Clutched jaw, grinding teeth against pulp,
until ash and blood coat a deadened tongue.
The nightsong quiets—a pulsating silence encapsulates the land
as I walk up to a pyre built of withering dreams and deadly nightshade.
The cold, bitter air brushes against protruding flesh.
Looking toward the skies, faith stripped and shamed,
I climb and take my place among my ancestral spirits.
The silence of the night breaks, with chants of *Burn the witch* filling the void.
Leering eyes and foaming mouths scream obscenities my way.
But even among this fanatic freakshow, I hold on to my dignity.
I do not let them see the fear festering beneath my eyes,
nor does my lip quiver.
With insurmountable strength, I hold my head high
as I watch the torches preparing to set me ablaze.
Closing my eyes one final time, I breathe in everything I have ever held dear.
Memories flood—of loves lost and gained,
of the changing seasons,
of my connection to this glorious earth.
I can feel the flames licking at my feet now.
But I will not scream,
for my resurrection will come soon enough.

The distance is very horrific
This path is insurmountable
I want to be there, I will go there
Attitude is changed, life arrived
Distant words
Present words
There is no way
Mind is changed

In the shadow of an eclipse, where worry takes its flight,
The burden of strife can weigh you down,
Yet in each moment of pain, in the depths of sorrow’s night,
A spark of sunshine glimmers, a whispering sound.
When loss feels like a mountain, an insurmountable wall,
And anguish grips the heart with a vice-like clutch,
Draw breath, finding strength in the smallest of all,
For even in fear, hope can ignite with a gentle touch.
Through the uncertainty that often clouds the way,
Search for meaning, a glimpse of purpose in the dark,
Though deprivation may linger, and hunger never sway,
A flicker of resilience can light the faintest spark.
So rise above the lack that seeks to confine,
Embrace the light of sunshine, let it wash over the pain,
For in the heart, a whispered promise will align,
That from the depths of sorrow, hopes can rise again.

Sometimes, it is in the most difficult times
That the strongest leaders are born.
Not by chance. But crisis,
Vision, and transformation.
Look at the life Moses in Egypt,
He was born out of circumstances.
Out from the Jews united aggrieved prayers
In Egypt Pharaoh's wanton slavery of the Jews.
Look at the life in a beehive without a Queen.
The ordinary workers produce an ordinary egg
Specially cared, nurtured, and fed with special food,
To make the egg grows into insurmountable changes
In physical aspect double or triple in size.
If she manage the beehive well will be given all the privileges
To produce more eggs for the beehive and to survive the colony.
She doesn't work, she only command and supervise.
She is ordinary turn extraordinary leader in the beehive.
It's like the fate of a nation when crisis arises
The people will unite, select a leader of the group to lead,
Support, extol and proclaim by virtue of people's initiative
Become their true leader to lead the country into prosperity they long for.

all things can be done through Christ - Phillipians 4:13
defying seemingly insurmountable odds
a self-destructive, long-time drug addict
revived from an overdose a few times
many people had mustard seed faith
in her chances of defeating her demons,
but by the grace of the Lord, she did.
despite towering mountains of obstacles,
she managed to make a full recovery
isn't this what resilience looks like?

There's an endless cycle of living,
Where it's not always good or all bad.
It's constantly circling around taking and giving,
Seemingly lost, like a chaotic nomad.
While surviving along the two-dimensional plane,
Appearing to obediently follow only that of time.
One can only search about aimlessly,
For some reason to an obtuse rhyme.
However blind, there is a direction, that
Leads to an unforgiving cause and effect.
When the sums may become insurmountable,
No matter the levels of disrespect.
Yet beyond this flat, geometric reasoning,
Alternatives are seen, not from a circle, but a sphere.
As a multitude of tangents take new form,
Bringing new hope, along with old fear.
This revolution seeks to close its own circle,
Though its path will be curvilinear in its quest.
Since its journey may evolve with new experience,
Allowing for growth in the universal test.

I stumble each day,
Praying to a God I now barely believe in.
The years of turning to my faith
Diminished
In the eye of insurmountable pain,
A loss so great that it shook me to the ground.
Searching for the why
In your goodbye,
Feeling betrayed by the Great One,
Stealing my precious child in the wee hours of the night.
Struggling to find my footing,
Knowing deep down that He is bigger than life.
I lost my way,
The night you went His way.

