Intoxicated by the Music

Intoxicated by the sound of music,
I am intoxicated too.

Even the cat is getting drunk.
Hunger and pain alike fade away.

Is this moment
The moment I look upon you?

Is it the final moment of your welcoming embrace?

Intoxicated by the sound of music,
I am intoxicated too.

I fall into a sweet, deep sleep.

Life,
carried away by intoxication.

But that evening,
it seemed to have waned.

Thoughts crept into
my relaxed mind -
that I should not have done those
that I should have done these.

Yet still I waver, I doubt :
Am I sober now, or drunk ?

Intoxicated

11/20/22

Here is an honest statement
I'm extremely intoxicated
These haters still constipated
Snakes continue being nominated
Dark forces thirst for power in a world full of a lot of hatred
Or folks that are calm and patient
Much being complicated
Good intentions punished and corruption tolerated

Still nothing helps
Onto something else
Put my heart into it yet still wasn't felt

Sipping a glass of Cognac
Yet again another nosy ass
You'll never see me at any Holy Mass
The same said for discussing Zodiacs
Try your luck, shred you like a Kodiak

Wanting my help the one that they call quick
Often having a hand and much involvement
Still a drug addict and alcoholic
A continual problem have yet to solve it

Had to fight for room, since most weren't giving any
Regarding life, I'm missing plenty
I've not been living healthy
Changes, I've been resisting many
Slipping every
Time after time, eventually the outcome it is deadly

I appreciate your concern
There's been much I've had to learn
Many times I got burned

A Responsible Beginning

This is the night to bring in a new year
You might want to celebrate with some beer
That is quite all right
As long as you have someone sober drive tonight
Drinking and driving is not cool
At best, you would drive like a fool
Don’t be one of those that drink and drive
The two just don’t jive
You could end up in jail
Causing someone to pay your bail
You could total your car
Once you leave the bar
You could get hurt
So, let someone drive that is alert
You could hurt someone
Who could be a stranger or a loved one
You could die
Causing loved ones to cry
You could kill someone
As a result of what your drunk driving has done
Then you would spend time in prison
While mourners wear red ribbons
This is all avoidable
As long as you drink responsible

Wanted: Dead Or Alive

Going once,
	Going twice.
sold to the desolate soul in the far-left corner
the one half-dead with tear-soaked cheeks
intoxicated memories
choking down something
from her parent's liquor cabinet
at fifteen
searching for an answer
carved in the stars
a constellation pointing anywhere but
here is the answer: to stay or to go?
Go far away-- run away, girl
toss regret as a rock into the ocean
it skipped four times then drowned
bury a casket of damned dreams
let them die.
Go, escape with the wind
from old friends’ memories you surely will fade
they will not hurt
so don’t you worry
a sigh of relief
your past will stay just that.
Freedom, sold to the girl in the back.

Intoxicated

I have fondled and drowned in a toxic contortion,
I know not whether to drink it or spill it,
I know not, whether to swallow it or to spit it,
I know, it is a venomous adoration,
Yet, I like it.

intoxicated by entwined souls,
breasts beating, breathing
in the amalgamation of us.
trust in lips, tongues, stress
of otherworldly communication.

neo-occasion of bare skin,
slightly shy, surrendering
to the shift and slide—
sensuality played portentously…
innocence irrigated…
blind.

intoxicated by the itch;
you scratch
my back like a kitten.
my feet and knees
find your warm precipices
of carnal knowledge.
together we learn
there’s an inner universe;
exploration
of mysterious habitation.

in practice, in habit
tingling of dendrites
over and over again.
intoxication’s jealous—
jumps for joy
at your touch…
knows where your headed
north or south…

intoxicated by extremes,
the shudder of sensuality,
shamelessness of dreaming
in your bed, calling only
your name, stamped
with approval— our’s,
story comes to
a climactic conclusion—
Your Welcome.

Your witty charm had me
hook line and sinker.
I was under your spell; I
can't get enough of you.
I love your mesmerizing
eyes.
Your captivating smile,
Your smile is so radiant
Your body is like a sculpture
of a Greek God.
I think you're related to
Adonis.
I enjoy having my fill of you.
Everything about you is so
intoxicating.

Staggering, wobbling, stumbling...somewhere
Watching the world spinning, and spinning, and spinning
Confused and discombobulated, he wandered...somewhere
Swerving his steps and slurring his words...
Still carrying the Boone's Farm- strawberry flavored
He mumbled to himself...
Where am I? ...somewhere
Walking with no direction, he sloppily sings

"Somewhere over the rainbow...
Bluebirds fly
Somewhere over the rainbow...
Where, oh just where- Am I"

His first taste of intoxication
A sixteen year old want-a-be drinker; drunk
Vomit all over his overalls, on his clothes, penny-loafers, and in his hair
The morning aft, mom asks "Where were you last night, son"
Still intoxicated, he replied- "Somewhere"

 Magical eclipse
Gives rise to Celtic Twilight
Airbrushed perfection
Ghostly Druid casts his spell
Protected by Tree of life.

this drunk man had fun
zigzags into the restroom...
projectile vomits

Intoxicated Adam

My fill I drink
And simple instructions no longer sink
Nor straight succeed to think.

I sense mocking winks
But judge them innocent blinks,
My fifty - year - old face,
Mirroring a discarded doll's;
My ever staggering pace
Molesting sober walls.

A sudden exploding interest in love - making,
The woman I have touched hatefully quaking.

On some table, a dumped, careless meal,
To the steward, not a big deal,
More worried about my skipped trousers' button
Than the unfinished juicy mutton;
Plus a passerby I had ignobly got down
And before she could at her first frown.

A sure roaring scandal to an enemy madam
And sure living disgrace to intoxicated Adam
Who had had the option of a life calm
But still with a bottle on his palm

Intoxicated

Intoxicated
They intoxicate my world
And expect me to be royal
This is the picture of life
Were my soul bleeds
Still the world don't care
Even doe I worry about
The future of man with it nature
Still I bleed to see
That all given for the sake
Of love
Is destroyed to vanity
No wonder they intoxicate
My world
Yet expect me to be royal

Intoxicated
I can't write normal
Cos a normal soul don't bleed
Either could it see it realities
In the midst of his deformities
He thinks he is saved
By same hands whom
Never want his existence
So I challenge you
Don't be blind
We are need a life
So start the change
From you
Cos sooner or later
The world will change if not
 intoxicated

I'M Intoxicated In Love

several moments
with curse,
with hateful things,
with banned activities
were my affinity,

in these,
I was entangled,
walked dancing
with lofty lickerish
by loving your ensnaring beauty,

every atom of your beauty
crushed me, trampled my lusty ego

o graceful black girl
you, the superb creation of God,
I'm passionate as well as committed too
to your unseen love

It's your (ensnaring)love
where I cannot judge
the true or false, the beauty or ugly
because I'm intoxicated in (naughty)love!

Intoxicated Mind

Intoxicated mind

The spirit within
Never die

The fire I bear keep
On burning

Even when am the only
One judge to be no good
In a place that replaced
My home

I still remain outstanding
In my deformity

Cos I refuse to let go
The light that light my
Fire

Despite i have an
Intoxicated mind
