the annual fluffy Christmas dance is about to begin
We sat ourselves down next to my cousin Finn
Shhh! He said, pointing to the Christmas tree.
Be quiet if you are going to sit next to me.
So I moved away next to my Aunt Jennie.
Hey! She said. Tonight’s cat’s name is Winnie.
Winnie came out and took a bow.
We all clapped marvelously, even Uncle Pow.
The cat curtsied, twirled, and did a flip in the air.
Landing in Grandma’s tree. Grandpa said “we don’t care”.
She came out wearing a string of lights all over her bod.
She is so much fun! Yelled my silly Auntie Maud.
“Be quiet! “ Finn yelled. “All of you!”
He is always in a bad mood, determined to be blue.
I felt sorry for Winnie having to live with him.
He is never any fun, my mean cousin, Finn.

No matter how bad things get,
In all darkness, there is light.
In your life, have no regrets.
Live your life through what is right.
Things can happen, anytime.
Be prepared for what comes next.
Light is there, come rain or shine.
Look ahead to its effects.

What a special day it is
When we celebrate
A love that will last a lifetime
Three years of back and forth
They don’t have to do that anymore
They are together forever
A family they have become
When
Two Hearts & Two Families
Became One
Jennie & JJ couldn’t be more perfect for each other
I am honored to have had the chance to watch
Their love grow
Like two hearts beating to the same rhythm
For today
Two Hearts & Two Families
Become One
Soulmates I believe they are
Their love
Is a gift that will grow
More and more
With each day that passes
I couldn’t be happier for the two of them
As we see
Two Hearts & Two Families
Become One
Congratulations Jennie & JJ
Superhero with a blue face walks by
"David? you have a car?"
"Who Cares?"
David said
so he Immediately switched in and out like Henry's cage
I waded through a field of
she loves me she loves me knots
Needing to tie her bow to my happiness
I searched vigorously
Until I found that one wise daisy
For I knew she was my forever
My heart was incapable of
being with anyone else
I planned out the path
To the aisle of our bliss
For she was and is
everything that matters
That smile that breathes life into my days
I feel comfort and excitement in her arms
When I found her
I had no need to look further
I left the searching to the undecided
The fickle fools
Looking for their Jennie in a bottle
With a glass held in a hand
What's your sign
Clever pickup lines
Thinking them prettier
With each sip of wine
I preferred a softer approach
Not particularly smooth
or debonaire
Yet she too
miraculously was drawn to me
Somehow able to see
The spark within the blue
of my adoring eyes
Pupils dilated
Increasing double in size
Twenty two years
Ten thousand kisses
This is
My witness
My sweetie
is the perfect Mrs.
No field
Of Daisies
Will ever make
This mind hazy
For I know
With all my heart
She Loves Me
So thankful
We tied the knot!

Hour upon unending hour,
day upon unending day,
quietly, in her prison, our
dear Jennie Butler lay.
No curses did she utter,
never once did she complain,
though hands and feet were gnarled,
swollen, and burning with pain.
Instead, she smiled, told us jokes,
those she often would repeat,
and sing to us the old songs,
in tones pleasant and sweet.
Down the hall outside her room,
other voices mingled there,
mumbling and babbling
or calling out in despair.
No one came to visit her,
no one we could recall,
though she waited patiently,
no one ever came at all.

(Aunt Juanita's roommate in the Nursing Home)
Visiting Aunt Juanita,
in Pocahontas nursing home,
we met her roommate,
Jennie Butler.
Jenny loved to tell jokes,
and laughed often.
She sang gospel songs,
her voice filling the air
with sweetness,
as her face reflected joy.
No one would guess
she lay, day after day,
a prisoner to stiffness and pain.
Her hands and feet
were gnarled, swollen,
and burning with sting.
Today, Jennie is free.
In heavenly array,
and joyous abandon
she's singing still,
in celestial tone,
our welcome home.
I’ve known both of you for most of my life,
And Brandon, I’m so happy you made Jennie your wife;
You’re perfect together, that’s plain to see,
So lets raise up our glasses and toast with Chablis;
To the love that the two of you are bound to know,
As you sit there basking in your newlywed glow;
I’m proud that the two of you have found such love,
It’s bound to have been sent from the heavens above;
I watched silently as both of you said I do,
As one life was formed from what was once two;
The beginning of a lifetime together,
Come sunshiny days and stormy weather;
I wish the two of you the very best,
And I’m certain your lives are sure to be blessed!

He awoke to exposure
Being in the wrong enclosure
Cuddling a princess lioness called Jennie
