften with showers, and bless that which grows

The years with Your goodness and plenty You crown
Upon desert fields Your abundance drops down
The hills shall rejoice; You clothe pastures with sheep
They all sing and shout with the valleys so deep

Jerusalem

In love and in war all is fair
This is no consolation but a scare
Ye gloat but it is loss and death that ye dare
And it is at requiem masses ye remember prayer

Ye clamor to justify a side’s cause
As if the bloodshed is worth applause
And for counting the cost you take no pause
As if you have gone over peace to its last clause

You speak of love as if you even love hate
And destiny as if to embrace fate
Virtues unclear and boundaries obscure for any trait
In your unholy conviction you desecrate

How much blood seeks to be avenged
While the godliness we by our lips pledged
Has in deed and intent been edged
When indeed the earth has no blood thirst to be quenched

We pray for the peace of Jerusalem
May she end her bleeding by touching the hem
Rightful birthright and inheritance be unto them
May she not eat her own but be their gem

LGTQs paraded through Jerusalem without a hitch
though security was tight, not one single glitch

Under the supervision of one Itamar Ben-Gvir
dubbed a 'racist right-wing fanatic' by the press
They conveniently forgot that he'd pass every test
upholding the philosophy those truly religious bless:

  'Do not belittle any thing
    neither scorn any one ~
Every thing contains a bit of Heaven
    a shining hour, every one'*
