Is bad kangaroo stew
                a marsupial goo?
Is a pachyderm’s junk
                in an elephant’s trunk?
Does a prim spoon-billed stork
use a knife and a fork?
Is whale splash in the ocean
                a cetacean commotion?

If you give a little weasel,
a nice new painting easel
and a jerry can of diesel,
and you tell him he will freeze -
will he retire to paint a fire
or burn the easel with the diesel
and bake a nice brie cheese?

If a ferret and parrot
have imbibed a bit of claret,
and you give the first a carrot,
and the second diamond carats,
would they see things as disparate,
finding merit in the carrot,
or would the parrot try to wear it,
unaware of its great peril,
and turn the ferret feral?

If you’re using that line again and again,
then just how, exactly, did you refrain?

Premium MemberInquiring Mantis Brothers Want To Know

Is the African praying mantis as murderous as the others?
I do not know what to say to my terrified quivering brothers.
She lets you mate and then bites off your head.
I guess they wanted to hear something else instead.

Premium MemberThe Inquiring Mind

a perpetual
longing...yearning..
a boundless
               appetite
lingers
unfolds..
leavened
by imagination...
a troubled
torment
seeking
       ...an answer

Premium MemberInquiring Minds Want To Know

Inquiring minds want to know
What makes eyes twinkle so
Or what lies in the depths below
Inquiring minds want to know…

Inquiring minds want to know
Curiosity given leave to grow
Makes little cracks began to show
Inquiring minds want to know...

Inquiring minds want to know
Allurement leading, oh so slow
Fantasies in the mind to stow
Inquiring minds want to know...

Inquiring minds want to know
Thus started the first step to woe
Thus was seen temptation’s glow
Inquiring minds want to know…

God you know best
You know what I need
Before I even need it
You just do what you need to do
I will just leave you alone
Love ya
Your ever inquiring puzzling never leave you alone query

Here Comes Death Inquiring

Not just yet, and not for a while
There's someone yet unmet
Her name is God's Smile.

So stay away, my grim friend
And call again another day
Do try not to condescend.

For flesh abates, and then sighs
And thus secretly elates
Along with soul to die.

For soul pines, to see Father
But heart is not so inclined
It is he that you bother.

It is he, heart that you offend
In that he has so longed to be
With her for years on end.

And Oh, what blasting disdain
This old heart would then show
For your premature bane!

So go my future friend, into the night
And do not soon come this way again
For, I have the heart for a good fight!

Inquiring Minds Need To Know

Inquiring minds need to know
why some things make no sense.
Like why the grass is greener
on the other side of the fence?
And why is it when we're shopping,
looking for Pants to wear,
even though we buy just one,
they always come in pairs?
There's simply no rhyme or reason,
no wisdom, clues, or tips,
that explain why shipments are sent by Cars,
and cargo is sent by Ships.
Another puzzling question that puts
understanding on the spot,
is why we park on driveways,
and drive on parking lots?
And what about this Teflon,
a modern miracle of Man.
If nothing sticks to Teflon,
how'd they stick it to the pan?
These are just some questions
that keeps us puzzled so.
And we'll keep searching for the answers,
because inquiring minds need to know.
