Fears Bondage

I put my heart on the line so many times,
I shared so much, I never felt the need to hide,
I viewed it as freedom to speak up and out,
I chose faith over fear more than anything else,
I watched fear debilitate and anxiety ridden,
Over cautious hearts believing it's wisdom to stay hidden,
All because they were scared of reactions and opinions,
They allowed their fears to dictate their decisions,
I didn't want to feel trapped by fears gruesome eyes,
I didn't want to live in bondage when I could see through the lies,
My heart ached to speak out, and stare fear in the face,
And vowed to God and myself ide never live that way,
And then of course, when you go against the grain,
You will always have some people who will say,
She shares too much, she's just seeking attention,
When they have no idea about her true intentions,
To care more, to free you too,
To break down feelings of fear so love will shine through.

Please Joseph, believe my poem is epic
One worthy of first place, it’s top notch
Each line was crafted by AI, not by me
Though admitting it is probably not a good idea!
Reality is sponsors are now checking things out
You ‘ve no need to fret – I truly did pen these lines!

Strange happenings

Since my partner passed away,
Life has not been good,
Maybe it's my state of mind,
To be misunderstood.
But many situations would be simply understood,
It's when you know it's where abouts,
What's the likelihood.
So many of my items have moved from where they were,
 A lack of concentration,
Or a sneaky saboteur.
I don't find it funny as it happens all the more,
It really gets my blood to boil,
And causes big uproar.
Some I find weeks later,
But some don't reappear,
I also find that very strange,
If not a little *****.
Is my loving partner playing a little game,
And have a little giggle when someone else ide blame.

Follow me and together we'll go
Over the mountains, to romance the snow
Ride a gondola lift to the great Matterhorn
Alsace-Lorraine to Château de Landskron
Love in the Alps on the French side of town
Lifted to heights, we won't want to come down
You'll feast on sweet crepes on Champs Elysees
Or take in an opera or the Paris Ballet
Under the snow moon I'd profess my love
Give you thousands of kisses and millions of hugs
I love you, I'll tell you again and again
Volumes of romance but I've reached the
End

Summer’s sweetest natural dessert
Presented itself to me in the form of a
Large seeded watermelon that
I found by chance at a local food stand.
Thrilled was I to see such a perfect specimen!

Wide, round, and green,
It had a yellowish underside and those “bee stings”
Desired by people who search for the tastiest melons
Every year when that marvelous fruit is in season.

On my arrival home, I stumbled and dropped that luscious melon.
Pulp of red juiciness splattered all over the driveway -
Effectively destroying the whole thing as it went KER-SPLAT,
Never to be enjoyed by my expected dinner guests that evening!

Oju Ide-- Brass eyes

Flashing across the scene

Witnessing the many sins

Unveiling men

As hollow beings

vile vibrating vehemently

Sounding like brass bells

settling in a place of inert

nesting like fallen logs

in a deadened hearth

repelling the usual

charming the unusual

while grappling with the curse

of a woven heart

Whispers To Stay

The winds settle
	For a subtle breeze
The tide cedes
	To a sandy beach
The light fades
	From a lovely bead
And the mother weeps
	For her unborn seed

Bard of Soups Hearts

Brings joy to our days in so many ways
All types of poetry penned that amaze
Reading is pleasure one has to agree
Distinctly good are tales from history.

One who is well read, knowing a lot too
Fables that teach some what they never knew.

Side splitting poems, laughing till we cry
One’s never bored when this poet stops by
Uplifting, inspiring, motivating
Pleasing, delighting and captivating
Some sensual that sets hearts pulsating.

Here’s to the bard, may your poems live on
Every one an epic, second to none
Anyone with heart would love every write
Raising heartbeats like music of the night
There’s one further thing I should mention
Sums you up so surely - ‘tis perfection.
