Lone Petal

The petal of a rose once fell
then drifted slowly through the trees.
Upon the wind it tumbled long
until it drifted up to me.

At first, I saw no value there
in just one petal all alone.
But then I stooped and picked it up
and found that it was still a rose.

I felt its velvet touch my skin,
as its aroma filled the air.
I breathed to take the fragrance in,
and suddenly I was aware

of every moment it had lived.
I felt the roots from which it came.
I seemed to speak without a word -
that all of nature is the same.

How blind we are within this shell,
we ride along so ignorantly.
We waste our time with buy and sell
and miss what otherwise would be.

It’s hard, I know, to just let go
and not be drowned with day-to-day.
But take an invite from the rose…
and smell the flowers along the way.

Premium MemberDreaming Eyes

We never know of mistakes -
Or the lie that we are living.
We lose our sense of awareness,
Tell ourselves we are believing.

But those weights grow heavy -
As we ignorantly trudge through skies.
Uplifted ‘til we realize,
Then we fall to our demise.

- And this feeling, it isn’t freeing,
For we bound ourselves to lies.
We never know we’re dreaming -
Until we open our dreaming eyes.

Vision

What to say when some billionaires buy big televisions
to watch live teachings of  men of visions.
Why astonishing to see a rich person who stole
someone 's vision to be where he"she" is today.
In this world some people  don't see dreams and visions
But  they always  interpret them ignorantly
In some religious, political and cultural groups online.
Clap hands when folks of different visions
praying to achieve similar goals in their lives.

A Murderer, Biblically

For everyone who hates his brother murders a person, and you know that eternal life cannot abide in anyone who murders a person.
                  Aramaic Bible in Plain English
                                                  1John 3:15

A murderer biblically,
Sometimes a person can be a killer
in the eyes of God ignorantly.
As he "she "continue hating other people daily.
Telling  some haters to stop hating can be daily songs
in the ears of thousands of world dancers
As the preachers don't discourage to speak loudly
in the groups, at the beaches , at flee markets,
in the churches and on the streets.
Some folks understand them , stop hating other folks
and allow godly love to shine their lives,
But others can reject their daily devotions
and continue living inhumanely.

A murderer biblically,
Hating means killing according to the scripture,
How many people does a hater kill daily?
( lots of people dying innocently.)
It is good time to repent and
stop hate in the World.

Blood of Jesus Christ

If you eat the body
And drink the blood
Of Jesus Christ ignorantly
You will go astray.

If you eat the body
And drink the blood
Of Jesus Christ wisely
You will live internally.

Finely Proceed To Succeed

When you want to achieve a great goal
Do not think that achieving is impossible
Such an attitude will make you damn weak
Believe that you can earn victory surely

Take all those relevant measures positively
And keep a record of all your great efforts
Chalk out a plan to fulfill your golden mission
Never bring a break to your sincere attempt

Do not convey that to everybody foolishly
As most of the people are not interested
They may even discourage you ignorantly
Analyze your skill and then you decide

If you feel that you can surely gain success
Plunge into the deal putting heart and soul
Have not a meek second-idea to dominate
Once you have firmly established your aim

Human beings are equally bestowed with skill
None is superior or great compared to another
Proceed ahead by exercising gifted intelligence
Reap rich rewards by deploying your genius.

Premium MemberBeing Feared

Yes, I am what you fear.
But it’s only because of
what you choose to believe,
and what you then choose to see,
that you manifest the threat
... which is apparently me.

Does that sound familiar
my prejudiced friend?
I’m something strong, strange and powerful
with no common ground shared;
but my mind’s unimportant,
just how I look - why you’re scared?

And with arrogant indifference
you don’t learn, change or grow
- ruthlessly efficient, no mercy to show.
Ignorantly happy, the worst human trait;
you can’t be bothered to know me -
you just want to hate.

Premium MemberTogether We Shall Overcome

Nigeria is on the precipice
A country in dire need of redemption
Blessed extravagantly by providence
But ravaged ignorantly by
Leadership failure
Built on faulty foundation of
Impunity, corruption and nepotism
Which has engendered overtime
Inequality of crass proportion
As insignificant few
Swim in obscene opulence
While embarrassingly majority
Wallow in criminal poverty

Arise you men of good will
Silence is no longer golden
Arise wrestle our country back
From the spirit of live and let die
Arise my compatriots to the clarion call
To rescue God’s masterpiece
From total annihilation
Stand up and be counted
Together let us overcome

A Psychopaths Pirouette On Pain

There is nothing that can make the pain go away,
but eventually you'll learn to live with it.
It will captivate your consciousness like a cage,
paralyzed and powerless you poigantly sit.

There will be nightmares,
each day when you wake up it'll be the first thing you think about.
Brain inhabited by ignited fears, at the wall you ignorantly stare.
Feeling defeated, your head fills with doubt.

It will be all you can think about without fail
until one day it will be the second thing
as hard as you tried to no avail
the pain rears it's head, relentlessly reoccuring

Ignorantly Propagated To Hells Gate

Violence
Money
***********
Proliferated by vain and vapid artistry
Break and take the young of our society

She says to them
Our stolen water is sweet
And you'll find the secret bread a delectable treat
So why don't you come into our palace and eat

Stepping into the opulent hall
He unknowingly falls into the depths of hell

Pure things he hated
By selfishness he was dictated
Vile and vacuous things he created
No legacy left his life wasted
Propagated

Superstitions

//Superstitions//

I grew up to know;
//      //       //       //
That a pregnant woman mustn't
be on street in the middle of a sunny day,
for the foetus her stomach houses might
be swapped for spirits from ancestral world.

That a grown up lad that bedwets
should pay twilight homage
to an upright tree
& twist butts in its presence.

That to trip over your left leg tells
/dooms/red light/misfortune/& bad luck/
&whenever I smash my right feet
o'er an hidden root,it's positivity & goodluck.

That when a star rushes down
& vacate the sky,
it's a proverbial way of telling
us 'bout the exit of an hero.

That ghosts find ways out of their beds
& come home each thursdays,visiting
their households & foods should either
be sprayed outside or placed in, uncovered !

That whoever urinates in river has
ignorantly dared Oluweri's wrath
&attendees at his ceremonies shall
be drenched by violent downpour.

That mothers that die aren't dead,
They loiter around, watching after their fruits.
That a sudden weird wave in the ear drum
is an evil call from the terrestrial world.

Premium MemberWriting Without Words

I am a word junkie
I cannot get enough of them
The more I learn, the more I realize
How few words I know

When I put a dictionary on my lap
And begin flipping through it,
I am amazed.
I feel illiterate,

How I can write anything at all
is a mystery to me.
Did my teachers know these words?
Why did they not teach them to me?

I am bereft
Forlorn, humbled
So I have to hide the dictionary from myself
So I can continue on, ignorantly writing away without words.

Heart of Presence

a heart full of kindness requires a presences of mind
not one full of knowledge just present in time
awareness that time is a gift hard to find,
giving time as a present gifts a presence of kind
whilst a heartless mind is ignorantly blind
