The Weight Of Commonsense

The lack of common sense
makes nonsense easy,
things that should make sense,
slip through, unchallenged.
Yet common sense itself
makes the absurd unbearable,
forcing logic upon the illogical,
struggling to grasp the uncommon.
To live without it
is to drift through chaos,
unbothered by contradiction.
To live with it
is to wrestle with reason,
forever questioning the senseless.

for no particular
rhyme nor reason
revisiting mine days of yore, 
when protectiveness courtesy

from behind ruthless counterattack.

Wade In An Illogical Dream

Fertile fields of sunflowers flank the picnic space.
Where the fragrant roses are scarlet or any other shade.
And where people exchange pleasantly divine grace.
A unique way to gain love, respect, and halcyon glade
This planet may purely exist in aware people's braincase.
Peace, though, keenly enjoys odd dream wade.

stingy propaganda
spilled out in abstract bits 
and theoretical pieces.

between those born with pen-ises,
impressive and recessive,
and those born with vagin-as,
competitive

Fire's fickle flare falls down
Rosy cheeks 
with violent wet streaks
of fury shattered against the
shores of tragedy.
Hair torn, grace forlorn
feigning futile fights from last morn
now rendered pointless
by endless scorn.
Free flows follow fine lines
between sorrowful and happy times
bittersweet empty crimes
unsustained lies,
times terrible truths held to roost
smashing boundaries juiced
like sour limes.

behind

Like scenes I want to cast
It floats through my head in day and night
Causing me to seem to stare into the abyss
To space out at the oddest of time

Like I'm attached, a part of someone else

So here we are in the 21st century 
acting like a flock of birds that suddenly went blind 
and flew into a red brick wall.  
We have to worry about the outbreak of Ebola, 
and ISIS murdering and taking over the globe, 
and climate change that’s melting the ice, 
and why there’s no sure-fire

or  dumfounded
under hopes.

investigations, bewilders
ordinary, acknowledged
understanding.  

Alarming solutions, 
explanations to
intricate queries, 
obviously will
unsettle. 

Antonyms come, 
enthralling, philosophical
in nature
once realized,
unforgettable.
