To mingle with your affairs
A thought....locked in a stare
A dynamic explosion
With movement and motion
A moment I've come to share

As if to inhibit
A mind set at ease
I splash a daring brush stroke
To capture your need

To feed a mind of intrigue
To take you along a trail
To pull you in deeper
With brilliant colors revealed

Premium MemberI Miss Sacramento

I have lived in three out of the four regions in America.

My experiences in some of them have been less than civil.
Issues in life, good and bad, may linger with us for life.
Stories that plague one's beginnings need not inhibit one's end.
Shielded from destructive effects in life, I did rise and thrive.

Satisfaction saturated my entire being
After we arrived at our new residence in '86.
Community spirit was there, alive and well,
Rendering a sense of family with great neighbors.
Anticipation of a better life for our kids was paramount.
Most experiences in this Northern California city were positive.
Every thought of leaving her filled my heart with grief and sadness.
Never had I lived for so long(35yrs.) in one community and loved it.
To every family member and friend, I say, "I brought you with me."
Of this I am sure: They say that home is where your story began; but
where I was born never felt like home to me. Like
nowhere else, Sacramento felt like home to me.

A Word From Yeshua

You are Kings and Queens
Children to the universe
But royalty to the Earth plane,
My chosen
My loves
My warriors,
My strength in physical form,
None shall prevail in testing your might when your might is found in unison.
Love your neighbor
Love your spouse
Love those around you as if they are the same,
For love is all, for all is love.
Nothing can inhibit the ability of love to overcome hate
And nothing will change the fate of the world as prophecy is written long before lived,
So love all things.

Premium MemberThe Adversary

From my heart
There is a peace, a joy
That comes from believing
He is always with me,
He silences the worries,
Fills me up with hope and courage,
Inspires me to give away
All the love that He stimulates
With the grace that He provides

Grace that is so much - alive,
Like the dazzling stars at night
Like the sun who shines so bright
Like the wonder of a butterfly

Grace like this is beyond description
It is powerful, bringing the soul conviction
Through the spirit, sending sweet
Feelings of love that kisses away the tear
Flowing from the memory, the fear
That seems like it can inhibit every beauty,
Dissuade the music, the dance, the love
That abides inside the heart…

Who knows He is alive – He has survived
The skeptic, the cynic, the pessimist…
All the doubters who bring with them –
Despair, disillusion and discouragement

He is ALIVE – a all-consuming fire,
Stirring up the soul to delight
In all the beauty He has inspired
The miracles, the wonder, the peace
That flows down from the throne
Where His love can defeat any adversary!

Premium MemberThe Fiddler and the Frog

A symphony in two part sound:
the fiddler and the frog
played echo in the fog,
a lovely analog.

Crescendoing as they redound,
with none to inhibit
the bow or the ribbit,
they simply ad-lib it.

Then, absent of all jealousies,
acknowledging their need,
they oft exchange the lead,
and neither does impede.

Across the water melodies:
the fiddler on her strings,
the frog, the baseline brings;
delight is given wings.

Premium MemberFearful of Inadequacy

I tell myself, abandoned by my own shadows long ago. Thoughts of embrace, but not the courage. I just desire to be appreciated for who I am even with my flaws. A black feather perches in my soul. Dreams of shouts for freedom, my empty words echo emotions built and have died for a reason. Someone to still love and forgive my mistakes I've made in the past to have strong hands and arms to hold me tight and whispered good morning, be warm with concern can be kissed goodnight. Fearful, of inadequacy inhibit my mind. How much longer is this going to last. I didn't realize this was too much to ask from the person my body and soul loves. I just desire to be appreciated for who I am.

alone to the nights
whimpering in gloom darkness
drizzle rhythmic hum

Premium MemberBye Bye Birdie

The farmer cocked his rifle and glared down upon the turkey
It wasn’t mist that made the farmyard and the turkey murky
His muddy specs and ageing eyes had made his vision blurred
And as he wiped his grimy specs he said this to the bird…

“Some folk say I ought to starve; my eyesight ain’t so hot,
But I ensured I heard the voice of everything I shot.
I bagged myself some lovely pork, you should’ve heard him oink
He hit the deck with quite a thud… his oink became a BOINK.

