Premium MemberRework

On many endeavors which I’ve undertaken,
a significant amount of my time was spent.
Explaining things to avoid being mistaken,
later to hear “But Tom, I thought you meant”.

Time spent reworking isn’t time well spent,
so I endeavor to cover all bases before starting.
Misunderstandings, I always try to prevent,
and before starting, completing comparting.

So I’m forced to instruct each person alike,
so that upon completion I won’t have to vent.
Unless the end result is to to my dislike,
and I quickly say, “money wasn’t well spent.”

“As senior rooster ’round here, it’s my duty, and my pleasure, to instruct junior roosters in the ancient art of roostery” ~Foghorn Leghorn

     If Pearl misbehaves
     throws fits, rants and raves
What of the parents who raise her

     If Johnny can’t read
     or do simple math
What of his teachers who instruct him

If Darryl kills a man at age 14
     After robbing him blind
What of the system which releases him too soon

Where’s there no supervision or accountability, little teaching, less review
the quality products turned out number between zero and a few

civilian

civilian
thoughts and washed plates possibly?
that you own my country or an answer
of assembly and ranks i am unfile-able
above too cream, too polished for beams

an irish american from ireland
and i was saying
this is how we created allow you to learn
i a loud and happy
by bellows and bass
the inordinate coordinate reflex
of my speech is war confronted you, when
yes i am a military measure writer
that describes the universe you inhabit
i am under no obligation to the allegiance you die from
nor is description legal from me to you to use
only as a legitimate means not to condescend
how much power i wield
my influence over earth's fertile blanding
while time came about you all failed us.
we sought to instruct yet the civil war is you
i am general assembly, good day
plagiarism is attempting to earmark theft of my treasury notes

Premium MemberHumanity

Give me a moment while I expound
on a principle our friend Newton found.
Every time you execute an action,
you cause an equal, opposite reaction.

In my way of thinking, this 'ol universe
works backward - kinda in reverse.
Everyone should do what I want them to,
but I find just the opposite is true.

When I instruct my kid, and say "do not".
He only hears "do". The "not" he forgot.
That's not just the way it is with a kid,
adults, too, don't like anyone to forbid.

In my imagination, I can clearly see
just how I'd like everything to be.
For example, say, I want to get that date,
with my crush, but she won't cooperate.

Then, when my interest starts to wane,
now, she begins a romantic campaign.
Her attraction for me starts to grow,
equal to how much I hit the brakes to slow.

Based on Isaac Newton's bright ideology,
maybe I should use reverse psychology;
but that would drive me out of my head.
So, I'll let people be themselves instead.

Premium MemberUnfiltered Echo

   Important happenstances continue to echo
   in future life also.
    Might be attenuated in pitch
    reduced in slow decay.
being filtered with passage of time

My Dad was my Idol, Philosopher and Guide
to inspire, instruct, direct and protect me.
His advices continuously echo in my mind
on same strength without losing intensity .

'Echo Filtering Reality' at least failed in this aspect
I strictly follow all his instructions
      throughout my life till date.
His blessings and affection showering me
all along echoing in my soul, just unfiltered.
The voices of my Dad to echo in my ears
not fading with Time but guarding me at every step.

You and I are so much more

You and I are so much more
Created in Adonai's likeness
Perfect, rare, priceless and special
Unique, extraordinary, gifted and talented
Called to complete a mission an assignment filled
With adversaries, temptation, adventure and victory
You and I were given the freedom of choice to be a part of history
To be written into the next generation story
Whereby we gave the Creator glory
What an extraordinary story for the next generation
To hand down praises, worship and thanksgiving
To the Divine Omnipresent, Omnipotent One who created all living things
You and I are forever striving to be our best
Always willing to complete and part-take in every earthly test
Trusting others to instruct and guide us through every trial
Emotions, feelings, anxiety and fear
I agree sometimes this calling doesn't seem fair
But isn't it right to say, I will rather be called and chosen than be exempt and exiled from YAH Heavenly Kingdom.

                          Alana and all who follow
                        Especially those with fearful hearts,
“Be strong, do not be afraid
Even though to fear may seem easy
Or even automatic- The Divine Father
Will guide and instruct you although
You might not realize it readily!