I want Dr. Pepper
a bottle won’t do
not a sprite or mountain dew
just Dr. Pepper my love
Dr. Pepper simply comes above
whatever shall I do
without my Dr. Pepper
the most beautiful of all drinks
not having Dr. Pepper stinks
my love for it will not pass
those other drinks can kiss my ass
only the dr of pepper will stay true to my heart
so good I could fill a whole shopping cart
if I had Dr. Pepper my day would be great
if Dr. Pepper was I man I’d turn straight
my love for Dr. Pepper is insurmountable
Dr. Pepper is unforgettable
Dr. Pepper makes the world a better place
and every night before dinner I’ll say my grace
and thank the Lord for Dr. Pepper

We are what we overcome, stay strong;
Mountains can seem insurmountable;
Follow the scent of something that’s fresh,
make your way among the wild brambles;
Mountains can seem insurmountable,
the plateau’s lower than it appears;
Make your way among the wild brambles,
add a dash of uncommon color;
The plateau’s lower than it appears,
a reverberating sound echos
Add a dash of uncommon color,
brighten up all of that earthy green;
A reverberating sound echos
plunging holes creating a new path;
Brighten up all of that earthy green
within an undulating sunset;
Plunging holes creating a new path,
follow the scent of something that’s fresh;
Within an undulating sunset,
we are what we overcome stay strong.

In the insurmountable obstacles of life,
Love, LOVE.
With no torn apart starts,
With no borders nor walls.
For, love is a guide to humanity,
And love bridges all gabs.
For, love heals,
And love leads.
Ofcourse love can be a great ordeal,
But, it forever remains a great deal.
Even the bible concurs
1Corinthians 13:4–8
Love is patient and kind;
Love does not envy or boast;
It is not arrogant or rude.
It does not insist on its own way;
Love is not irritable or resentful;
It does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.
Love bears all things,
It believes all things,
It Hopes all things,
Endures all things.
Love, LOVE
Love with no bounds,
Love with no fear.
For, love is a beautiful thing.
And love is a special delight.

Stared at two passionate lines for the longest time!
What I wrote…as if in a trance, is this a verse?
Tears fell, one after another…
Every drop, every translucent pearl of grief
Long encased in a shell of hope and disappointment...
I was rapt with a feeling of purification,
This was my holy place, a poem was my offering!
A wrong decision in youth caused insurmountable uphill struggle,
Shutting my eyes, clenching my fist, hushing my voice!
Finally a drizzle of rain from heaven quenching my starving lyrical soul,
Phoenix rising from the ashes, this is Me!
My creativity was back, negativity disappeared in a mist,
There is unselfish love in this world, there is miraculous compassion
Expressing myself in rhymes made sense to me, Poetry made me feel whole....
Days are gone when I felt despondent and trivial,
Drowning in verses, found my catharsis - an existence significativa!

Climbing time
Tredging forward and climbing time. Hoping to find an end to this darkness that has befallen me. So far it is endless and feels like it may slowly smother me.
This darkness carries sadness and this sadness is thick and heavy like tar. It feels insurmountable and inescapable.
I need to catch my breath, I need to feel normal again but you are no longer here and therefore it is impossible.
So I must forever learn to live in darkness and sadness....even if I don't want to.

Radicalizing Our Young
Miracle Man
5/1/2024
The college protest problem,
isn’t insurmountable.
But a good first step to take,
is holding activist accountable.
They travel throughout the country,
Their aim, stirring up trouble.
Today it’s long past time,
someone bursting their bubble.
But we just slap their wrists,
and its back to business as usual.
We must show more force,
when dealing with the delusional.
Attitudes might change,
after a week spent in jail.
Where there’s no choice of food
or opportunity for bail.
But they get on their soapbox,
and yell about public speech.
But destroying those unlike themselves,
is a sermon they shouldn’t preach.
Any students involved,
should immediately be expelled.
Or perhaps thought given,
to diplomas being withheld.
I pray that I see peace,
once more in my lifetime.
But I see the answer to this problem,
is in making the time fit the crime.
We can’t negotiate with those,
intent on radicalizing our young.
We must look to God for our strength,
until. the last verse of song is sung.