“My beef is fresh, as fresh as you, oh boy did that cow moo,
The racket he kicked up was like a knees-up at the zoo.
That tasty cow is gonna make a cupboard full of jerky,
But all their oinks and all their moos ain’t gonna give me turkey.”

The farmer aimed his rifle at the poor old turkey’s head
He squinted as he muttered, “You’re my dinner so you’re dead.
So say your prayers because my shot you never will inhibit.”
But then the turkey hopped around while yelling, “Ribbit, Ribbit!”

Horizon

It is not about the wounds that inhibit us.

But rather, the laughter that we inhabit together.

It is true that sometimes the only treatment-

Is not some medicine.

It is instead relieving them of their poisonous body.

So that instead of sinking-

You shall be lifted by stepping stones.

Into the horizon you will go.

A horizon that is more kind than I can be for you.

The Arrival

Oh! Spring you come on joyful wings,
The plants in earnest expect your visit,
Hope, your coming brings.

The stage’s been made ready for your entry,
With longing hearts all sit,
Oh! Spring you come on joyful wings.

The dead laid down in the cemetery,
Your awakening call they heartedly solicit,
Hope, your coming brings.

To all you give, none not any differently,
Your coming, obvious and explicit,
Oh! Spring you come on joyful wings.

The elements that herald, make you seem unfriendly,
They, your good deeds can't inhibit,
Hope, your coming brings.

You permeate the space and cool it gently,
No boundary or set limit,
Oh! Spring you come on joyful wings,
Hope, your coming brings.

Together

Together, we shall learn until it is woven.

Our autonomy is what is chosen.

We will act on our promise.

We will be voices in our own independence.

Our guilt is our own.

And cannot be instilled by others- our hope we shall hone.

Our uniqueness, we used to inhibit.

Our fear of being burdens we used to inhabit.

But in this place, we shall learn to be known.

And learn a truth, which is that our strength will be shown!

Premium MemberThwarted Vows

You hastily spilled a loaded jar of stained language.
Sky aglow by a rainbow, as sunsets below a ledge.
Pouring a layer of dullness into a pristine scene.
Murky clouds have drowned the gentle sunshine.

Unscrupulous guarantees, sand-tidied venturing,
And the heart will stow away in the way they review.
In the azure sky, golden rings are instantly plunging.
Blackbirds crow around humans peacefully withdrew.

Storm haze from a weakening typhoon stream.
Realizing the window curtains inhibit late-day sun.
This fear involves a torrential downpour dream.
Nowhere for adoration untamed stallion to run,

He wanders around this forsaken dust bowl land.
Without a stated objective, just a promise in hand.
Dreams of enigmatic and utterly ease dry,
The rises speak culpability as they move away.

A fearful mind approves each deft move.
As a roving lout, I have a soft spot and am sensitive.
Your clarion call ought to be a full-scale disorder.
I'm weaving dim deceptions over my slander.

Premium MemberSafety

Do you feel safe
When there are several there?
People to protect you
People to help and share
People to direct you
People to listen and care
There’s no safety in numbers

Do you feel safe
After you’ve received a shot?
Something to discourage the flu
Something to dissuade the virus
Something to inhibit the infection
Something to prevent the sickness
There’s no safety in vaccines

Do you feel safe
After you’ve buckled up?
Listened to the basic law
Listened to the rules of the world
Listened to the regulation
Listened to the commandment
There’s no safety in seatbelts

Do you feel safe
After you’ve won the award?
Heard your name announced as the winner
Heard your idea proclaimed the leader
Heard your hope become the champion
Heard your beginning to lead to success
There’s no safety in self-esteem

Do you feel safe
After you’ve learned and trained?
After you’ve found the right way?
After you’ve grown to be mature?
After you’ve felt inspired to do it?
There’s no safety in lessons

True safety can be had
But it isn’t found in this land
There is only one place safety can be found
There is only safety in Jesus, my King!

Say No To Cohabitation

Whether it is now some folks’ habit
Or a lifestyle to try a bit,
You should begin to inhibit
The thoughtless actions others exhibit...

For here in Ariel we actively prohibit
Lovers having to cohabit
And should be the last to simply sit
While lovers below the belt chastity hit
Making the still-not-profaned their teeth grit.