Regardless of what the eyes may see
And despite the human shell which
                          you think of as you
your real self which is hid from
                         mortal view, cannot be hurt-
it is more like the Jelly Fish

Realist Male Face Mask : The Disguise

They wrote this play to target
folk like us to be together.
Anyone who share these types of interest
would find this worthy of paying
money to see.
It's a neither lacks excitement or meaning
instead it combines them both
with the popular detail that makes
something entertaining and great.
The play set it self uses a three room set
 and a laboratory set where
the actors engage into the exciting skits
 of know thingness
that fuses a storyline
which creates villans and heroes
allowing the folky people create
the narritive which
might instruct the audiences
sense of what's happening.
The guy wears a mask and stands
to distance him slef
while another man who knows whats going on
and he knows why it's going on so he
engages into foolishness with no purpose.
He dawns the same mask and stay's in the distance
too. The badguy mask wearer is looking for
the secret formula: he knows who has it
and he know's where it is. He must get close enough to
retreive the formula which he beleives to be his.

Premium MemberSay it all

You can fairly well instruct me
Telling me what I’ve to do
You can say you never kissed me
And my feelings weren’t true
Say it all, if that is helpful
For your current state of mind
You can throw me in the whirlpool
Of the never ending night
There I’ll be, among the angels
But of course you wouldn’t care
Changing hearts with all your strangers
On the pages of nowhere
Though you know I love you dearly
Please yourself, deny the fact
Make it sound most sincerely
In accordance with each tact
I’m not bogged into that show
There’s no subject to discuss -
Say it all, before we go
If that helps, or if you must.

A Reflection On One So Wise Abraham Lincoln For Whom The Bell Tolled

'Every man is proud of what he does well; and no man is proud of what
he does not do well. With the former, his heart is in his work; and he will
do twice as much of it with less fatigue. The latter performs a little imperfectly,
looks at it in disgust, turns from it, and imagines himself exceedingly tired.
The little he has done, comes to nothing, for want of finishing.'

Abraham Lincoln.

'When a man is led to believe that the pride in the work that he thought was done well, is undermined by himself, or others, for lack of instruction, where such instruction would not be rebuffed, then those whom could so instruct are just as responsible for the want of his finish. For when his heart is in his work and he seemed tireless in the pursuit of it's perfection, while knowing full well that nothing is perfect, when if fortunate enough, then his efforts could at the very least be perceived as his willingness to bring himself up from his past failure'.

Premium MemberI Will Be The Better

I Will Be The Better
*
To have left the world
Without making it a better
Place for ourselves and
Our animal friends,
What kind of a life was that?
*
To have left the world
With family and friends
Remembering me as cynical,
Sarcastic, and pessimistic
What kind of life memories were those?
*
To have left the world
Loving conditionally,
What kind of love was that?
*
In my next life I will be the better
For letting our world's
Flora and Fauna
Instruct me in the
Ways of stewardship.
*
In my next life I will be the better
For loving my family
And friends unconditionally.
*
In my next life I will be the better
For listening to the children
With my heart and soul
And let them guide me
In the ways of innocence and wonder.
*
And when I cross over,
I'll give a nod to Socrates
Who, once upon a time, said,
“The unexamined life is not worth living.”
And I will be the better
For having examined mine.

Premium MemberThe Unsupervised Stop Sign

When you tell little ones, "Stop taking all the toys,"
then you don't watch to see if they obey~~
when you instruct your school-age girls and boys,
"Stop now. Do chores and homework before you play
more games and talk to your friends," but you never
check to see what has actually transpired~~
when you give kids a curfew but you aren't ever
aware of what time they get in, proving they aren't required
to stop coming in late~~when they won't stop being mean and rude,
and you say, "You're grounded," then the next day let them go,
do, and spend as they please, proving a stinking attitude
is no deterrent to self-rule, you're under their thumb~~this, they KNOW.

Bradly Spills His Beads

He had a sneaky tongue,
it bent around his molars
like a serpentine noodle.
His Adams apple
was an ever-shifting abacus
that calculated words
as if they were untethered beads.
Mathematics were his
clinical persuasion,
a laudable science
he hammered
into a sterile
impregnable language
for bespectacled cyborgs,
for he (the Bradly),
daily taught snotty tykes
who ponged of sticky,
childish proclivities.
Some teach, some
kill the ozone of eager minds.
We kids and Mr. Bradly
were never meant
for each other,
but he did instruct us
in the oily arts of
disinterest,
indifference,
and inattention.

A Soul Is Divine

A soul is divine,
A priceless entity,
Esteemed by its Creator,
Treasured by its Maker.

The soul seeks the Divine,
Sages understand this sojourn,
They teach and instruct,
Proffering a way to redemption.

The soul is a lamp,
It beams into the dark places,
It lights up gloomy chambers,
It searches the deep.

The soul communes with the unseen.
It hears the unheard,
In the stillness of the day
it transcends to a higher realm.

The soul is a gladiator,
It fights the unseen elements,
A soul is the sun,
A soul is eternal.
