Afterlife, What are you? Are you my friend or my foe? The end, or the beginning? A blessing or a curse, are you? Fear, or intrepidity? Exaltation, or despair? And finally, Is your essence damned Or Is it holy? No matter what your nature is, Ready I would be for you, when the time Would draw near, An effort to sooner come to you, Is out of my way of thinking But Neither I, like a coward, would I endeavor to Fly away, Therefore Here I will make my stand, Waiting for your appearance Challenging your dominion as you are Getting near Thus Till my last breath, I will Oppose you And Down I will go fighting, never asking you, For mercy! © Demetrios Trifiatis 03 July 2021

Death to this world is not the enemy to the saved. Many people fear the pain o9f death but it does not hurt to die. It hurts to live. Death is a release from pain. It also frees your spirit to return to The Father. A most admirable write my friend. Bravo. God Bless, JB

Wonderful poem, contains concepts that go deep and are profound, my friend Demetrios. Don't spend time worrying about the hereafter and dying when you might be experiencing life while you're still alive. Leaving the future in God's hands is more pleasant here and now. Very well done. I think writing poetry is the matter here, death is not my concern. I am in peace with my God and with myself so ready I am to follow my destiny. Neither I am concerned about my upcoming judgment for I know it will be perfect since God does all things to perfection. Blessings my friend.
